Alastor's tail + a lot of angst ( part 1)

This was supposed to be a story about Alastor's tail but turned out to be something... Very different.

Warnings, there is a lot, a LOT of angst at the end.

I hope that is still an enjoyable one-shot!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Alastor has always been reserved, even before his death.
He didn't like crowded places, reason why his job as a radio host suited him best:
A relatively empty room with only a few machines, a microphone and his trusted earphones.
His bubbly and gentleman's appearances were his shield to defend him from the world outside, also a shield to hide his real feelings and peculiar characteristics and interests.
Another reason why he loved to hunt deers: him, the woods, the birds singing and the eventual thrill of the kill.
Here in hell, he was even more reserved than before since letting your enemy's know of your weaknesses, wasn't a really good idea.
He always hid the reason of his deer appearance... Since he wasn't very fond of his...tail.
He never showed it to anyone unless someone bothered him so much about wanting to see it until it annoyed the heck out of him and the only way to get them to stop, was telling them.
You were one of those type of demons, a curious annoying cat-looking demon who was way too innocent to be here in hell.
It was a lovely evening until you showed up.
He was enjoying his coffee while reading a book he had randomly picked from the shelves, sitting in one of the comfortable armchairs available in front of the crackling fireplace of the library in the Hotel.
The room was quiet, exactly how Alastor liked it... well... until the door opened.
At first, Alastor didn't even bother to check who had entered the room, hoping that whoever it was, went there to return a book and leave.
Sadly, it wasn't like that.
After a few minutes of small distracting noises of what he assumed was someone struggling with something, coming from behind him, he let an eye slip away from the book in his hands to see you and your long-tail swinging from left to right, trying to reach a book that was definitely placed too far up for you to reach.
Alastor knew that the only way to make you leave was to get up and get the book for you, so that what he did.
"Which one do you need?" he stepped next to you, startling you a bit.
"O-oh, hi Alastor! I didn't notice you there!"
You blushed intensely.
Of course you didn't see him, you never paid too much attention to your surroundings, so he wasn't very surprised about it.
"Um... Since you are so kind... it's the one with the purple cover and the gold text" you stepped aside, making room for him to reach the book.
He took out the book with the description you gave him and asked if this was the book you wanted.
"Yes! It's that one... OH MY GOD!!!"
Alastor looked confused at your reaction until... He noticed what you had seen.
Alastor took off his overcoat since sitting in front of the fireplace was quite warm and forgot to put it back on when he got up to help you... Meaning that his tail was out in the open.
"Y-you have a tail?! I- you never told me!" your expression was a mix of surprise and happiness, how could he get out of this situation now?
His face became a blushing mess as you touched it, making him almost drop the book, still in his hands.
"Oh my! It's so soft and fluffy too! So cute!"
"Yeah, I have a tail, now get you book and leave." he shoved the book in your hands and teleported on his previous seat, picking back his book as nothing ever happened.
"B-but!" he turned his head towards you and statics started to fill the room, his face becoming way scarier and his eyes glowed of the brightest red.
"We don't talk about this, ever again. Got it?"
You quickly nodded, gulping down air.
"I don't like you cat-looking sinner, so stop being annoying and you'll live"
The light coming from the fireplace started to disappear, Alastor was going to keep his tail a secret, no matter the cost.
You shrieked in fear and bolted out of the room, leaving the book on the ground.
The statics quieted down as the door closed, allowing Alastor to go back to his fortunately still warm tea, and his history book.
After two hours, it was almost dinner time, and since Alastor's food wouldn't kill itself, he left the library, putting back in place the book you had forgotten to pick up
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

A few days had passed from the event in the library and Alastor noticed your efforts in avoiding him.
Honestly, he was glad you stopped talking to him since you could talk for hours about the most boring things ever, and it was very hard to stop you too so, it was very much a win.

Until... You started to completely ignore him.

Every time he talked, you didn't listen and left the room mid-sentence and if called your name, you never replied back.

And you were so good at hiding it that no one noticed it!
He tried to point it out to Charlie but she said that you weren't acting strange at all...

Avoiding him was fine... But ignoring?

That was just disrespectful.

" Oh dear! Wait for me"
You were walking down the corridor, passing room as you didn't slow don't to wait for him to catch up.

Alastor sighed and teleported next to you, trying to gain your attention.

"You know... Ignoring people is quite rude, don't you say?"
No response, you kept going, not even glancing at him.

"I feel like we should start over, forget, and treat each other normally, deal?"
Again, you didn't say or do anything, you just kept walking.

Alastor had enough.

He stepped in front of you and slammed your body onto the wall between a door and another, trapping you with his body, radio statics raised all around you.

"Stop ignoring me, or I'll leave your body free of you head and soul"

But so did you.

"I DON'T CARE!!!"
You cried out, tears falling down your cheeks.

"ALL YOU DO IS INSULT ME AND GIVE ORDERS WHILE TREATING ME! *sob* HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO ENDURE THIS!!!"

You freed yourself from him, not that Alastor resisted since he was still in shock from your reaction.

"WHY DID I HAVE TO FALL IN LOVE WITH SUCH A BOSSY, TERRIBLE, EGOISTIC FUCK LIKE YOU?!"

He froze... F-fall in love?

"I SHOULD HAVE LEFT THIS HOTEL WHEN I HAD THE CHANCE, NO...I SHOULD HAVE NEVER CAME HERE!!!"

She finally looked at him, and their eyes met.
"Dear...i'm sor-"

"SHUT UP!!! I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANOTHER WORD FROM YOU, I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOU AGAIN!!!"

You started to walk back to the elevator as Alastor grabbed your hand.

"Hey, l-listen, pl-please I-..."

"STAY AWAY FROM ME YOU MONSTER!!!"

She shrugged his hands off and continued to sob loudly until you reached the elevator and fell to the floor as the doors closed, Alastor was still looking at where you once were, remembering your face full of tears...

Yes... You were right...Only a monster could have made you cry.
