Vaani forgot that the family was standing behind him, and there she began. " Na yaru nu theriyuma ? "

Mithra chuckled, seeing the dosage her brother might get in front of the entire family.

"Sorry, sorry ! Address mari vandhutingala ?" Vaani asked sarcastically while Akash mentally face palmed.

Madhavi paati knew Akash deserved this wrath while Dev and Sapna looked bewildered.

"Inga iruku Coimbatore , Anga iruku Kotagiri ? Pakkanum nu vara teriadhu, " She asked, gesturing her little hands.

"Total damage," Vinodh murmured, leaving Akash to glare.

"28 years back, ponna mari feel agala Sapna ? " Dev looked at Sapna.

Dev reminded his memories to the day when Sapna used to be angry with him for spending most of his time at the office . Before Dev could speak anything, Sapna slightly stomped his leg.

"Veetuku yetha ponnu dhan" Madhavi Paati eyed at Sapna.

Akash was really wondering if something was wrong with her brain  . Oh, he forgot it is Vaani .. she always amuses him with her weird actions.

Hearing his sister speak a little louder than usual , Vinay walked up tovthe door to find the entire family standing in front of his home and to add on to it his sister was yelling at his soon to be brother in law.

Vinay instantly closed her mouth while she looked at him. " Duck uh lusu ah nee anga paru avaru ku pinnadi yaru lam iruka nu ? "

That's when it dawned at her , she widened  her little eyes on the realisation of his entire family being there, and she took him for task in front of everyone.

Embarrassment was written all over Vaani's face that she awkwardly looked at them.

"Vaani ! Avan pannadhu ku enga ellarukum punishment ah ? Ippudiye nika vaika poriya veliya ? " Vinodh tried easing the situation.

She instantly called them inside the room, and without waiting, she ran up the stairs to her room awkwardly while Akash rolled his eyes.

Hearing the commotion Maalz who was in the kitchen , reached the hall . To find them all settled with Vinay came with his dad.

The family greeted each other. Krishnan and Maalz did not know what to speak . In fact, they were having an internal war whether to speak or refrain from that.

"Neenga nanga Royal nu nenachu thaingurinhala ?" Dev decided to break the silence .

Krishnan did not know what to answer .
" Apdi edhavudhu nenaikuringa na ippave marandhurunga " Dev reduced their main tension.

" Akash ku Vaani ah romba puduchuruku " Dev had witnessed the love blooming between the duo couple of times.

"Akash ku matum illa ! Enga family kum " Madhavi paati comforted.

The family started opening a little more at least it was far better than the sound of their breaths that was heard a few moments back.

Akash searched for the pair of eyes , he had come all the way up to. Malini followed Akash's line of sight and understood who he might be looking for when the family was busy into mingling.

"En da un Machan ippudi unna kuru kuru nu pakuren " Vinodh nudged Akash's shoulder.

Akash understood something was running behind Vinay's peanut sized brain. He decided to speak to him later.

When he turned, he found Malini climbing the stairs. He sat like an excited teenager, knowing Malini would get Vaani back.

Back in Vaani's room , she immediately took her bath and changed to some decent clothes . Since she already damaged her image in front of his family.

"Summa ve Sapna aunty ku okay ah nu doubt , ippa ippudi nadandadhuku Tara ve okay nu fix pannalum pannuvanga " her tone was tensed while she was busy tying up her dense hair.

When she was about to leave the room , She found Malini walking towards her room.

"Enna da ? En ivalavu neram varala keela ? "

Vaani later on explained the stunt she had pulled down in detail, making Malini gasp loudly.

"Ana avunga adha pathi onnume pesala." Malini tried comforting the tensed up Vaani.

The duo walked down while Akash admired his Loudspeaker. For the very first time, he had an opportunity to see her dumbstruck.  It's not an easy thing to see Vaani remain silent for more than 10 minutes . That's the maximum she can keep her silence . But to see her behaving silent made him chuckle inwardly.

She sat next to madhavi paati, who hugged her fondly . The sight was enough for Vaani's parents to decide that she would be happy in their presence.

Vaani looked at Sapna and smiled while she just nodded her head , making Vaani even more tensed.

"Apa ivunga engagement pathi pesalame ? " Dev initiated the topic that they had come all the way.

Wait, what ? Vaani was clueless , she did not know they had such ideas to discuss.

"Adhuku munnadi ennaku Vaani kita pesanum," Sapna told with a straight face.

"Unga aatha enna plan panranga ne terilaa Machan." Vinodh rolled his eyes.

But Akash wasn't tensed .Most importantly, he had faith in Vaani most importantly he had faith in there love. He knew she would convince his mother in a jiff.

Vaani became numb , she had to speak to Sapna . All this time she had spoken professionally but now she must open up to his mother.

Malini showed the duo the way toward the terrace. Malini winked at Vaani to calm herself and speak before she got down from the terrace.

Vaani looked like the deer captured in Tiger's cage. Her expression was worth enough to look at.

Sapna's face remained straight , Vaani was wondering if she should start the conversation.

"Idhu varaikum Akash ku enna venumo venamo nu na ketadhu illa , because we believed avanuku adhu pudikum nuSapna spoke.

"Ana modhavati ennaku idhu dhan venum nu avan clear ah sonnan ! Time teva patuchu ellame purinjuka "

Vaani nodded her head when she saw Sapna being soft when she spoke , she has always seen masking the rigid face.

"Insecurity." Sapna turned at her and gave a warm smile.

Before Sapna could speak , Vaani began, " Aunty Vaani eppavum Sapna aga mudiyadhu ! Unga place Akash life la even if I try I wouldn't be able to fulfil. Ennaku adhu la ishtamum illa "

Sapna was trying to process things in her head.

"Avaru ennakaga ungala vitaru na , na poiruven aunty because he is no more the Akash I fell in love with. "

"Ellam amma vum mari ennakum oru bayam." Sapna tried opening her state of mind.

"Na konjam selfish ! Illa ila naraya ve selfish because ennaku Akash matum teva illa , Akash oda irukura ellam sondham venum , anything which he owns I would want it all " Vaani made her point clear.

That's it the assurance, even though Sapna's heart knew she wanted to have a word with Vaani. She knew her son's decision was right when Vaani was firm in her thoughts. She knew how much he loved her because never had he ever let anyone speak in a sarcastic tone to him, but today, she witnessed Vaani . The comfort zone the duo shared was enough to give her the assurance that this is what her family needs.

Sapna's mind was flooded with such thoughts when Vaani's mind smirked. " Sapna aunty yosikuradha patha, it's a no from her side pola."

"Vaai ah vachutu summa irundhiya ? Ippa anubavi " Vaani's mind chuckled at her.

"Idhu lam thandiyum ? Ungaluku idhu okay nu tonnala na I ll back out "  Vaani's voice fell , she spoke even when her heart denied to open up.

Vaani was not in the state of processing Sapna's answer because her mind already assumed it to be a clear NO.

"Akash konjam illa naraya ve workaholic dhan but naalu aadi venalum aduchuko "

Vaani was wondering what she asked and what the reply she was getting back.

"Aduchum avan unkuda time spend pannala na enkita sollu na naalu poduren " Sapna's eyes turned soft.

Vaani still did not understand what she was trying to convey . She realised that this family never conveys things directly.

Sapna walked till the entrance of the steps and turned " Settai panra Vaani Akash ku pudikudho illayo Ennaku pudikum "

Hello Makkale ! Here is the next Chapter of Akash Vaani.

Being in to Audit and to top it of year end issues , I was packed with work . Sincere Apologies to all my extended family out here for the delay in the update.

On a serious note , Akash Vaani has around 3 or 4 chapters to its end ! Hope you guys loved reading their tale.
