Manolo walked on the deck, his mind was still sending him signals of the water above him. Ever since he was a child, the water was like connected to him in a odd way. He didn't understand how and why, but he never told anyone about it.

And there he was, on the deck, looking in the water. His reflection seemed to look so really. He got a little closer to the edge trying not to fall. He heard a splash coming from a distance, eagerly running, he stopped at the end of the town, where the rocks were. He took off his shoes to feel the sand. He always enjoyed living in a beach. He heard another splash, he looked a little closer to the distance. He thought he saw a dolphin, but that was no dolphin. The figure gotten closer, making Manolo hid behind a rock. He pecked to see what was it.

It was a mermaid, is what Manolo thought. Though, it was a male, he cleared his voice and began to sing softly.

Love is just history
That men and women want for themselves

Manolo never heard such a beautiful voice before. His voice was like an angel coming down from heaven. But, how is this possible? A mermaid is really? Wasn't this just fantasies, an old story tale for children? Hesitating about it, he got closer to mermaid. Not seeing, he stepped on a stick making a 'crack'.

The creature looked at Manolo, who was scared. He gulped and awkwardly smiled. "Um...hi?", he shuddered.

The mermaid smiled, "Hello there, who are you?".

Manolo gulped again, "I-I am Manolo Sanchez, and you are?"

The mermaid smiled and giggled, "You may be shocked to hear this but, I am Alejandro Sanchez, your long lost twin brother."

Manolo gasped. When he young, he was supposed to have a brother, unfortunately his mother could only give birth to him. So, he did lost his twin, but when he died, he asked his mother where was his twin. She didn't know, when Manolo went back to surface, he was still sad he couldn't find his brother in the fight with Chakal. Manolo was supposed to be married by next month to the love of his life, Maria Posada, the jewel of the town.

"You are my b-brother?", Manolo asked, he walked closer to him.

Alejandro nodded, "When I died, I was cursed by the sea sounds, the sounds made me crave for love, so I became the siren of the seas."

Manolo was shocked to hear that, his own brother was a siren. Guess he wasn't a mermaid, he was something even more unimaginable. Alejandro looked like Manolo, expect for the fact he had a siren's tail which was black. His body all tan and his black hair flowed by the wind, his eyes were black as well.

"Yes, I am a siren, and you are too.", Alejandro replied, he put his hand out.

Manolo looked at his hand, he grabbed it. He was yanked to the water. His eyes were closed, he held his breath in. Alejandro hovered around him in a fast pace. Once he stopped, bubbles were spinning around Manolo. They stopped and Manolo could breathe. He looked down and saw that his legs were gone. He had a red siren's tail and the two were shirtless. Alejandro smiled and caressed his cheek.

"Now, you are a part of the sea.", he said, "You can come back any time, but tell no one about this."

Manolo nodded, "Alright, will keep this a secret, but I do have one question."

Alejandro looked up at him in a taunting way. Manolo gulped, he afraid to ask. "If I am a siren now, then doesn't that mean that if I sing, others will fall for me?"

Alejandro smirked, "Not all the time, just the song I use, and you can turn into people's fears or love ones."

Manolo giggled and sat on a rock. "Alright, I love you Alejandro."

Alejandro hugged him, "I love you Manolo."

The two sirens are now finally together, how will this turn out? That's for another day.
