Dairoku's Diary
Entry #1

"Well.. After so much training and small little assignments, today was finally the day that we'll get our first true mission. To say I'm excited would be an understatement. I'll finally get some real action and put that damned blonde prince, Najasho in his place. Though... I do have concerns about how Akame will do.. She's the most emotional out of us so this will be a difficult thing for her to stomach.. But, she'll be able to do it... I know she will."

Not far from the village, Rousei, the crimson eyed boy, Dairoku was leaping from tree to tree, his weapon holstered on his back; he had recently gotten a message from Gozuki, calling him and the other Elites back to base. Along the way, he ran into a certain ravenette, however he noticed the drastic change in her clothing, though he decided not to talk about it. It did make him blush lightly, seeing his partner wearing such an unusual attire that actually suited her.

Akame: "Dairoku? You got the message too, right?"

Dairoku: "Of course I did. Let's hurry back." The two continued through the forest, before running to Guy, who was tied upside down, hanging from a tree branch. "The hell...?"

Akame: "What are you doing, Guy?"

Guy: "Ooh, Akame! Dairoku! I got too carried away gambling and didn't have the money to pay, so this is what they did to me." Though there was more to this story than meets the eye... *thoughts* "I can't tell them.. I can't tell them that I went over the time limit at the Brothel and didn't have enough money..."

Dairoku: *annoyed sigh* "As expected from the dumbass... Might as give you the most retarded award and leave you there." Guy looked at him annoyed.

Guy: "Shut up bastard! Anyways could any of you lend me some money...? I want to be freed..."

Akame: "You're always getting into stuff like this..." Dairoku sighed again before snapping his fingers, causing the rope holding Guy to suddenly catch fire.

Guy: "H-Hey asshole! Are you trying to kill me!?"

Dairoku: "Shut up and stop squirming fucker unless you want my flames to burn you alive." The flames quickly burned away at the rope, which disintegrated, freeing Guy. "There. Let's move."

After freeing Guy, the three began sprinting back to base, with Akame and Guy leaping from tree to tree while Dairoku had flames firing out of the his palms, allowing him to fly next to them but he was ahead of Akame by a little bit.

Guy: "Thanks for saving me. I'm going to live a straight life from now on."

Dairoku: "No you're not." Guy let out a "GEH!"and glared at him while the crimson eyed teen rolled his eyes.

Akame: "More importantly, if we don't get back to the hideout soon, we'll be late for our training."

Guy: "By the way, what's with your clothes?"

Akame: "I received them from Martha."

Guy: *grins* "Oh, that lady from the restaurant. She's beautiful and kind, isn't she? Especially beautiful..."

Dairoku: "And you wonder why Cornelia doesn't like you..."

He rolled his eyes, however Guy just ignored him, attempting to look up Akame's skirt which was coming extremely close to revealing what she had on underneath. However, Dairoku and Akame knew he'd try this. The ravenette leaped towards Dairoku and turned around to face Guy. She planted her feet on Dairoku's who pushed with his, sending her flying towards Guy before kicking him in the face.

Guy: "HRRK!"

>Chapter 3: First Blood<

The next day, the Elite gathered in their base in front of Gozuki, who came to them with their first missions.

Gozuki: "All preparations are complete! I'm going to give you your first missions!"

Cornelia: "Papa, that means..."

Gozuki: "Yeah, today's killing isn't just practice. Not some push-over Danger Beasts like Rousei-Monkies. Humans." Some children were excited while others were nervous. Some others, showed no emotion, like Najasho.

Poney: "This day's finally here!"

Guy: "Let's get this show on the road!"

Dairoku: "Tch, finally. I've been growing impatient..." He then began to grin, showing off a fang as an ominous aura surrounded him. "I wonder who will be unfortunate enough to be targeted by me."

Gozuki: "Well, with your skills, none of you should lose to some ordinary people. Just do as you've always done in your training. Besides, you're all equipped with Shingu."

Kuraime: "Shingu?"

Gozuki: "Yeah. That's what the weapons you're all carrying are called. The first Emperor, who founded the Empire, made Forty-Eight weapons called Teigu to protect the Empire. These Ultra-Weapons all use some long-lost secret technique or take their base material from Legendary Danger Beasts. Though before the Teigu, ancient weapons known as Zodiacs said to exist. They say the gods of the world themselves, created these weapons to be used by warriors to keep the peace on in the country and its said the first Emperor researched on one of them before creating the Teigu. However, four hundred years ago, the Emperor at the time wanted to make his own Zodiac and Teigu. He saw it was a shame that no other weapon surpassed those weapons of to past. However... the weapons that he created were nowhere near the level of a Teigu or even a Zodiac for that matter. Those weapons were cynically called, Shingu. The Emperor sealed all the Shingu in shame, even though those weapons were powerful in their own right and there only shortcoming was that they weren't as powerful as Zodiacs and Teigu." He then looked at the team, who held up their weapons. "Those weapons you all are holding are those very Shingu."

Akame: "This is..."

Kuraime: "Wow... No wonder why I felt a slight surge of power when picking it up for the first time..."

Gozuki: "They were taken out of the secret storage of the Empire. Do you understand now? The Shingu, the natural treasures of the empire that were given to you, are testaments to how important and noble your missions are. Take pride! Your work will save this great empire!"

Kuraime: "So, is that a Shingu on your hip, Father?"

Dairoku: "No... I sense unbelievable power coming from that blade... It's a Teigu, isn't it?" He asked, crossing his arms as Gozuki looked at him proudly.

Gozuki: "He's right. This is a Teigu." He said as he held up Murasame and rested it along his shoulders.

Poney: "Haha! That's our father!"

Gozuki: "Right? If you all work hard enough, maybe you will be issued Teigu yourselves."

Akame: "If I may ask, what about Zodiacs?"

Gozuki: "Only Ten have been recorded to exist. Some have been locked away in Temples guarded by numerous Ultra-Class Danger Beasts. Others said to have been missing, such as Yoake or Ketsuekime." The children took a few seconds to process the information before he called out to them. "By the way... If ANY of you fail the first mission... I won't forgive you. This is an important job that brings happiness to the people. If you can't do that, you're not my children."

They all fell silent, staring with slightly pressured expressions while Dairoku and Najasho remained calm.

Gozuki: "I'll have each of you kill a different target. You can't help each other. Open your envelopes by yourselves later. All necessary instructions are written in these envelops." He said as he handed all eight children white envelops.

Cornelia: "What about the time limit?"

Gozuki: "Bring the heads back here by tomorrow morning. They're all evil villains that want to throw this Nation into chaos. Don't feel bad, chopping them into pieces."

Cornelia: "Target confirmed..."

The blonde of the Elite exited a forest, ending up next to a lake where a man with long blond hair appeared in front of her. He quickly turned to face her, holding his sword tightly.

Man: "Don't get any closer! Even if you're a woman, I'll kill you!!!"

Cornelia's thoughts: "He looks a bit like Papa... But this person is a target...! I won't be distracted!!!" She clenched her fists.

Man: "Don't come any closer!!!"

Cornelia ignored his call out and lunged forwards at him, activating her Shingu, which is the gauntlet on her right arm and dealt a powerful punch to him, shattering his sword and puncturing his chest as she grabbed hold of his heart.

Man: "P-Please stop..."

Cornelia: "I'm sorry..." She apologized as she crushed his heart, killing him. Later, she was bathing in the lake with the man's head behind her. *thoughts* I... completed my first mission! I'm glad it was easier than I thought it would be... Everyone else, do your best! You too... Dairoku."

"It grants the user superhuman strength. However, incorrect usage of it will damage its user."

In the thickness of a forest, Green stood on top of a tree branch, inspecting a man who walked past before halting upon spotting a coin on the ground.

Man: Woah! A coin in a place like this-" However, he was cut off from a thick black whip wrapping tightly around his neck. "Whaaat!?"

Green hooked the whip over the tree branch before jumping down and pulling with his all his might, hanging the man and ending his life.

Green: "Sorry, but I don't have the guts to get into a face-to-face death match with someone like you. I had to make it easy."

Sidewinder
Shingu Form: Whip
Wielder: Green

"A Shingu that can move as commanded by its user. However, its unique style makes it difficult to control."

Within an alleyway, two men walked down it, one of them wearing glasses while the other smoked a cigarette. However, both immediately halted upon spotting Poney making a b-line towards them.

Man 1: "A kid...?"

Man 2: "Don't let your guard down..." However, they noticed her speed was... abnormal. "That speed isn't normal..." Just as he said that, Poney kicked his head clean off.

Man 1: "Why you...!" However, he didn't have a chance to retaliate as the auburn haired girl kicked him against his neck before she head butted him hard into the ground, ending him.

Poney: "I was so surprised that I had two targets, but I guess I was worried for nothing! The instructions said, 'Use your head to defeat them' and I did exactly that!" She boasted as she pointed to the bruise mark on her forehead.

(A/N: "Poney... I love you... But god you're a fucking idiot...")

Yocto-Bottoms

"This Shingu increases acceleration and leg strength. However, it doesn't increase them by that much, so the user's strength is still important."

With Najasho, he stood in front around 6 different target with a bored expression.

Target 1: "Hey look, a brat is here!"

Target 2: "We'll kill whoever gets near us!" They all rushed towards him quickly... However...

Najasho: "Father..." In an instant, all six lied on the ground, completely immobile with blood everywhere. Some were even impaled on the rocks. Najasho took his hand kerchief and began whipping the blood from his face. "Did you think about how annoying it would be to bring all their heads back?"

Water Dragon Sword

Wielder: Najasho

"Using its ability will make the user stronger for three minutes, but the user will be severely fatigued afterwards."

Sitting along a board walk was a man who was looking down into the water before he sensed something.

Man: "...Hey. How long do you plan on hiding? Just come out already. I'm not going to sleep tonight." The response he got was a cawing noise. He looked back to be surprised to find a Raven flying out of the bushes. "Huh. Maybe I'm just paranoid..."

Kuraime: "Yeah... Maybe..."

His eyes widened as he turned around, only to find no one. However ,he turned his attention to the raven, who flew behind a tree before disappearing. He was confused as ever, before a chill went down his spine, as a Scythe's blade curved around his neck.

Man: "W-What!?" Standing behind him was Kuraime, with Raven feathers falling down her body.

Kuraime: "Oyasumi." She yanked her scythe, completely decapitating the man as her eyes showed no emotion at all for him.

Man: "You're still... so young..." were his final words as his head hit the boardwalk.

Kizushinrel

"With each slash the user deals, they will be healed for a percentage of the damage they dealt, effectively making them able to go on even when injured. However, too much usage will lead to the user feeling heavily fatigued and muscles spasm."

A carriage drove though a valley, housing about four people inside before suddenly, a fiery bullet was fired into the driver's head, causing the horses to get break lose and run away while the carriage came to a halt. The occupants, being three men and one woman stepped out.

Woman: "An ambush!?"

Man 1: "Show yourselves!" Catching them by surprise however, was a black and red blade stabbing the ground in the center of them before it suddenly erupted in flames, burning them all alive and turning them into charred limp bodies. From above, Dairoku landed in the middle of the fire, gripping his blade tightly.

Dairoku: "That was too easy... *sigh* How boring..."

Prometheus Harbinger
Shingu Form: Gun-blade (can transform between sword and gun)
Wielder: Dairoku

"In gun form, this Shingu can shoot arched, reflected and other types of bullets. However, repeated usage will reduce its accuracy, so knowing when to use it is critical. In sword mode, it functions as a backup weapon when its gun form's accuracy is down. It's extremely sharp and can increase the user's five senses for a while. However, after the effect is over, the user will suffer from mind-splitting headaches."

Back at the base, Gozuki, sat in his chair, drinking from a bottle of whisky as he thought about his 'children'.

Gozuki: "So no one is back yet, huh... Well, Guy's target is sharp and cunning. Green is facing a muscle-for-brains... They were all given targets that should give them trouble. Especially Akame... On top of being too kind, you don't adore me like Poney does... I'll have to test you mentally."

Within a dark corner, the said Ravenette was crouched down, looking at her instructions before her eyes widened when she saw who her target was.

Akame: "My target is... Martha...!?"
