Najenda and the rest of Night Raid, minus Chelsea and Mira, rendezvoused with the Revolutionary Army's spy team immediately upon entering Kyoroch ant they began to formulate a plan to assassinate the religious sect counselor, Borick, a spy for the Minister. The appearance of the Jaegers was troublesome, but it was something they could have predicted. But the one thing that the Revolutionary army didn't predict... was The Five Kouken Temple Rakshasa Demons.

Lubbock was sprinting away in an alleyway from the duo of Mez and Sten, with a slightly panicked expression as he glanced back at them, who were easily keeping up with him.

Lubbock's thoughts: "Shit!! They suddenly attacked me! How did they see through me!?" Though, a crack of Mez's left arm sounded before...

Mez: "And GO!!" She announced as she thrusts her arm forwards, causing it to suddenly extend like it was elastic and jab Lubbock right in his back, causing him to gag and spit out blood before he fell over, completely limp. Mez seemed a bit confused and slightly surprised as she felt his neck for a pulse, only to be taken aback when there was none. "This guy's heart's already stopped. How weak!"

CHAPTER 28: KILL THE DEMON PART 2

In the outskirts of Kyoroch in a more canyon-like area, Mine and Tatsumi stat on two logs, overlooking the town after their little 'date'.

Tatsumi: "Whew, we sure went to a lot of places."

Mine: "But it's a really fun and diverse place, isn't it. When everything's done, I'd like to enjoy myself shopping here." Tatsumi just began sweating a bit.

Tatsumi: "You take long to shot, so that'll probably take days."

Mine: "Huh? That's a pretty normal amount. A man who can't pardon a woman's shopping? How Shallow." The green eyed young assassin whoever, fired back with,

Tatsumi: "A woman who immediately teases about a guy being shallow, huh? How Shallow." The pink haired assassin, didn't like this response and a full blown argument broke out between the two, as usual.

Mine: "Bring it on! Determine the pecking order here, shall we!? You're impertinent!"

Tatsumi: "You should realize that you're wrong the moment that you imply a pecking order exists despite us working together in this organization!"

???: "Please do not engage in sour arguments..." The two assassins stopped their belittling and looked in front of them to see a group of people, with a priest in front of them.

Tatsumi and Mine: "Huh?"

Priest: "Excuse me, that was rather intrusive of me. I spoke without thinking."

Mine: "Are you perhaps the founder of..."

Tatsumi: "The Path of Peace...?"

Priest: "Yes. I check up on the outskirts of town like this every now and then." Tatsumi scanned the group in front of him for any signs of Borick, however, he was nowhere to be found, which was expected. "I can see it clearly. You two are bound by the Red Thread of Fate. So instead of fighting, you should profess your love."

Tatsumi and Mine: "Huh..?"

Priest: "If you became a couple, I would say that fighting once in a while would be fine. Like that red eyed couple I ran into earlier, nothing it seemed could bring them apart and even when they have a slight disagreement, they still love each other deeply."

(A/N: "Red Eyed couple... Hmmm... I think we know who he's talking about...")

Tatsumi and Mine: "HUH?"

Picking off from the last time, Akame, Kuraime, Dairoku and Levi had a standoff with the two Jaegers, Run and Lauren, who both hovered above them.

Lauren: "Alright. It may be a 2v4 but we can pull this off Run..." She glanced back at the blonde, who smiled a bit at her.

Run: "Right. Let's go."

With that, Lauren moved in front of him as she dived towards the quartet of assassins, with Run immediately launching his feathers at them. Before Lauren could make full contact, Kuraime blitzed up to her, grabbing her with her >Raven Blitz< and pulled her away from Dairoku and Akame.

Lauren: "Ah... how lovely..." She mumbled as she came to a screeching halt while being surrounded by Kuraime and Levi. "Well this unfair as fuck. I can't get hit by either of you cause either I get a permanent wound or I die. Well, I do like challenges." She said, smiling a bit as she got into a stance. Kuraime and Levi just eyed each other before they both rushed in simultaneously.

Run: "I'll be making this a one-sided attack."

He said with a slight smile as he stared down Akame and Dairoku, before launching multiple feathers at them. Dairoku however, created a wall of flames that disintegrated all incoming feathers as he pulled his girlfriend down.

Dairoku: "You're not the only one who can attack at range!"

He converted Yoake into its ranged form and began firing multiple flaming bolts at the winged Jaeger, who dodged out of the way while continuing his feather barrage. The vampire looked to his mate, who nodded. Dairoku came out from his cover and dashed away from Run's attack as he continued firing fiery bolts while avoiding Run's feather barrage before he quickly reverted Yoake to its sword form and slashed the feathers into pieces.

Run's thoughts: "The feathers are lacking power because we are too far apart. Then I shall descend slightly" He descended a bit as he fired more feathers at the vampire, who only got into a stance as flames burst from Yoake's blade. "Close. If I get a bit closer..."

However, he felt an unsettling presence behind him. When he turned around, he was shocked to find that Akame had ascended the building behind him and was leaping down to him, ready to strike him down with Murasame. He only managed to block with Mastema's wings and back away as the red-eyed killed landed next to her mate.

Run's thoughts: "I see... He was baiting me to get lower so she'd have a chance to strike me... As expected of a killer. They are able to remain calm, even in a situation like this. What should I do in this situation... Confident that I can finish at least one of them if I get close and use my Ace in the Hole while Lauren can handle one of her opponents... But if I do that, I'll fall into a Teigu and Zodiac battle distance where I can be hit by either of their attacks."

He looked over to his partner, Lauren, who narrowly dodged a swing of Ketsuekime from Kuraime who immediately dashed out of the way for Levi to strike with Ventus. The female Jaeger dashed away, leaping into the air before throwing Rerumukattā at them, with the blue spirit energy coating both boomerangs, accelerating their flight speed. The violet-eyed killer and ninja however, managed to dodge or reflect them respectively. Seeing that neither of them were getting anywhere, Run came to a conclusion.

Run: "Lauren! We're retreating!" He said as he began to fly away. She looked up at him, before sighing and sheathing Rerumukattā on her back before her Bale wings sprouted from her back and she flew after him. Kuraime and Levi quickly regrouped with Akame and Dairoku.

Akame: "So they ran."

Dairoku: "Smart decision. They were outnumbered."

Kuraime: "How calm they were, despite the situation they were in..."

Levi: "Almost too calm..." As she said this, some malicious chuckling could be heard coming from the forest behind them. When they turned around, they spotted the Rakshasa Demon, Ibara, with a sadistic grin on his face while he held two objects that dripped blood.

Ibara: "For a killer to let her enemies who saw her get away... What a disgrace. That's quite pitiful. I'll play with you instead, Akameee~ Kuraimeee~"

Kuraime and Akame: "Ibara...!"

Dairoku: "Tch... A Rakshasa Demon?? In Kyoroch?" However he didn't come alone as a black object launched towards the assassins. Noticing it, Dairoku blocked it with Yoake as the others looked behind them, only to be surprise to find a girl with long blonde pig tails standing there with a grin and her hand on her hip. "Hmph... I should have thought you'd also be here, Lieselotte Sherlock, but attacking our blindside, that's low even for a witch like you."

Lieselotte: "Hehehe, but you do know I'm the type of person to act once I have the chance, Dairoku-Kun~" She licked her lips a bit and smiled at him as some purple sigils formed around her, but she was surprised to see that they were slashed to bits. "Huh?"

Levi: "Don't forget about the rest of us, Liese" She said with her signature smirk and with her flexing Ventus a bit as the witch looked at her and giggled.

Lieselotte: "Of course! How could I forget about you three, Akame-Chan, Kuraime-Chan and the ninja, Levi. Seems like we got the heavy hitters here with us."

Akame's thoughts: "I had thought that we would fight The Five Rakshasa Demons during the Minister's assassination... during the final battles..."

Ibara: "Hehehe, for the bad girls who betrayed the Empire, it's time for a spanking.

Dairoku: "Yeah no. Keep your hands away from their asses you creep." He got in front of Akame and Kuraime with a serious glare before he specifically pointed at Akame. "Her ass is mine and mine alone!"

Akame: *blushes* "E-Eh!?" Levi could be heard laughing her ass off as Dairoku just shrugged at her.

Dairoku: "Well, it's true."

Lieselotte: "Oohh, so you two are actually together?? Hehe congratulations~!"

Ibara: "How cute~" However, the moment he dropped the two objects in his hands, it was revealed to be the heads of the two spies. Spotting them, the ravenettes' eyes widened before they glared darkly at Ibara before rushing right past Dairoku at full speed towards him, with Kuraime bursting into violet energy as she transformed into her Ajax armor.

Akame: "Eliminate!!"

Kuraime: "Oyasumi!!"

Ibara: "Just try it!!" He yelled with a grin as he extended his Fingernails like how Mez did with her arm, to impale the two ravenettes, who dodged out of the way before attempting to make a strike on his abdomen. Unfortunately, his body bent out of the way like it was made out of clay, catching them both off guard. As he giggled, he thrusts his chest out, causing hundreds of needles to fire out, barely missing Akame and Kuraime who jumped back to dodge them.

Dairoku: "Tch..." He was about to provide them with his assistance, only for Lieselotte to appear in front of him and send a kick towards him. He managed to block it, though he was sent skidding back.

Lieselotte: "Sorry, Dairoku-Kun, but I believe you owe me a date since the last time we met, hmm~?"

Dairoku: "Heh... How could I have forgotten? Well let me make it up to you." He said with a slight smirk as he got into a stance. Lieselotte smirked back as she took out the charm she had earlier and threw it up into the air, where it transformed into what looked like a modern tablet PC which she caught in her hand before it began floating in front of her. "Levi... That tablet..."

Levi: "Yeah... She has a Zodiac too..."

Catalyst of Chronokinesis-Gleipnir
Zodiac Form: Tablet PC (When Activated)
Wielder: Lieselotte Sherlock

"Gleipnir stores any information the user obtains or steals, including Magic. Not only that, but it, as the name suggests, is the catalyst for the wielder's Chronokinetic abilities and magic, essentially turning them into a Mage or Witch. This Zodiac, like Excalibur does NOT have a Zodiac-Armor to accompany it."

Levi: "Dai-Kun." She said as she put a ninja scroll in her mouth and burst into teal wind energy as she transformed into the armor of Srivatsa

Dairoku: "Right, let's go." He gripped Yoake tightly as he bursts into flames, transforming into the armor of Barbatos.

"Vengeful Dragon: Balance Breaker!"

Lieselotte: "Heh... This looks like fun. Show me what the Death's Harbinger and Strongest Ninja can do!"

Levi: "Here I go!" She blitzed forwards, immediately catching Lieselotte by surprise as she disappeared to avoid a blade strike to her face.

Lieselotte: "Oh my... Your speed is definitely something. I'll have to be careful." She grinned as she appeared behind Levi, only barely dodged a blade thrust from the vampire king who rushed at her. She backed away to dodge the attacks, but he kept coming at her non-stop. "Oh..? You're not giving me room to even breath huh?"

Dairoku: "Of course not cause the second we do, you'll analyze us"

He said as he send a round house kick towards her, though she blocked it with Gleipnir only for her to be pushed back a bit. But as expected, the attacks weren't over as suddenly, a bunch of sharp threads surrounded her, threatening to cut her if she moved at Levi grinned underneath her helmet.

Levi: "And we can't have that. >Ninja Technique: Shadow Thread Binds<. Gotta thank Lub for the threads, heh."

Lieselotte: "Oh..~ Seems like I've fallen for your trap! However... >Chrono Calculation<" She chanted as she suddenly disappeared and warped right onto the building's roof. "You forget I still can use my spells so long as I can still speak~"

With Akame and Kuraime, they glared daggers at Ibara as he flexed his strangely modified body with his signature crazy grin.

Ibara: "Heh heh heh. Due to we five Rakshasa Demons undergoing intense training, and growing up tasting the broth of the Lake Kraken that lives in the mountains behind our temple... We can control our bodies however we want. I can avoid those ominous weapons. And I can even do stuff like thissss." He grinned before throwing an onslaught of rapid jabs with his elastic arms, forcing the two ravenettes to block with their arms, all the while he was shouting. "Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey Hey!!!"

Letting out a grunt of frustration and slight pain, the female assassins were in a bit of a predicament, with their uniforms tearing more and more with each strike they take. He was even managing to break through some of Kuraime's Ajax armor which was an extremely impressive feat.

Ibara: "HAHAHAHAHA!!! HOW'S THAT!?" He boasted before the ravenettes took the chance to strike him, only for him to catch both attack while avoiding being cut. "I said we went through some intense training, didn't I!? Aaaand...!" He yanked Murasame and Ketsuekime from their hands. "Your Teigu and Zodiac are confiscated!!"

However, immediately after taking hold of the demonic weapons, they began letting off dangerously threatening blackened aura. It was evident that the infamous one cut killers were not fond of the Rakshasa Demon as they began rejecting him, with demonic spikes protruding out of Ketsuekime's shaft and stabbing his arm.

Ibara: "Gah! W-What's with these damned...!?"

Immediately, Akame landed on his shoulders as she squeezed his head in between her thighs and twisted his head in a 180 while Kuraime slid under his legs before sending an upwards kick to his left arm. The bladed protruded on her armored knee surged in a violet energy, acting like a blade that completely severed his arm, freeing Ketsuekime and Murasame.

Ibara: "No way... You both were aiming for this... And you let go of your Teigu and Zodiac on purpose..."

Akame: "You called Murasame and Ketsuekime 'Ominous'." She said as she picked up the former, resting it on her shoulder with her left hand on her hip while Kuraime picked up the latter and twirled it a bit.

Kuraime: "So, it was pretty obvious that you wouldn't be compatible with either of them." It seemed that answer didn't sit well with Ibara as he had become enraged.

Ibara: "HOW DARE YOU, YOU LITTLE-!!" However, he was quickly put out of his misery with swift strikes from both of the ravenettes, cutting him into pieces literally.

Kuraime: "The Cursed Blade and Cursed Scythe, didn't take a liking to you."

Akame: "Perhaps you should consider yourself lucky... Ibara."

Ibara: "Heh... You both sure are dangerous women... I might just fall for the two of you... Hehehe..." were his final words as he fell limp and finally lost all conscience.

Akame: "Hmph... Sorry, but I'm happily taken." She said, before she sighed and winced a bit in pain as she held her right shoulder, only for her attention to be taken by a thud next to her. She looked at Kuraime, to find her on knees, with her Ajax armor deactivating and her holding onto Ketsuekime as she panted heavily. "Kuraime..!"

Kuraime: "Don't worry... I'm just tired.. and Hungry.." She said with a slight giggle as she looked up at her scarlet-eyed partner who sighed in slight relief before she giggled.

Akame: "Me too.."

Lieselotte: "Huh? So Ibara hit the dust huh?" She said as she dodged a strike from Dairoku followed by some rapid slashes from Levi. "Well, seems like I'm done here. Let's continue this some other time. Adieu~" She blew a kiss towards them as she disappeared

Dairoku sighed as he and Levi's armors deactivated before they regrouped with the ravenettes.

Dairoku: "You girls good?" He asked as Akame helped up the violet-eyed assassin with her nodding with a smile.

Kuraime: "We are."

Levi: "Welp, that was interesting." She said as she stretched a bit, while moaning. "Never thought we'd run into both the Jaegers and Rakshasa Demons. Liese really hasn't changed heh... Wonder how Selina's doing then." She rested her hands behind her head.

Akame: "I hope everyone's okay."

Dairoku: "They'll be, Strawberry." He said as he kissed her head before looking off into the sky. But then...

Akame: "So... My ass is 'yours' mm...?"  Hearing that from her, causing the vampire to freeze up and slowly looked at her, to see her giving a closed eyed smile which sent unsettling chills down his spine.

Levi: "Ooo.. This'll be interesting"  she grined

Dairoku: "U-Uh... I wasn't really thinking in the heat of the moment.." 

He backed away a bit, rubbing the back of his head. Though when Akame walked up to him, he froze again. He was expecting to get slapped or something worse... But, what he didn't expect was for her to grab his hands and put them on her ass, letting him squeeze it a bit and forcing a slight blush from the vampire who looked at her. She was a playful smirk on her face, though there was a small blush coating her face.

Akame: "Well, you are right about that.. However, you'll have to earn this ass. Got that, darling~?"

Dairoku: "G-Got it.."

He was completely taken aback though the sounds of Kuraime and Levi laughing triggered for the scarlet-eyed ravenette to start giggling. Eventually, he took began letting out small chuckles.

>>Back with Lubbock<<

Sten: "...Mez... Sure is late..." He mumbled impatiently as he stood next to the unconscious Lubbock, his arms crossed.

Lubbock's thoughts: "No not 'sure is late...' you dam geezer! You hurry up and leave, too! Just how long am I supposed to play dead!? I blocked the blow with string armor that I had wrapped around my body and as for my pulse I put crow steel into my body and bound my blood vessels. If I came to a fight, then there's a chance that the Jaegers would arrive as well. This isn't a joke. I'd like to sneak by like this at all costs."

Though as he was trying to forge a plan of escape in his mind, a revolutionary girl spy was bolting down the alleyway towards him and Sten, with Mez in hot pursuit.

Mez: "Here, Sten, she's coming your way. I'll give you the prey this time!"

Spy: "Eek!" She yelped as she came to a screeching halt in front of Sten, who towered over her with a grin. Now that she was surrounded by both Rakshasa Demons, she had nowhere to run.

Lubbock's thoughts: "I guess that's a girl from the spy team... These guys are making this place their hunting ground because it's an alleyway with no one else around. I'm sorry, but I can't help you. As long as you're a spy... you should've been prepared for this to happen."

Sten: "You must be another lost child, wandering this transient world." He grinned madly as he inched towards her closer.

Spy: "W-What?"

Sten: "I shall free that soul of yours. Be happy..." He grabbed her by the neck and lifted her up before he slowly began to choke the life out of her as she struggled to free herself.

Spy: "P-Please... Help..."

As if her plea was heard, a dagger flew straight at Sten's back, though he managed to catch it in between his fingers as he looked surprised to see that Lubbock was standing, completely unharmed.

Lubbock: "Ahh, I can't do it after all. I can't just watch a girl ally of mine die."

Sten: "You..." He dropped the girl.

Mez: "Huuuuuhh, sure fooled me! So you were alive. You're so stupid! You should've just kept playing dead."

Lubbock: "You see..." He closed his eyes as he brushed his hair back a bit. "Thinking of my position... I had been doing my utmost to avoid a head-to-head battle. But... *grins* If I've got to fight seriously, then I'll go at it with everything I've got!" He got into a stance as Cross Tail's threads surrounded him. "Come at me, both of you!!!"
