--"So...what sh-should we d-do about the s-scroll?...."-- I awkwardly asked...

--"Awww dammit! How was I so stupid!? That was my chance! To finally kiss her.....and I wasted it!"-- I thought as I was about to rip my head off. The thought of even having Konan that close to me was undeniable the best feeling in the world...

--"I think we should open it later.... I....I need to go buy some stuff for dinner.... I'll b-be b-back soo-n"-- she said stuttering....*sigh* --"Now she can't even stay in the same room with me after what happened...UGHH WHY IS LIFE LIKE THIS!?"-- I thought before telling Konan to take care and to be back before sunset.

I went to my bedroom and fell on my bed....I was slowly starting to slide off. And I ended up on the floor. Looking at the ceiling....

--"Does she even like me?...."-- that question kept on ringing through my mind.

×Konan's POV×

I quickly went out the door. I couldn't even look at Yahiko without blushing.
--"So close...."-- the thought of him being so close to me made a chill run through my spine....

I then shoock my head getting my mind focused on what I had to do. It was raining...as always, there wasn't a single day the rain stopped pouring. The hidden Rain Village....

--"Tch...such an awful place to live in. Between the great nation's who are constantly at war. I want to live in a world where there is no such thing as 'conflicts nor problems' that have to be solved with violence. That's absurd. We've got a mouth for something, they should resolve their situations using words, not by battling.--" I thought while looking at the village I was at.

I walked through the village... it's so quiet...and deserted....

I then saw something red laying on the ground, not to far away from where I was at.

I was curious to know what it was, so I ran in that direction. A dog was near, and it was besides whatever else was there.

As I got closer my eyes widened. I got closer only to find myself a boy....he looked like he hadn't eaten for day's...he was so skinny and his clothes were all dirty and in bad state.

I immediately checked his pulse....--"He's barely alive..."--
I bit my lower lip, not knowing what to do. Should I bring him back with me? Or should I mind my own business and leave?

--"No, what am I thinking. Leaving him isn't even an option, I can't leave him."-- I then shoock his shoulder trying to see if he even had any consciousness.

--"Am I......am I d-dead?"-- the boy said as he tried his hardest to lift up his face.

--"You're not dead. Here, come with me, I'll help you."-- I told him while taking his hand as I helped him walk.

--"Thank you..."-- he said, with a slight smile.

--"No worries."-- I replied.

He then seemed to look uneasy.

--"What's the matter?"-- I asked him confused.

--"Where's Chibi?....I can't leave him!"-- he said desperately looking around.

I didn't know who he was talking about, the only person there was him.

--"Who's Chibi?"-- I asked confused.

--"He's my dog...he was with me...."-- he replied.

I did see a dog near him....but I don't know where it went....

I then looked far ahead and I saw him. Chibi was sitting inside a small cave up ahead.

--"Hey, I found him!"-- I stated as we both ran towards the little dog. ( Don't ask me where the boy found the energy to run, cuz I don't know. He just did)

We then made small talk. His name was Nagato and he was currently a war orphan just like Yahiko and I....although he's never told me what actually happened to him...that's got me wondering a little.

We arrived at our hideout. Luckily, I was able to buy the stuff I  needed for dinner. But I completely forgot about the fact I didn't consult with Yahiko before telling Nagato that it was ok for him to stay with us......--"What if Yahiko disagrees....I can't do anything since this is his hideout in the first place.... "--

--" What am I supposed to do if that happens!? Ohh and not only that I also happened to bring a dog with me as well.... "-- I thought as I mentally debated myself. Nagato then poked my shoulder.

--" Is everything ok, Konan?"-- he asked with a worrisome expression. It would break my heart if Yahiko rejects him....he's just like us, and no one should be alone at times like these...

I quickly took courage and breathed in deeply. --"Everything's ok."-- I said confident I then opened the door and saw a surprised Yahiko staring a the boy behind me with a frown....

-"Konan? Who are these supposed to be?"-- Yahiko asked me with a firm tone raising an eyebrow....

×Yahiko's POV×

--"What is Konan thinking!? Bringing another guy into my hideout without my approval...."-- I thought while waiting for her answer patiently. She was playing with her hair....something she does when she's really nervous...

--"Well...you see....u-mm this is Nagato. He's a war orphan just like us, I found him in a really bad state and he's really hungry...so I figured I would bring him along....."-- she said not making eye contact. Her eye's were wandering around the room.

--"Well.....I guess he can stay..."-- I muttered, crossing my arms while looking at the ground... I wasn't too convinced this was the best idea but I also think no one should be alone at times like these....

Konan's face lit up, she then tackled me to a hug.

--"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"-- she repeatedly said and gave me a small kiss on my left cheek.

--"Score! She's obviously into me."-- I thought as a proud smile and a slight blush covered my face.

--"Wait a minute.... "-- I said as one of my eyes twitched.

--" What?"-- Konan asked oblivious. Her smile instantly disappeared.

I then took Konan's hand and dragged her to the corner of a room --"You also brought a dog!? That means we gotta feed it toooo!!! And we don't have a lot of money! Kooooonaaaannn"-- I said as I groaned ruffling my hair since I was a bit stressed.

--"Relax...we'll be fine...I've got my ways on making money. "-- she said with a smirk.

--" You've got your ways with making money?...... Nooooo! Noooo! Noooooo! I know what you mean and you're definitely not doing that!"-- I scolded her....what is she thinking.... that's such a bad idea.

--"Why not!? It's not a big deal and I can make a lot in just a day!"-- she insisted.

--"Are you out of your mind!? No way, that's my final answer."-- I stated flicking my finger's on her forehead.

--"But I've already tried it out and I've made more than you have!!!"-- she said bumping my arm and then stood straight with her chin up high as if she were somewhat superior to me...

--"HUH!? WHAT DOES SHE MEAN BY 'I'VE ALREADY TRIED IT OUT'!? This can't be happening......... "-- I was about to loose it right there and then, I didn't even care if there was another boy here I was about to give Konan a piece of my mind.

--"What were you thinking going around prosti--"-- I said but got interrupted by a dark aura surrounding Konan....

--" Don't finish that disgusting word....Yahiko....you of all people should know I was talking about selling origami!!! Not selling myself!!! "-- she said and then punched me in the back of my head....I must admit it hurted like hell but I guess I deserved it since I shouldn't have even thought about Konan doing such action.

--"Aouuu! Sorry, sorry, sorry....I won't ever mention that again...."-- I stated pouting.

--"Hmmmphhh.... I'm going to prepare the food so you two can get to know eachother better."-- Konan said pointing at the red haired kid....I don't remember his name....she then left me with him...

I then put on my best smile and attempted to not say anything stupid.

--"Sup, I'm Yahiko"-- I said greeting him as I sat next to him.

--" I-I'm N-Nagato"-- he answered, stuttering a little.

--"so his name is Nagato...interesting... "-- I thought as I kept an eye on him.

--" What about the dog?"-- I asked curiously pointing at said animal.

--"That's Chibi."-- he replied plainly. As he went up to said dog and patted his head.

I then got closer to them but not too close. --"Does he bite?"-- I asked as I extended my hand slowly so that Chibi could sniff I wasn't any harm.

--"Nope."-- Nagato replied.

I then patted Chibi as well. -"He's trained pretty nicely, since when do you have him?"-- I asked chuckling.

--"Since two day's ago...."-- he said quite sad...I could faintly hear him sob.

--"Damn...I shouldn't have asked....What do I talk about now!?"-- I thought as I patted his back in comfort.

Luckily Konan came to my rescue....

--"Dinners ready! "-- she said with her angelical voice....

--" We'll be right there!"-- I answered as I invited Nagato to come over and eat.

{Minutes Later....}

We had finished eating so we were talking about random things like what were our favorite foods, colors, places to go to and other stuff.

We then slowly fell asleep right where we were.

Sorry for not updating constantly, I've been doing a school project which I hopefully succeed at since I've been working non stop.
