Joyner Lucas has recently blown up on social media, and quickly got recognition from many for his song titled "I'm Not Racist." While some found it to be controversial, it served as a clear indicator that Joyner is not afraid to speak his mind, and that is prevalent in many of his songs. Being a part of the wave of new rappers that only rap about drugs and women, Joyner has gone against this with his album and is a breath of fresh air, showcasing his superb storytelling, fast flows, word play, and the ability to send messages across his songs.

508-507-2209 is his debut album that deserves some recognition.
