×Itachi's POV×

--"I won't be long."-- I said walking towards the door. I was angry, I couldn't think straight, I couldn't control the rage I wanted to unleash upon the Hidden Leaf. I had sacrificed so much, just for them to take away all the things I hold dear for the "greater good of the future".

--"W-wait! Itachi..."-- I heard a soothing but cracked voice call out, almost like if that person were to break apart at any moment.

I turned around just to see my beloved girlfriends small figure, leaning against a door frame and panting softly. --"Sakura?...you should be in bed...come on..."-- I said as I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her waist delicately.

--"N-no! I don't need to rest!... I'm fine."-- she yelled out with a small frown plastered upon her face.

--"Don't leave..."-- she managed to say softly, looking up into my eyes. I couldn't bare the feeling of having her look so fragile. I despised the feeling, I didn't want it. I needed her smile, but I know that won't be possible since she's in a lot of pain right now.

My thoughts were interrupted by a loud grunt. --"D-damnit!"-- she clenched her shirt as she almost started to stumble back, luckily I was able to catch her, and I carried her bridal style back with the other girls.

--"I don't want to leave, love. But I must."-- I whispered to her as I carefully laid her on a bed, moving some strands of her hair off her forehead and kissing it gently.

She took my hand and gripped onto it tightly --"S-stay safe"-- she said as I nodded slightly at her.

×Hidan's POV×

"Ten..." I mumbled as I looked down at her. She was sweating uncontrollably. I patted her face softly with a small towel, taking away the sweat.--"Hey Konan! Why the hell is she the only one having trouble breathing and sweating like she's in some fucking sauna!?"-- I said annoyed.

Konan sighed as she finished off giving Sasori a bucket since Hinata started to throw up small amounts of blood. --"Because, dumbass, their curse marks are located on different area's of their bodies. Therefore any internal organ damage they have will all be from diverse locations."--

My head tilted to the side as I looked back towards Tenten, she looked like...an angel...but she was in pain. A frown started to form on my face as I walked up to her and stroked her hair.

--"She's supposed to be immortal...like me..."-- I muttered.

Konan walked behind me and placed a hand on my shoulder. --"Her curse mark is on her lower back, her spinal cord is affected...she is immortal, but she can still feel pain."--

I bit my lip and kissed her hand delicately while turning towards Konan. --"That Tsunade or whoever the heck she is; is definitely gonna be gone after I finish with her and her fucktard of a comrade."--

×Deidara's POV×

--"P-Promise m-me...you won't be g-gone for long..."-- Ino mumbled while gripping onto my shirt.

My eyes quickly softened, I took her hand and gave her a peck on the cheek. --"If you promise me you'll behave so that you get better."-- I muttered into her ear, she quietly agreed and I said my goodbye's.

I walked out of the room and into my own, searching for something to wear.

--"Ino's gardening books are here...where in the name of my explosions did she place my clothes?..."-- I thought as I scanned the room.

--"Miss Ino left your t-shirts in the drawer beside the red one. Here, I got one."-- I turned around to Tobi had my t-shirt. I yanked it from his hand and mumbled to him --"Thanks, un."--

He looked down to his hand as it started to twitch a bit. --"No problem."-- he said with a cheerful tone of voice.

I better get going...

×Sasori's POV×

Hinata started vomiting...blood. The curse mark on the back of her neck was causing her so much pain. Konan said her throat was affected...that's why she was coughing up all that blood...

--"It h-u-hurts! It h-u-hurts...so m-much...."-- she started saying as she cried onto my chest. I had her blood and tears all over me...I couldn't see her like this, suffering horribly.

I then decide to cast one of my jutsus on her. It only makes the person I cast it on grow unconscious of their surroundings, and to fall into a deep state of sleep for a while.

--"I know darling...I know."-- I mumbled and rubbed her back as I casted the jutsu. She then quickly fell asleep and I left her laying down on her bed, placing a blanket on her after saying --"I love... you."--

I walked away.

--"That jutsu just lasts a day."-- Black Zetsu spoke to me.

--"That's not enough time for you to stop Tsunade and Orochimaru, Sasori."-- the white half added.

I glared back at both of them, causing them to sweatdrops nervously. I then continued to walk away, into my room. As I entered the door I saw a small note fall off my desk.

--"She wrote this... today..."-- I thought while gripping the piece of paper tightly.

--"Why!? Why her!? She's done nothing! To be... burdened with this pain...and I... didn't even know it was her birthday...I couldn't even...give her what she wanted...on her day..."-- I frowned while biting my lower lip.

Upset. I'm upset with myself... can't even protect the girl I love correctly.

My thoughts were interrupted by a loud smash to a nearby wall in another room.

--"Hinata..."--

A quick image of her popped into my mind as I rushed to the other room.

×Kakuzu's POV×

--"Who may you be?"-- I asked the intruder.

--"Tell Itachi to meet me outside the Uchiha residence"-- the man said before dissapearing into thin air.

--"Shadow clone, huh. That was pretty lame, Kakuzu. I would've gathered more intel about the fellow with my Samehada."--

--"Shut up, Kisame."-- I replied irritated.

--"We heard a loud noise, what happened?"-- Deidara asked as he walked in with Tobi.

--"An intruder."-- I plainly said.

--"He's an Uchiha."-- I heard Itachi say from afar.

Sasori arrived soon after --"I thought you and your younger brother were the last Uchiha's, along with Tobi."--

Tobi sweatdropped after Sasori's statement.

Itachi lowered his head --"I thought so...too."--

--"Want me to verify instead?"-- Kisame suggested.

--"No. I'll go."-- Itachi disagreed to Kisame's terms.

--"Need backup?"-- Deidara and Hidan offered.

--"No."-- he said before walking out.

--"Hmm...I wonder who that was..."-- I thought to myself.

×Itachi's POV×

--"No, it can't be him... he's been dead for years already..."-- my mind wandered, trying to figure out who was the Uchiha my comrades encountered.

I walked outside the Uchiha's residence just to see someone I never thought were still alive.

--"Long time no see, Itachi."-- the man I considered my bestfriend said with a wide smile.

--"Shisui?..."--
