Sonic's POV

We were back at the castle. "I was so certain that was going to work!" I said.

"Honestly, I'm not surprised that it didn't work." Olivier said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Think about it. You guys used to be best friends, then you left for Camelot and never came back. You never even came to visit or anything. If I was her, I'd feel betrayed."

"Olivier does have a point." Aurora said. "But there's nothing we can do, now."

"Man, Sonic. Who knew how cute your ex-best friend is?" Jason said. We all gave him a look. "What?" He asked. I sighed and shook my head. "By any chance is she single?"

"I thought that she was cute when I first met her, too. I got a crush on her and when I confessed, she said that I deserved better than her. Poor girl, she thinks so lowly of herself. She thinks she's only good enough to be Eggman's slave and steal for her. What a sin." I said.

"I can't believe that you finally have a crush, Uncle Jason!" Spazz exclaimed.

"Yeah, that's a first." Agreed Aurora.

"My big brother's finally getting out there. I'm so proud." Amy teased. Jason chuckled.

"I only said that she's cute." Jason replied.

"Guys, we're getting off track." Maria said.

"Yeah! We need to make a new plan." I agreed.

"I have an idea." A familiar voice said. We all turned around to see Tikal. "But you guys might not like it..."
