Allen Walker, a white haired, British, 15 year old boy with a peculiar scar on his left eye and a cross embedded into his left hand, walked into the office of Komui Lee, the head chief of the science department at the Black Order. Komui himself was sound asleep and next to him stood section leader, Reever.

"Umm..." Allen began, "I was called here for a new assignment?"

"Oh, yeah." Reever sighed, "Head officer." He shook Komui to wake him up. Komui didn't budge. Reever then punched Komui in the back of the head. Again, nothing. Then, Reever leaned in and whispered into Komui's ear, "I heard Lenalee's getting married."

"LENALEE!!!!!!!!" Komui screamed as he scrambled awake.

"Sorry about that, Allen." Reever apologized, "We can't wake him up any other way."

"I know." Allen sweat-dropped.

"Oh, sorry about my sleeping," Komui began after calming down, "I was up all night last night and..."

"So was I!" Reever hissed with a tick mark.

Komui sweat-dropped. "Anyway," he continued, "I bet you're wondering why I called you down here. Like I said, I was up all night. I was doing research on a peculiar city. Death City, it's called."

'Death city,' Allen thought to himself, 'that sounds pleasant.'

"You see," Komui continued his explanation, "there have been multiple strange events down there."

"An innocence?" Allen asked.

"We aren't sure." Komui stated, "But there have been reports of human beings pulling off superhuman feats."

"Such as?" Allen questioned.

"Such as people your age turning completely into weapons, such as a scythe, or a gun. A lot like a parasite type exorcist like you, Allen. Thing is, these aren't like any exorcists we've ever come across. So, whether or not an innocence is involved, your job is to check it out. See what these people are like. It seems like a simple task, but be careful. There's also some new akuma-like creatures. It's still rather risky. So, Lavi and Lenalee will be joining you. Have fun!"

And with that, Allen was sent to Death City along with two other exorcists. First is Lavi, a spiky red-haired, 18 year old boy of unknown heritage with a head-band, an eyepatch on his right eye, and a small hammer holstered at his side. Second is Lenalee Lee, Komui's 16 year old younger sister. She had dark green hair and long black boots. Also, she's Chinese. Together, the 3 set out by way of train, unsure what to expect in Death City.
