I was lucky enough to catch 3 Colours Red playing an all-nighter at Nottingham Rock City give or take three years after the release of this album. They were on the bill behind The Ataris, going on some time around 2am by which time I was quite obviously a little hammered - a can of Red Stripe for one of your British Pounds, thank you very much! I was already a fan prior to the night in question but when they broke out into This Is My Hollywood...

...suffice it to say my love for the band grew immensely!

Now I'm not gonna' lie, there's a fair amount of twisting knobs and pushing buttons that makes 3CR's vocalist sound as good on the album as he does...

...but they were an incredibly energetic, lively act, and their presence on stage was more than enough for all to ignore any shortcomings.
