(3rd Person POV)

Najenda: "Eight People... So all of the Jaegers have moved out."

Night Raid had moved out, planning to wage war against the Jaegers to take them out of the picture. So on a cliff, Najenda sat on a chair with a bird perched on her arm and a note in her mechanical arm.

Najenda's thoughts: "...Considering Esdeath's movement speed even if they had information on our path, they should be here at around noon tomorrow. Alright!" She stood up as the bird flew away, before she turned to face Akame, Dairoku, Mine and Kuraime, who were all in their swimming gear.

(A/N: "Dairoku is wearing the same thing he did in Chapter 3)

Najenda: "I received information from the Revolutionary Army's spies. You guys, nonchalantly attract attention, as we planned.

Dairoku, Akame, Mine and Kuraime: "Roger!"

CHAPTER 22: KILL THE JAEGERS PART 1

(3rd Person POV)

Lubbock: "Weelll!" The green haired assassin watched with perverted eyes as he watched Leone, Chelsea and Levi in their swimsuits playing in the water. "It sure is nice to be able to see the girls in their swimsuits, in a place like this."

Tatsumi: "Stop drooling over them, this is a part of the plan too."

Lubbock: "Huh!? Are you stupid!? Are you a homo!?"

Tatsumi: "No I'm not!! But you know what Dairoku will do when he catches you looking at them!"

Lubbock: "BRUH! Dairoku ain't down here, man! Let me live for fuck sakes!"

Tatsumi: "Fine. It's your funeral."

Leone: "Tatsumi!" He yelped lightly as he looked over to his right, to see the three girls in question, lookin at him while posing and with suggestive smiles on their faces. "Out of Chelsea, Levi and Me, whose swimsuit do you like better~?"

Chelsea: "Ohhh, I'd like to hear the answer to that~."

Levi: "Better choose wisely, Tatsumi~."

Leone: "Now~"

Chelsea "Which is it~?"

They all moved up closer to him, their breasts coming extremely close to his face as he tried finding a way out.

Tatsumi: "I... I, well, uh..." But thankfully, Susanoo in his swimming trunks walked up next to them. "Wow, as expected of Suu! You're tight!"

Susanoo: "Hm?"

Leone: "Aww he dodged the question."

Lubbock: "Why didn't you ask me!? I would have given you an honest, non-bias critique and said all three are amazing and beautiful; I just wanna touch em' and squeeze em' forever! WHY DIDN'T YOU ASK ME!?!?"

Leone: "Because we already knew what you would say, dumbass."

Levi: "Oh don't worry, Lub." He stopped whining and looked at the ninja, who had already got extremely close to him, caressing his cheek with a smirk. "Because... I still care about your opinion~" Immediately, blood shot out of his nose and he fell over, as Leone burst out into laughter.

Leone: "AHAHA!! AMAZING LEVI!!" Levi giggled and crossed her arms as she looked down at the love struck pervert.

Levi: "Though... I did mean it."

Mira: "Such impurity... ugh." She scoffed as her and Saber walked over to the group, both wearing their swimsuits as well.

Levi: "You're just embarrassed about your swimsuit Mira." She teased, causing her to blush and look away. But then, Levi suddenly appeared behind Saber and grabbed both of her large breasts. "Oh damn...! These definitely compete with Kuraime's...!"

Saber: *blushing* "L-Levi... please... that's enough...!"

Mira: "LEVI-SAN!!"

As the chaos ensued below, the assassins up top, Mine was looking over the cliff, annoyed that she couldn't be down there with the others yet.

Mine: "The people in the team whose faces aren't known are pretty noisy... But Damnit! I wish I could've played a lot more!" Akame and Dairoku were sitting further back together, but Kuraime was standing behind her, gripping her left arm in complete silence. "Huh? What's wrong, Kuraime?"

Kuraime: "Huh...? Oh... Nothing..."

Mine: "You're thinking about your sister... right?"

Kuraime: "...Yeah... Dairoku told me how she was after I 'died'... She depressed... stopped eating... wouldn't leave the room we shared... But when I went to visit her, she was so happy... She was the happiest I ever seen her... But now... we're adversaries... she wants to kill me... I just..." She ended up sighing as she looked down a somber silence. Mine saw this and walked over to her before sitting next to her.

Mine: "Even if your sister dies... Don't you say you're all alone, even if you say it by accident. You have us. You should be grateful." Kuraime looked at her, slightly surprised but smiled a little.

Kuraime: "Yeah..."

With Akame and Dairoku, the two were taking a bit of a stroll through the forest behind the others, in a nice, quiet and peaceful silence. Though despite this, he could feel the conflict coming from his scarlet eyed girlfriend. He stopped and looked at her.

Dairoku: "You're thinking about Kurome too... huh?" Akame wasn't even surprised from the question as she knew he was thinking about her as well.

Akame: "Yeah..." Hearing the somberness in her voice, was truly heartbreaking for the Vampire to hear. Akame already held many burdens deep within her heart, and this was one of them. The ravenette was surprised to find her lover hugging her.

Dairoku: "Akame... I love you. I love you deeply. And I love Kurome too, I don't know if I'm a brotherly way or in a romantic way. We both know that so long as she keeps taking those drugs, her will won't waver. She will try to kill you, and if she sees me, me too. But no matter the outcome... even if she dies... I will always be by your side, to share the burdens with you."

Akame: "Daiku..."

She felt her eyes burning from tears, but instead of fighting them, she decided to take all of her frustration out here and now. So she kissed him, smashed her lips against his. He was slightly taken by surprise, but he returned the gesture. The ravenette was certainly more aggressive in this kiss, gripping his shoulders tightly as she pushed him down and leaned him against a tree before straddling his lap. The kiss was so passionate and steamy to the point their hands roamed up and down their bodies. From the need for air, the two pulled away, a line of saliva connecting their tongues together as their hot breaths mixed with the air.

Dairoku: "Akame..."

Akame: "I... just wanted to release some stress there... But, thank you, Daiku... for being there for me. We'll share the burdens together." She said with a sweet smile, triggering the vampire to smile back.

Dairoku: "Of course Strawberry."

The Jaegers, Wave, Kurome, Akaruime and Bols rode down a canyon on their horses, towards where they were told half of the Night Raiders were located.

Bols: "So our opponents are the capital's strongest, Night Raid... I wonder if someone like me can win..."

Wave: "It'll be alright. When I fought against someone from Night Raid, the first guy didn't fight back, but he in terms of skill, I felt that he was about even with me. As for that girl... Kuraime... we were quite equal, but her speed alone did give me a hard time."

Akaruime: "Well that's big sis for you."

Wave: "But if we work together, we'll definitely win! You're Teigu's suited for fight crowds, Bols, so in fact, it's heartening to be with you!"

Bols: "I wonder..."

Kurome: "You're saying cool things like that, but I feel like you're going to be the one holding us back the most, Wave." She said smirking as Akaruime began to giggle.

Wave: "WHAAAT!?!? Are you saying you can't trust in my ability!?"

Akaruime: "That's basically right, yeah. You have a tend to be weak when we really need you, hehe."

Wave: "Well you know, if I equip Grand Chariot!!"

Kurome: "Then show us how strong you are."

Wave: "Ohh!! Bring it on!!!"

Bols: "No fighting, please!" Their bickering and trekking came to halt as they spotted something that looked like a scarecrow in the center of the road.

Wave: "Hey, there's something in front of us. A Scarecrow?"

Bols: "You're right! It's suspicious to the point of there's no wa it could be more suspicious!"

Wave: "I'll be bad if it's a trap. Let's take care and look at it." They all un-mounted off of their horses, though unknown to them, a certain Pink Haired Sniper was watching from a far right through her scope.

Mine's thoughts: "Targets sighted! Looking at the numbers, Esdeath split her group and went east after the Boss herself! Just as planned!" She was grinning as she scanned all four of the Jaegers, but when her sights landed on Kurome and Akaruime, she gasped upon seeing the heavy resemblance to the elder sisters. "...They really are similar... as expected from being sisters..." She actually felt hesitant, but from seeing how sad Kuraime was previously, she regained her resolve. "That's why... I don't want Kuraime or Akame to have to do this. I'll take care of them! I'll at least take out Kurome quickly with one shot and get Akaruime on her blindside!"

Upon pulling the trigger, Pumpkin unleashed is now pink spiritual energy, thanks to Pridwen in a concentrated shock, aimed solely for Kurome's head, but she gasped a little as Akaruime slashed the blast in half, making it miss her completely. However, it managed to graze the green eyed assassin's right shoulder, drawing a bit of blood.

Akaruime: "Tch..."

Kurome: "Akaruime!"

Akaruime: "I'm fine!"

Mine's thoughts: "That Akaruime completely destroyed it!? What was that superhuman reaction just now!?"

With the signal of Pumpkin's shot, the Scarecrow burst open, revealing Susanoo and Saber, who dashed specifically towards Kurome and Akaruime.

Wave: "Kurome! Akaruime! Watch out!!" He immediately got in front of the two, blocking the attacks from hitting the two ravenettes before he was launched away by the sheer strength of Susanoo and Saber combined.

Bols: "Wave!!!"

Najenda: "We failed on the sniping, but we blew away one... And it wasn't the one who was a target. This is good."

Her mechanical arm rattled like a snake as Bols realized the trap. All of Night Raid, minus Chelsea, were standing before them; Dairoku, Mira and Levi had on their Zodiac-Armors while Tatsumi had on Incursio.

Bols: "Night Raid...? And this is all of them? So the east was a complete fake."

Najenda: "Kurome, Akaruime and Bols. Even within the Jaegers, you three are priority targets. Prepare yourselves."

Bols: "Priority targets..." Everyone glanced towards the masked man, who looked gloomy. "Because I've burned countless people... I feel that nothing can be done about it if I'm targeted by assassins... But, I WILL NOT DIE!!!" He yelled determined, aiming Rubicante towards the assassination group.

In the meanwhile, Akame, Kuraime, Kurome and Akaruime faced each other, in silence with the two younger sisters smiling.

Kurome: "Sis."

Akame: "Kurome..."

Kurome: *smiling happily* "I've really been wanting to see you. Thank god." As for the other sisters on the other hand...

Akaruime: "Hey sis. It's been a while, huh."

Kuraime: "Akaruime... It has... You've gotten stronger from what I can tell."

Akaruime: "Of course I did, so that when we see each other again, I won't fail again." She then held up her scythe, Himitsume and hugged it while smiling sweetly. "Himi and I got along really well. I can even use her Trump card now! Isn't that great? With how close we are now, I can have you by my side infinitely." Kuraime just remained quiet as she got ready with Ketsuekime, however, she didn't activate Ajax just yet.

Kurome: "If I cut you down sis, I can add you to Yatsufusa's collection."

She grinned as she unsheathed her blade, with Akame doing the same with Murasame. The two partners crossed their weapons and pointed them to the sky before a blackened ball of energy hovered above them before striking the ground as multiple black lightning bolts.

March of the Dead—Yatsufusa

"Yatsufusa is a blade-type Teigu that is able to control a maximum of eight corpses of those whom it has killed. The user could also manipulate the skills and abilities the reanimated corpses had in life. However, the more puppets out at a time, the more strain the user will feel."

Devourer of Souls—Himitsume
Zodiac Type: Scythe
Wielder: Akaruime

"Himitsume is also known as the elder sister of Yatsufusa, due to it being created before it. Like its Teigu successor, Himitsume is able to control a maximum of, unlike Yatsufusa, six corpses of those who it has killed and the user is able to manipulate the skills and abilities the reanimated corpses had in life. However, unlike Yatsufusa, Himitsume does more. Himitsume, as its title suggests, is able to fully consume the souls it's collected to empower its strikes significantly and empower its corpses to make them stronger but they don't learn new abilities. If it consumes 10 souls, Himitsume unlocks its Hidden Ability. There is a reason as to why most of the people who tried to use it in the past, ended up with their minds shattered from how terrifying this Zodiac is, even more so than Yatsufusa."

The ground shook violently and cracks formed within it as Yatsufusa and Himitsume's power surged through it.

Tatsumi: "...Wha... What is this?! An Earthquake!?"

Dairoku: "No... Yatsufusa and Himitsume are..."

From behind Kurome and Akaruime, multiple corpses rose up along with something massive bursting from the ground.

Kurome: "Unlike from before, if it's a dead body..."

Akaruime: "We're become able to make anything a puppet." The massive skeleton offered their palms to their masters, who both sat on them and were being rose up into the air. What had been summoned, were two massive Skeleton Dragon-like danger beasts.

Kurome and Akaruime: "Even if it's the Ultra-Class Danger Beasts, Destaghoul and Fafnir."

Najenda's thoughts: "It was a gamble as to whether Esdeath would split her forces into two. But I see, if Yatsufusa and Himitsume's this powerful, a little trap doesn't mean anything!"

Despite the odds, Night Raid would not back down, not for a second. Destaghoul and Fafnir roared loudly, while they held their queens within their palms and Night Raid got ready to do battle.

Akaruime: "Now then, the Teigu and Zodiac battle is starting."

Kurome: "I wonder how many are going to die?"

Akaruime: "Want to take bets, my dear friend?"

Kurome: "I don't see why not, dear friend."
