Black Star, a fairly skilled assassin with spiky blue hair and wearing a sleeveless black "shirt" (I really don't know how to describe his appearance, sorry) walked with his partner, Tsubaki. Tsubaki was a tall girl with long black hair done in a long ponytail. She wore a tan dress (not entirely sure if "dress" is the right word here. I'm getting these descriptions for Soul Eater characters mostly from Sonicandbrian's Camp Anime novel, so if you have complaints about my descriptions, save it for him) with a yellow star on the upper right part of said dress.

"HA!" Black Star laughed with a huge, goofy grin, "This mission's gonna be way too easy!"

"Black Star," Tsubaki sighed, "you shouldn't underestimate the people you're about to pick a fight with. They could always be bigger threats than you think."

"'Bigger'?" Black Star asked, looking at Tsubaki like she was an idiot, "That doesn't intimidate a big star like me!"

Suddenly, Black Star noticed Lavi. He and Tsubaki took cover on top of a building, hiding in darkness.

"I have no idea where I am." Lavi sweat dropped, talking to himself, "I'm so lost, I'm actually talking to myself..." Lavi suddenly froze, interrupted by Black Star whispering to himself.

"Assassin's rule: number 1," Black Star began, "Silence: dissolve in the darkness and erase your breath."

"Are you whispering through a bullhorn?" Lavi sweat dropped, "I can hear you from here."

"YAHOO!!!!!" Black Star suddenly screamed, leaping from his hiding spot and trying to land on Lavi. Lavi dodged easy as Black Star landed on the ground with a loud stomp. Tsubaki joined him. "I am the great assassin, Black Star!" He continued as he stood straight and pointed at Lavi, "If you're scared to face a man so much bigger than you, I understand. Sometimes I get scared of myself, I'm so great!"

"You're an assassin?" Lavi asked, confused, "Aren't assassins supposed to be sneaky?"

"Ha!" Black Star laughed, "Insulting me to try and make yourself look bigger than me! I won't tolerate such an arrogant bastard."

"Oh, I'm the arrogant one here?" Lavi asked with sarcasm, "Looks to me like you're all talk."

"Oh, yeah?!" Black Star exclaimed, "Tsubaki, chain-scythe mode!" Suddenly, Tsubaki transformed into a chain-scythe in Black Star's hands, "Now do you see what a big man I am? I'd start running if I were you."

"You wanna talk about big?" Lavi grinned as he pulled out his small hammer.

"BWAHAHA!!" Black Star burst in laughter, "You call that a-"

"Big hammer, little hammer," Lavi interrupted, "grow, grow, GROW!!!" Suddenly, the hammer grew to an enormous size, although Lavi held it like it was just a stick.

"That's....... a very big hammer." Tsubaki sweat dropped.

Lavi sent the hammer down at Black Star. Black Star dodged, then threw Tsubaki so that the chain wrapped around the hammer. Lavi then began to twirl the hammer around in circles, whipping Black Star back and forth. Eventually, Black Star let go of Tsubaki and flew into a wall, then fell to the ground. Black Star got up, dizzy. His face was green and his eyes were swirls. Lavi then slammed his hammer down at Black Star. Black Star quickly recovered, then caught the gigantic hammer, holding it up and keeping it from crushing him.

"Heh, you're pretty strong." Lavi began.

Black Star strained to hold up the hammer, and eventually escaped from being crushed. He then found Tsubaki, then reclaimed his weapon and slashed at Lavi's leg, then punched him in the face. Lavi took damage, but responded by hitting Black Star full force with the hammer. Black Star went through a wall, which then collapsed.

"Game over." Lavi sighed. Suddenly, Black Star got back up, more angry than before.

"Tsubaki," Black Star grinned, "smoke bomb mode!" Suddenly, smoke surrounded both fighters. When the smoke cleared, Lavi was alone.

"Where'd he go...?" Lavi began. Suddenly, Black Star hit Lavi in the side with his soul wavelengths (I do not know the name of that attack. Someone in the comments please tell me its' name so I can fix this). Lavi flew back a few feet, landing on his back. Lavi got up, a hand clenched to his side. "HAHAHAH!!!!" Black Star laughed, "That's what you get when you try to fight a big man like me."

"Okay," Lavi began slowly, "now, you're getting on my nerves! Big hammer, little hammer..... EXTEND!" Suddenly, Lavi's hammer reached out and impacted hard against Black Star's face. Black Star fell and hit the ground hard.

After Black Star got up, he and Lavi charged at each other. Just before they attacked each other, Lenalee knocked Lavi back while Death the Kid, a boy with yellow eyes, black clothing and black hair with 3 horizontal white stripes on the left side only, knocked Black Star back.

"Enough!" Lenalee hissed at Lavi, "You're not fighting the right people here! These aren't enemies, they actually protect the world."

"Really?" Lavi asked with sarcasm, "Then why did that one pick a fight with me?!"

"He always does that. He does it with us too." a voice spoke from one of Kid's twin pistols. The pistols then transformed into two girls, the sisters, Liz and Patty (there's the laziness with descriptions kicking in. Sorry, but right now, I don't feel like describing how they look. Again, sorry).

"Wait..." Lavi began, looking at Lenalee, "So, while I've been fighting for my life against some blue-haired pest, you were socializing?"

Lenalee sighed at Lavi's question. "You're missing the point..." She began. Suddenly, the group was joined by a small, golden, ball-looking thing with wings (for all you Harry Potter fans, think golden snitch).

"Isn't that Allen's golem?" Lavi asked.

"Timcanpy?" Lenalee pondered, "What're you doing here?"

Timcanpy suddenly projected a sort of hologram showing Allen, Maka, and Soul fighting a level 3 akuma.

"That creature..." Kid began, "What is that thing Maka and Soul are fighting?"

"And who's the guy with white hair?" Patty added.

"Looks like Allen's fighting a level 3 akuma." Lavi sighed, "At least he has some backup."

"He shouldn't be fighting a level 3!" Lenalee exclaimed, then zoomed off toward the battle.

"Hey, don't leave me behind!" Lavi called out, then placed the butt of his hammer on the ground, "Extend!" The hammer extended, sending Lavi out to the fight as well. Timcanpy followed.

"Hey!" Black Star began with a tick mark, "Soul and Maka are fighting that freaky monster?! I won't let them upstage me! I'm the star! Come on, Tsubaki!" Then, Black Star and Tsubaki also followed.

"And what about us?" Liz asked Kid, "We're not going to join that fight, are we?"

"Are you kidding?!" Kid replied, "Of course we are! I only got a glance at that thing, but even so, I could tell it knows nothing of symmetry! It was one of the most disgusting things I've ever seen and it can't be allowed to live!"

"I was worried you were gonna say that." Liz sweat dropped.

"Come on!" Kid called as he walked toward the battlefield, "We must destroy this 'akuma' immediately!" Then, Kid, Liz, and Patty also joined this battle.
