He Decides to Propose

* Has unpredictable timing. He will randomly yet strongly suggest that the two of you take an evening walk. He will not take 'no' for an answer. You find it odd but comply with his request.

* Nervous as hell. His hands are clammy, his stomach errupts with fear and excitement at the same time. He's so focused on finding a place to propose that he forgets to talk to you. From the anixety slightly peeking through Obito's usual blank expression, you start to believe that something may be wrong.

* Makes little eye contact with you. He can't stop the nervy trembling of his hands so he stuffs them in his pocket before you can notice. His face flushes a deep shade of red when he feels you loosely wrap your arms around his arm as a form of comforting him.

* He has doubts of whether he should go through with this. Obviously you would say 'yes' but Obito struggles with his confidence. Blame the scars of his past... Regardless of how many times you've assured him that you love him for who he is, he still has a hard time not seeing himself as a monster. For this very reason, he often finds himself wondering how got so lucky to be able to date someone like you.

* Finds a park and drags you to it. He walks along until he finds what he's looking for. The perfect setting: The small bridge you stand on has a river underneath, the moon is set high in the sky, countless stars scattered about, a gentle breeze blowing through the air and innumerable cherry blossom petals fall around the two of you.

* You gather the courage to ask him what's bothering him. He immediately drops to one knee and fumbles with getting the small black box out of his pocket. You bite back your giggles as you watch with a mixture of adoration and trepidation stirring in your heart.

* Stutters through his proposal. Obito thinks he's screwing it but you find it endearingly adorable. You extend your left hand to him to allow him to place the ring on your finger. He slowly slides it on. He tightly embraces you and buries his face in your hair. He can't stop himself from murmuring 'I love you' over and over again.

* He's not be the best at expressing himself through his words. Once the door to your bedroom closes, Obito makes certain that he shows you just how grateful he is that you chose him to spend the rest of your life with.
