(A/N: "Kawaii Sheele!!")

(3rd Person POV)

With a pan filled with in her hands and a small basket containing some cloth looped onto her right hand, Akame entered her room, which contained the still unconscious Dairoku. It only had been a day since the battle with Zanku and Dairoku won and obtained his Teigu. However, because Zanku managed to drag out the fight for quiet a bit, Dairoku's life force had been depleted to around 40%. Akame was tasked with taking care of him and that is what she was doing currently.

She dipped a cloth into the pan filled with water before squeezing out all of the excess water; after which, she gently placed it on the Vampire's forehead and began to wipe it off. As she did this, her expression showed great worry for him, every minute she was praying within her mind that he would just wake up. She even was wearing the necklace outside of her shirt for luck. And, today, her wish came true.

Dairoku: "Ugh......" 

The groan caused her to gasp as she looked at him, only for her eyes to widen upon seeing the Harbinger slowly awakening, his eyes flashing a deep red for a second before calming down.

Akame: "Dairoku!"

Dairoku: "Huh...?"  He looked over, to see the red-eyed girl looking at him, with relief.  "Oh... Hey Strawberry." 

He said with a small smile, causing the ravenette to smile at him softly and hug him, bringing his head into her chest. After a short while, she released him, allowing him to at least sit up, revealing him to be topless, most likely due to Akame's work; there was a bandage wrapped around the cut on his left arm. The One Cut Killer blushed lightly from seeing his bare chest, though she seen it multiple times, so it should be second nature to her......

'SHOULD.'

Akame: "How are you feeling?"

Dairoku: "Umm..."  He rubbed his head a little.  "My head hurts slightly, but other than that, I feel fine."  Akame released a sigh of relief, most likely thanking the gods in her mind that nothing was seriously wrong with him.

Akame: "Well, that's to be expected, considering you nearly expended all of your Life force when fighting Zanku. But you should be fine now, I transferred some of my blood to you so you would have enough energy to wake up."

Dairoku: "Okay then... Also, how exactly did you transfer your blood to me? I couldn't have known to drink while unconscious."

Akame: "Oh. I had to transfer it to you via mouth to mouth."

Dairoku: "Oh..."

(A/N: "In 3... 2... 1...")

Dairoku: "WAIT!!! WHAT!?!? You KISSED me!?!?"  He snapped toward her, blushing a shade of red that could do battle with her eyes.

Akame: "T-There was no other way... And we don't have any other methods here..."  She blushed and looked away

Dairoku: "O-Oh... I see... Well... Thank you for helping me... Akame."  He calmed down a little bit. Even though she was blushing heavily, Akame smiled softly at him.

Akame: "Of course."

Lubbock: "Hmmm... I'm wondering if it's really smart to put Sheele-San in charge of Tatsumi" 

Currently, Najenda, Lubbock, Leone, Akame and Dairoku were in the meeting room of the Hideout. This day, Tatsumi was working under Sheele, the precious airhead.

Najenda: "He'll be fine. I think they'll get along fine together." Najenda casually commented, taking a bite out of an apple.

Lubbock: "What make you say that?"

Najenda: "It's good for Tatsumi to have a more experienced teacher."

Leone: "I've got dibs on using Tatsumi next!"

Najenda: "And see? She also has talent."

Lubbock: "What the hell!? That's so unfair!!!!" 

Then all of a sudden, he turned his glare to Dairoku, who was sipping on some orange juice.

Dairoku: "Huh? What?"

Lubbock: "Don't 'huh? What?' ME!"  he suddenly zipped up to him, catching him by surprise but he just kept drinking his drink.  "You broke the Bro Code dude! Kissing Akame!? I mean, come on!"

Immediately, Dairoku's eyes widened as he spit out his orange juice all over Lubbock's face and looked at him, blushing madly.

Dairoku: "W-WHAT!?!?"  He glanced back at Akame, who also looked shocked, but was blushing as well before looking away.  "W-Wait! That didn't happen!"

Lubbock: "Oh really!? Cause my ears don't deceive me from this morning!"

Dairoku: "YOU WERE EAVESDROPPING ON US!?!?"  Lubbock looked away, pouting before suddenly Dairoku grabbed him by the ear and began to pull on it.

Lubbock: "OWWW!!!! DUDE-" 

He cut himself off upon seeing that scary wicked grin of Dairoku... 

Dairoku: "Lubbock... Remember that saying I taught you?"

Lubbock: "U-Um... I SAW AND HEARD NOTHING! I'M JUST A RETARDED PERVERT!"

Dairoku: "Good."

He flicked his finger at his forehead, causing the green haired teen to fall over.

Lubbock: "GAH!"

Najenda: "Anyways... To an Assassin, more experience means a better killer."  ...... There was just a dead silence...... "What do you think? I said something cool, didn't I?"

(A/N: "BOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!")

Najenda: "I guess not...?"

Dairoku: "Please. Stop it. Get some help."  He deadpanned at her, causing her to pout in his direction. Akame smiled and shook her head however, before biting down on a leg. Dairoku looked at her, deadpanning.  "You should eat fruit instead, seriously..."

Akame: "No."

Dairoku: "Akame, how many fucking times to I have to tell you, an all meat diet isn't good for-"

Akame: "No."

Dairoku: "Geez... you and Kuraime are the same damn thing...... Fine. Don't come crying to me when you get a heart attack then."

CHAPTER 5: KILL THE FANTASY

(Akame's POV)

Several days later after Sheele had finished training Tatsumi, we all gathered in the meeting room to discuss about Tatsumi having a Teigu of his own. Unfortunately for him, we couldn't get him a Zodiac, as judging from what Dairoku and Kuraime told us about them, they're extremely rare and the temples the rest are located in are extremely heavily plagued with powerful Danger Beasts. And add to the fact that the temples are extremely well hidden and could take months or years of scouting just to find one.

Najenda: "Tatsumi, your wounds are pretty much healed right? The Teigu from Zanku... I want you to try it."  The boss told him as she held out the Teigu, which was a silver headband with a green eye that was closed.

Dairoku: "Almighty Five Sights—Spectator."

Current Wielder: No one.

"Spectator has been confirmed to have five different abilities related to sight:

• Insight—Allows the user to read their opponent's mind, thereby predicting their next move. However, the user must be in peek physical condition in order to make use of this advantage.

• Farsight—Allows the user to see things clearly, no matter the condition. It also allows for the user to have long-ranged vision.

• Clearsight—Allows the user to see through solid objects, like clothing. Most often used to look for any secret weapons the user's opponent may have on them.

• Foresight—By seeing the smallest muscle movements, the user can see exactly what their opponent will do next.

• Illusion Sight—It casts an illusion that brings forth the target's most precious person before their very eyes."

Tatsumi: "Really!? No one else wants it?!"

Bulat: "It's one Teigu or Zodiac per person."

Lubbock: "Because it takes considerable mental and physical strength to control them."  Tatsumi took Spectator with a gleeful expression before attaching it to his forehead.

Najenda: "There was nothing besides its name in the book, but it's a Teigu after all, so I'm curious to see what it does..."  The boss said as Kuraime began to walk up to Tatsumi.

Dairoku: "It's said Spectator has five abilities that relates to sight, though I don't know about all of them."

Kuraime: "Well, it can read minds, cause an illusion and read muscle movements to predict attacks right? Try reading my mind, Tatsumi."  She suggested, so the two faced each other intensely.

Tatsumi: "You..."  .........  "WANT TO EAT MEAT TONIGHT!"

Kuraime: "Oh! It's perfect!"

Leone: "No... He still hasn't activated yet..."

Mine: "I don't want him reading my mind. If it really has five abilities, try another one."  She said, crossing her arms.

(3rd Person POV)

Tatsumi sends a quiet 'Tch, Whiners' towards Mine's direction before settling on another ability.

Tatsumi: "Fine."  He sat down on the ground, on his knees and closed his eyes before concentrating.

Tatsumi's thoughts: "The last power I don't know about......" After thinking for a while......  "Activate!"

A surge of power went through his body before he opened his eyes... only to see...

(What Tatsumi sees Kuraime wearing)

(A/N: "Sooo...... Is that Teigu for sale?")

Mine: "Well? What do you see?"  She asked him as Tatsumi just freaked out internally. However, little did the girls know he was seeing them in their underwear......  "What's wrong?"  Mine asked getting in front of him...

Tatsumi's thoughts: "This... What is this fantastic ability!? Teigus are so fucking awesome!!!"

*BONK!*

Tatsumi: "OWWWW!!!!"  He held my head in pain as a large bump grew from it. He quickly spun around and shouted,  "WHAT THE HELL-"  but he cut myself off upon he seeing Dairoku giving him one of his infamous death glares, a demonic aura surrounding him... 

Tatsumi: "O-Oh... right... Ahem... Should I try another ability...?"

Dairoku: "You better..."

However, bed he even had the chance to however, his eyes suddenly widened as he began to hurl a bit.

Tatsumi's thoughts: "Huh...?"

Dairoku: "It's rejecting him! Take it off now!" he shouted as Kuraime ran over to Tatsumi and pried Spectator off his forehead.

Najenda: "It's the compatibility... It seems this Teigu isn't suited for you."  she sighed before Kuraime tossed Spectator over to her.

Mine: "You were thinking about how uncool it looked or something, weren't you? The user's first impression of the Teigu is important you know?"

Kuraime: "Same goes for Zodiacs." 

Najenda took a look at Spectator, which was now in her hand before saying,

Najenda: "This will need to be sent to the revolutionary army HQ then. It'll need to be analyzed so it can become a part of our fighting force."

Akame: "While we are an assassination team, collecting the lost Teigu is one of our Sub-Missions, and the same goes for the Zodiacs. When we run into enemies who possess any of them, like Zanku did, we take them. Even the weakest of them are invaluable."

Tatsumi: "The more we have, the stronger the army becomes or something, right?"

Najenda: "Correct. You should read this book of the known Teigu." 

She handed him a decently sized hand book, which housed the information about the known Teigu, such as Extase, Lionelle, Murasame and Pumpkin.

Tatsumi: "Wow... so many... And this is just a small portion of them, right?"

Najenda: "The ones in this book are only the Teigu we know about."

Tatsumi: "What about the Zodiacs?"

Dairoku: "I have a book that contains them, but it contains much less than that Teigu book."  He tossed a book to Tatsumi, which was much thinner than the Teigu book Najenda gave him.

Tatsumi: "Woah... talk about thin..."  he said in surprise

Kuraime: "That book only contains 10 Zodiacs to go with them. There hasn't been any word of the other Zodiacs, so these are all we got to work with."

Tatsumi opened the book revealing its contents to contain the current 10 Zodiacs, such as Ketsuekime with Ajax and Yoake with Barbatos.

Najenda: "That just shows how rare the Zodiacs are."

Tatsumi: "Speaking of, which Teigu is the strongest?"

Najenda: "Their use and compatibility change, but if I had to say... The Ice Manipulation Teigu..."

Dairoku: "Demon God Manifestation: Demon's Extract..."

Najenda: "That's right. Luckily for us, its wielder is currently busy conquering the northern tribes."

Lubbock:"Because the people for the north are very strong. They even have their own hero." Lubbock added.

Tatsumi: "Oh! Even I know about him!"

(A/N: "Legit, no one gives a fuck who this guy is...")

Tatsumi: "But there's no reason to worry yet. Even with that woman, it'll take at least a year or two to take the north"

Najenda: "Yeah."

Tatsumi: "What about the Zodiacs? Which would you say is the strongest?"  He asked as he turned to Dairoku:

Dairoku: "Well... It's not a debate as everyone whose seen it in action claims it to be the strongest."

Sheele: "Which one is it?"  she asked, tilting her head to one side.

Dairoku: "Heart of the Tundra—Absolute Zero..."

Najenda: "Oh... I heard about that one..."

Tatsumi: "Absolute Zero... Like an ice cannon?"

Dairoku: "Yeah. But it does so much more. Absolute Zero fires off an ice beam that freezes the target, but that's not all it does. It brings the targets temperature to Absolute Zero or 0 Kelvin. Meaning, it destroys every singe the atom in that target, effectively freezing it inside out and killing it with just one blast. The Target becomes a fragile ice sculpture that will shatter from the slightest of movements."

Kuraime: "Nothing is safe from Absolute Zero's ice beam, not even Armors like Incursio or Barbatos."

Everyone from Night Raid horrified expressions from everyone except for Najenda, who took a puff from her cigarette.

Dairoku: "But of course, it's not without its drawbacks. It takes time to charge the ice beam to the maximum and after it's fired, it will be overheated and the wielder will have to wait the next 24 hours after they fired it, to fire it again."

Kuraime: "And luckily, Absolute Zero is said to be locked away in a temple that's guarded heavily by Danger Beasts. No one has been to that temple, ever since it was locked away."

That seemed to ease them a bit. However, soon after, Tatsumi began to get strangely... happy...

Tatsumi: "The stronger the enemy, the better! We're collecting more and more Teigu and Zodiacs after all."

Leone: "You're suddenly cheerful, huh? Why is that all of a sudden"

Tatsumi:  "Well, the world is filled with Teigu and Zodiacs that have unknown abilities right?"  Dairoku nodded...  "The reason I'm so lively is this! Having seen just these abilities... Maybe... just maybe... There may be a Teigu or Zodiac that has the ability to bring people back from the dead!"

*DEAD SILENCE*

Everyone gained grim looks as Tatsumi continued to excitedly talk... but Dairoku quickly put an end to that...

Dairoku: "Tatsumi... No Teigu nor Zodiac possess that powerful of an ability..." 

The expression the naïve village boy had looked as if his entire world just shattered...

Tatsumi: "Wh... Wh-What do you mean...? Y-You're lying..."

Dairoku: "I'm not... No Teigu or Zodiac has that ability..."

Tatsumi: *angry* "No... NO! YOU HAVE TO BE MESSING WITH ME! HOW COULD YOU KNOW THAT!?"

Dairoku: "I don't... But Barbatos knows... She's existed before the Teigu and when they were created, not a single one could bring anyone back from the dead... Besides... If there was, the first emperor would still be ruling..."

Tatsumi: "No... If that's the case, what about you!? You can cure diseases thanks to Barbatos right?? Can't you bring people back????"  His voice was starting to get more angrier and desperate...

Dairoku: "No... I cannot..."

Tatsumi: "No... YOU'RE LYING!"

Dairoku: "Tatsumi..."

Tatsumi: "YOU CAN DO THAT CAN'T YOU!? IF BARBATOS IS SUPPOSE TO BE SO STRONG, CAN'T YOU BRING BACK THE DEAD!? CAN'T YOU BRING BACK MY FRIENDS!? YOU CLEARLY CAN SINCE BOTH YOU AND KURAIME ARE STANDING HERE RIGHT NOW WHEN YOU BOTH SHOULD BE DEAD!!"

At this moment... Something finally snapped within Dairoku...

Dairoku: "YOU DON'T THINK I TRIED ALREADY!?"  a dark aura surrounded me as he approached, Tatsumi, my hands bleeding from how tightly I clenched them.  "That I tried to bring back the dead!? If I could, I would have brought back YOUR friends the moment they died! If I could, I would have brought back the THOUSANDS INNOCENT PEOPLE I KILLED AND APOLOGIZED TO ALL OF THEM!"

Akame: "Dairoku..."

"If I could bring people back, I WOULD HAVE BROUGHT THEM ALL BACK!"

Akame: "Dairoku..."

Dairoku: "NAJASHO, GUY, PONEY, GREEN, NATALA, GIN, CORNELIA, I WOULD HAVE BROUGHT THEM ALL BACK! THEY WOULD ALL BE STANDING RIGHT FUCKING NEXT TO ME RIGHT NOW!!! EVEN THE MY SISTER I COULDN'T SAVE BECAUSE I WAS TOO WEAK, TSUKUSHI WOULD BE RIGHT HERE WITH ME!!!"

There was just complete silence after his outburst... Tears were streaming down my eyes as he glared at a shocked Tatsumi... His aura disappeared as I took a look around me, to see my teammates all equally shocked... But Akame and Kuraime dawned saddened expressions, knowing exactly who those people were...

Dairoku: "You... have no idea... how it feels... to have a Beast that was created by God himself, living inside me... but not be able to save lives... Cornelia would be right here... by my side... but she isn't... and never will be until I eventually join her and all of the others... in the heavens above... Tatsumi... Life and Death are a part of a delicate balance... and that balance has to be maintained... no matter how much we hate it... Barbatos' words... not mine..."

With nothing left to said Dairoku quickly transformed into a swarm of Hell-Bats and flew out of the hideout, to cool off... No one tried to stop him... Not even Kuraime or Akame...

(Dairoku's POV)

I sat on the hill in front of the Hideout and looked up to the moon, which shined a bright silver color... The sky was vacant of stars, and the wind blew gently, almost in a comforting way.

. . .

"I love you... Onii-San!"

. . .

Then, I sensed someone approaching...

Dairoku: *sigh* "Look, Akame... Or Kuraime... I don't want to be bothered right now... Please just leave me be..."

???: "Dairoku...?"  that was a different voice... I turned around and saw... Sheele...

Dairoku: "Oh... Hey Sheele... Where's Akame and Kuraime?"

Sheele: "They went to bed... I'm sorry it was me, instead of them..."

Dairoku: "No... You're good..."

Sheele: "You still haven't come back inside since you left..."

Dairoku: "Sorry... I just... wanted to catch some fresh air to cool off..."  There was a brief silence for a while before I spoke up again...  "You... must think I'm weak... huh...?"

Sheele: "What...?"

Dairoku: "Seeing the all powerful Harbinger, in such a pitiful state... You know... I haven't *sniffle* cried... like now, for a long time... After I lost Cornelia... Then after I watched Kuraime die for the first time, death... just became so numb to me... It turned me into a killing machine, who was on the verge of becoming a psychopath... I was void of all emotion... Until I obtained Yoake..."  ... Tears began to fall from my eyes again as I hiccupped and my voice cracked...  "I thought... with how powerful Barbatos was... I... I thought I could bring them back... Heh... imagine how devastated I was when I couldn't do jack shit..."

Sheele: "Dairoku..." 

Suddenly, I felt a warmth behind me... I looked behind me, only to see... Sheele hugging me... with a gentle smile...

Dairoku: "Wha... What are you...?"

Sheele: "You've suffered for so long, Dairoku... But... it's okay to cry every once in a while... Crying doesn't make us weak... it makes us who we are... It makes us Human... And you're the most human person I know, Dairoku..."

Dairoku: "Sheele..."

Sheele: "Shhh... I may not be Akame or Kuraime... but, I want nothing more than for you to have someone to turn to, when you need to cry... So please... Let me be that person, this once... Let me be your big sister, here..."

This girl... She's... she's reminds me of Cornelia on a way... That little light of hope that shines brightly in the darkness... Though unlike Cornelia, who I fell in love with, I can see Sheele... as more of a Big Sister...

Dairoku: "Big Sis... Thank you..."

I immediately turned around and embraced her back tightly... She returned it... without hesitation... I couldn't believe it... I... had gained... a loving Big Sister... while with Night Raid...

(Sheele's POV)

Sheele: "Shhh... I may not be Akame or Kuraime... but, I want nothing more than for you to have someone to turn to, when you need to cry... So please... Let me be that person, this once... Let me be your big sister, here..."

Dairoku: "Big Sis... Thank you..." He immediately turned around and embraced me tightly... I returned it without hesitation...

Dairoku... I should be thanking you... Because thanks to you, I've found another reason to be useful...

And that reason is... To be your Big Sister... I love you, little brother...
