There was complete silence. But the King II made his statement clear. He won't allow Princess Yona to marry Prince Soo-won.

Daiki sighed and looked around with his eyes, he noticed that Hak was staring out the window. With his dragon vision, Daiki saw three guards talking.

Daiki frowned. 'I've never seen them before, and clearly Hak didn't either...' Daiki made a mental note to check up on it, but went back to the main show.

He looked back to the Red-haired princess who was looking very. . .upset. She at least had her usual stubborn will to fight.

"Soo-won is the son of my Father's brother, Yoo-Hong (Shin-chan: Soo-won's dad, and a famous general. Deceased) He's royal blood."She stated with her eyes shadowed.

King II sighed, "That may be true... But it is my duty as king to choose my heir." Daiki mentally sighed, and tried to calm his beating heart, 'I really hate how my dragon blood always reacts when the Red Dragon is upset...' 

"Why? Soo-won is a fine man. You're a cowardly king who is too afraid to touch a weapon." Yona said, Daiki felt a sharp annoyance, 'I don't think I, myself, will ever understand King II. . .but I can't really bring myself to call him a 'coward'. . .'

The black dragon inside of him thought differently, 'He is a coward, you're just annoyed that the princess is always so blunt and rude.' Daiki sighed, "I am indeed a cowardly king." Started King II, 'Oh, so now he admits it.' thought Daiki, mentally rolling his eyes.

"Your mother was captured and killed by insurgents. Such dangers go hand in hand with being part of a king's family" Continued King II, "That is why I have found no desire to take a new wife." King II looked at Yona, "Yona, you want Soo-won to be happy, do you not?"

Yona looked like she was about to cry as she gripped her dress. Daiki sighed, 'Happiness is hard to find these days. . .' Daiki didn't understand, perhaps in a normal way, Yona married Soo-won, who raises up the kingdom again, and Hak and him will serve them proudly. Yeah, like that's going to happen.

Yona is the Red Dragon. Her destiny is not going to be an easy one.

"I don't understand." Daiki snapped out of his thoughts as he heard Yona's whimpering voice. "I don't understand, Father." Hak, looked troubled as well as he turned to look at the distraught princess.

Yona said nothing more, and Hak and Daiki escorted her out of the room.

Couple minutes later...

Yona commanded Daiki and Hak to leave her alone. Hak surprisingly obeyed, Daiki ignored it and sat on the roof above Yona despite the pouring rain. Yona sat down in the middle of a random hallway, slumping while holding her knees, not knowing that the Black Dragon was right above her, listening to her thoughts.

'Does that meant it's all right for the man I marry to meet with misfortune? Am I not allowed to be happy?'  Yona wondered sadly.

'Yona, you really are selfish. . .you are a princess, currently the most beautiful girl in the kingdom, she has everything she needs, and no worries (for now) and is thinking that she is not allowed to be happy?'  Daiki sighed, then starts playing with a bird that landed on his finger.

'I guess that's what they say, the love is more valuable then money.' The black-haired servant thought absently.

'But it's true... Even if Father allowed it, in Soo-Won's eyes, I'm still the same child I was back then.'  Yona thought. Daiki couldn't really argue with that.

He loved Yona like a little sister(remember Daiki is a girl, so don't take it the wrong way) Yona may not know it but, Daiki did care for her, but Daiki always wondered if it was him or the dragon blood? He ignored that for now. He silently responded to Yona,

'I don't know if Soo-won is your "meant to be" but you have to be strong on what will happen next... ' Daiki didn't know why, but felt an incredibly bad feeling.

"Soo-won and I were never meant to be...." Daiki heard Yona say, with tears in her eyes, then both heard a splash.

Daiki felt his spine tingle as he reached down in his boot to grab a couple of paralyzing darts. Then he heard a thump and his eyes widened, he heard Yona start to run away, Daiki jumped down, and he looked to see Yona being chased.

Since when did a gorilla get in here...'  Daiki wondered as for some reason the man who was chasing Yona reminded him of a gorilla, he shook his head, this wasn't the time to be thinking about how a man-like gorilla came, he has to help Yona.

Daiki sped on the ground as being a blur, when Yona suddenly went into a random room. The figure went away.

'Help Yona..chase figure....help yona...chase figure....'  Daiki wondered between his options. 'Help Yona.'  He decided, knowing her, she will be really freaked out by now.

Daiki jumped up onto the palace hallways, when he stopped in front of the room Yona just came in. It was Lord Soo-won's room if he remembered correctly.

Daiki shamelessly listened quietly, "A-A s-strange man chased m-me." He heard Yona stutter, Daiki sensed foot-steps and quickly jumped on the roof, he heard the door sliding open, probably Soo-won looking around. He closed the door and Daiki jumped back down silently, and peeked through the opening between the sliding doors with his dragon vision to focus.

"No one is there." Soo-won informed. Yona's eyes widened.

"N-No, that can't be.." She stuttered again. 'He ran away.. A castle guard would have said something...' she thought.

Daiki narrowed his eyes as he saw Yona having an absolutely terrifying look of horror on her face, Soo-won noticed it as well as he went up to her, "Yona..." he draped his rob around the shaking princess. 

"It's all rights. I'm here." Yona started to have tears fall down, "No...I can't be with you..." she cried, "Why not?" Soo-won said, slightly confused.

Daiki heard her thoughts, 'If you stay with me, you'll be in danger...' Soo-won stood up with a dark look on his face. "If you rather be with Hak, I will take you to his quarters..." He said quietly, (Daiki was mentally smacking his head on the wall, *sighs* 'And here I thought I was bad with romance and drama...')

Yona looked confused, "After all he is your betrothed" Soo-won said darkly. 'Either he is really good at acting or he's really stupid' Daiki thought, not looking forward to the upcoming drama.

"Hak would probably be very angry if he knew the two of us are alone here" Soo-won began walking to the door, 'No....Soo-won, that's not it'  Yona started to have tears blur her eyes, 'You don't have to turn around ...So..'

"Soo-won I have always. .. .loved you" Yona cried tears streaming down. Soo-won turned around shocked, while Daiki was squirming on how he wanted to get out of here. '

I can love you, can't I?'  Yona thought as tears continued pouring out of her eyes.

"It looks like it started to rain" Soo-won said a little absently, even though it had been raining for a while. '

He ignored me'  thought Yona, as Daiki was sighing. "Let me walk you to your room, I'll call a guard." Soo-won turned around with his forced smile on, he started walking closer to the door, Yona stood up and tried to reach his cloak, "Soo-won, I-"

Soo-won slapped Yona's hand away.

Yona looked shocked for a moment and looked at him while Daiki was thinking if this is a sign of instant rejection.

"Please don't come near me, I might make a mistake." Soo-won said, Yona looked at him with a confused face still with tears. "That is, a moment ago, it sounded as if you were saying that you..." Soo-won trailed off, Yona looked down, "And what if that wasn't a mistake?" Soo-won gasped his eyes widening, "If that wasn't a mistake, would that upset you?" Yona said again.

There was silence while Daiki was really curious on what was going to happen next.

"I can't let that happen. I can't let myself see you as a woman" Said Soo-won blushing as he turned around. Yona had a moment when she suddenly asked, "What was I until now, then?" Soo-won went to Mr. Airhead rabbit, "Huh? Oh, well...A younger sister perhaps?"

"I knew that!" Yona cried, 'way to ruin the mood...' thought Daiki. "I'm sorry. I am unfamiliar with things like this.." Soo-won said blushing hard. 'Soo-won is turning red' Yona thought.

"So you lied about your engagement?" said Yona, tears no longer streaming, "I just meant such discussions have come up. I'm not engaged yet." said Soo-won blushing while slightly playing with his fingers, Yona had her stubborn attitude coming back, "Soo-won, do I look like a woman to you?"

Soo-won took a quick glance at her before adverting his eyes again, "At the least, I could not sleep holding hands with you anymore. My nerves would prevent me from sleeping"

Yona giggled "Well, that's fine. If you've given me even the slightest consideration, that's enough for now."

Okay, Daiki really wanted someone to gag him, he didn't mind sappy moments, but really this was going a little to far.

"Yona..." Soo-won said still blushing, then he slowing started patting Yona again, Daiki heard Yona's thoughts say, 'Father, I still love Soo-Won. I don't know anything about the kingdom or kings yet... But, Father, just being by his side is my greatest happiness.'

Outside, Daiki sighed, right now he was on the roof again because his dragon blood told him too, then he saw why, that Gorilla guy watched the shadows in Soo-won's room then walked away.

'I will never trust a Gorilla.' Daiki thought, then he jumped down when 'Gorilla' was out of sight, he sighed and looked at the figures in Soo-won's room. Soo-won is her greatest happiness, huh? Daiki never really was experienced in lover's love, but he knew family's love. 'I will just support her from afar.' Daiki thought, the black dragon's second name.

The Shadow Dragon. Daiki knew he didn't have to follow traditions, but Daiki liked being in the shadows, quiet and gone, striking and dangerous.

Daiki looked up, it was already sunset, time to call for Yona, silently apologizing for ruining their moment, Daiki stood at the end of the hall and started walking like he just came, "Yona-hime! Please come out!" Daiki said in his loud voice, which isn't really a loud volume, but it caught Yona's attention.

Daiki heard Yona tell Soo-won to be quiet, then she went to hide somewhere in his room, he smirked slightly and knocked on the door, "Soo won-sama, have you seen Princess Yona?" he asked in a 'innocent' voice as if he was an 'innocent' bystander.

Soo-won opened the door with his usual happy face on, "Ah, Daiki-kun! We haven't really talked have we, and no I haven't seen Yona." Daiki sighed, "Your face is red Soo won-sama, are you sick?" he asked.

Knowing that he was obviously still blushing, Soo-won panicked slightly, Daiki sighed, "Yona-hime! I know your in there please come out, you can meet with Soo Won-sama tomorrow" Yona came out pouting slightly, I smirked, then pretended with a calm face a bowed,

"Oh, I'm sorry, did I interrupt a moment?" I said in an emotionless voice, they both instantly blushed, then Yona grabbed my hand and pulled me out, "Bye Soo-won!" She ran back to her room, Daiki following silently.

At her room, Daiki brought hers and Hak's dinner (Hak barged in because he was bored.), they both began to eat as Daiki opened the door to exit. But Daiki just couldn't help himself as he couldn't stop himself from saying.

"Yona-hime, I know you are a young woman now, but please don't do anything odd with your lovers." She chocked furiously while Hak spitted out his drink.

I snickered silently behind my mask as I exited and closed the door, hearing yelling and curses, most meant for me.
