First time I see the title and I go "oh no it's horror isn't it". I'm not sure if I could do justice to the horror genre also I wouldn't really read it because I'm a coward and I scare easily.

But then again there's a contradiction because I absolutely love anything with creepy mysterious performers. Creepy circus? Creepy carnivals? Creepy puppets? Come at me.

Anyway finding the right pictures were quite a task. I adjusted a few things from your request to make it look natural and creepy enough.

The font idea from Eucatastrophe is tried to, albeit to my dismay that it didn't work out well.
I'm not sure if these look good, but I sure did try my best at an attempt of a horror cover:

Personally, I think the third looks the best. I didn't like showing obvious dripping blood because that made me cringe.

If you're not satisfied by them, simply specifically tell me what you want improved and I'd have a go at it!
