They were bored. Beyond bored. Even Shinju was bored with drawing her yaoi ships and Shay and Kay were too bored to bicker.

"Hey guys," Shinju suddenly spoke, "wanna hear something weird?"

Sitting up from Shay's lap, Kay yawned and stretched before giving her usual answer, "fuck yeah!" Shay lightly swatted the redhead's head at the swear and "tch!" her. Rubbing the sore spot, Kay glared at her. Before an argument could break out, Shinju recaptured their attention.

"When I was a kid, I had this closet-" "Armoire" Kay quickly corrected. Shinju huffed and decided to ignore her.

"Before I was RUDELY interrupted, I had a CLOSET. For as long as I can remember it's always been there. I drew on it, practiced kicking boys with it, all sorts of things!

"But what I remember the most is, at night, when I was sleeping, I SWEAR I could hear people and sounds coming from it. One night, I think the door opened. I pretended to be asleep but I felt a presence..."

"Who do you think it was?!" Shay asked, her words a little breathy as she was caught up in the suspense Shinju had created.

Shinju sat back and recrossed her legs, thinking about those nights so long ago.

"I'm not sure," she finally said, "but it was always the same voice saying "I'll see you soon, Shinju" and the voice was so sexy! Deep and raspy with an undertone of menace..."

"Hold up," Kay said, raising her hands. "You expect us to believe that some mystery man spied on your from your armoire when you were a kid?"

Giving Kay a deadly look Shinju nodded.

"Where is this armoire?"

"Come" Shinju beckoned and they all got to their feet. They silently walked around to her garden where an old lightly coloured wood armoire sat on the patio. The wood was weather beaten and faded with cracks in the doors and the hinges were rusted almost shut. Chibi like drawings of boys covered every available surface.

"This? Is the supposedly haunted thing?" Kay questioned, doubt and sarcasm creeping into her voice. "Yes!" Shinju retorted, stamping her foot on the patio stone causing a small cloud of dust to poof up.

Shay walked closer to the piece of furniture and slowly opened a door. A creepy creaking sound emitted from the hinges and once it was fully opened, the door threatened to fall off the hinge.

They peered inside. It was a wooden box, filled with shadows, dust and spiders. "Pffft there's nothing here" Kay said dismissively.

"What if...what if we go inside?" Shay asked. They looked at each other, wondering who would go first.

"Alright alright! I'll fucking go! Buncha pussies" Kay muttered as she clambered into the box. Shay closed the door on her gently and Kay sat in the blackness.

This is stupid. It's just a piece of furniture. Probably from Ikea, too. Piece of shit...

She felt a pull in her guts as if she was hurtling backwards. She was falling? Through space? WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?!

The armoire's darkness faded as she fell, bright colours becoming more distinct the closer she came to the ground. She tried to twist and turn so as to fall somewhat safely and not injure herself.

The falling sensation subsided when she felt herself hit solid ground. A blade was held to her throat. "Don't fucking move" a man's voice commanded. For once, she obeyed.

Meanwhile, Shay was beginning to worry as no sound was coming from the armoire and she couldn't hear Kay's bitching. She opened the door to find it empty.

"See?! I told you!" Shinju shouted, alarmed and happy that there was finally proof to her story. "Where did she go?!" Shay fretted, poking her head inside to try and find her friend. She crawled all the way inside and Shinju quickly shut the door on her.

Before she could protest, she felt herself falling and groaned when her knees hit the earth. "Another one?!" An incredulous voice asked and tendrils wrapped around her.

Finally, overcome with curiosity, Shinju climbed into the box and closed the door. She, too, fell and before she hit the ground, a pair of arms caught her. She opened the eyes she had closed shut to see tanned and stitched skin. Following the stitches upwards, she saw a pair of broad shoulders and red and green eyes.

"You've finally come home, Shinju" the man's familiar voice purred...
