(A/N: "God Damn... Those thighs...")

(Dairoku's POV)

So, after our meeting, we were grouped up to take out any of those super intelligent Danger Beasts at night. Akame and I had already returned, taking out the Danger Beasts from our sector and reported to Najenda. Well, Chelsea and Levi were the only ones not sent out to do this. Instead, they were sent into the capital to assassinate a target.

Right now, Akame and I were in our bedroom. She had decided to go to the hot springs to take a bath and when she came back, she was changing into her regular outfit; since we've stayed in the same room for quite a while, we've gotten used to seeing each other in our underwear. Though she still blushes a bit if I'm shirtless, but I find it cute.

So currently, Akame was just in her bra with her skirt already on while I rested on the bed, though I would steal some glances at her... FYI... She's really... really sexy... Like, I don't think I can keep control of myself if I stare at her long enough, sexy...

Akame: "Boop." I was surprised to feel a finger boop my nose as a weight landed on me. It was the girl I was in love with, smiling at me and she was sitting on top of me. She had finished putting back on her uniform, but her tie was undone and it her shirt was unbuttoned, still revealing her white bra. "You seem to be fantasizing about something."

Dairoku: "Ah damn, I've been caught fantasizing about my sexy girlfriend." She blushed but giggled lightly, causing me to chuckle a bit. Then I released a calm breath. "Night Raid's back in the Capital."

Akame: "Yeah. Means we're back in action."

Dairoku: "But it also means, we'll encounter Kurome and Akaruime soon." She frowned and looked down.

Akame: "I know... But I'm ready for my sister... Kuraime's ready for hers too."

Dairoku: "I know that. But, what you told me before... about Kurome having feelings for me..." I looked off to the side as I noticed Akame falling silent. I looked back at her, only for her to speak up. But what she said, slightly surprised me.

Akame: "I... I know I said I wouldn't mind sharing you with her, so long as it makes her happy..." She seemed really hesitant and struggling to say what she wanted to. "But... part of me just wants you for myself. Is that... selfish? Am I being a bad big sister?"

Dairoku: "Akame..." I made her look at me by caressing her soft and smooth cheek. "You're not a bad big sister. Even though you two have your differences, even if you two are currently adversaries, you're still doing everything in your power to ensure your sister's happiness despite all of that. And it's not selfish to want something or... in this case, someone. It's being human. If you truly believe you're alright with this, then I'll follow your wishes" She let loose a small smile at me and ran her fingers through my hair

Akame: "You just reminded me why I fell for you, Daiku."

I released a chuckled before I was silenced by my red eyed ravenette gently pressing her lips against mine. I caressed her cheek as our passionate embrace slowly began to turn into a... slightly heated make out, making this our second one. Okay... it wasn't slightly... it was VERY heated... Akame had her hands rubbing along my chest while mine went up and down her sides. Her tongue licked against my lips, clearly telling me that she wanted access to my mouth, so I allowed her. Our tongues danced around one another within our mouths as be began to roll on the double bed. Eventually, it ended up with me on top and with Akame moaning softly into the kiss while one of my hands rested on one of her breasts. Her fingers ran through my hair as we were getting more and more intimate with each other. However, when we pulled away for air, a knock on the door caught our attention.

Saber: "Master. Akame." It was Saber. "Najenda is calling for a meeting. Tatsumi and Lubbock had returned with some information that she wants you all to be there for."

Akame and I were silent for a while, blushing heavily at how close we came to actually doing it. I got off her, allowing her to sit up and button up her shirt and fix her tie while I addressed Saber.

Dairoku: "R-Right. We'll be there." I heard her footsteps get farther as I sighed. "That was close..."

Akame: "Too close... But next time we're alone and have free time, we're not getting interrupted." She seemed determined and honestly, I can hear the slight annoyance in her tone... Well damn......

CHAPTER 21: KILL THE RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATION

(3rd Person POV)

The corruption of the empire continues... The Head of the Pubic Finance, Gebaze was sitting in his chair, looking out of the window of his mansion, a smug grin on his face as he looked down on the homeless people of the capital.

Gebaze: "Livestock... Livestock. Live stock! Alcohol bought with the tax money of the citizens sure is delicious. Perhaps I'll pocket a little more starting next month."

Maid: "Master, it's time for your massage." She said as she entered the room, to which Gebaze perked up.

Gebaze: "Ohhh!! Today I'll have a refreshing full-body massage course!"

However, as he waited, something began to come into view in front of him, almost as if fading into existence, though his eyes were closed so he didn't see it. At the same time, the made pulled out an needle from her mouth before she stabbed it into the side of his neck while the thing in front of him, which turned out to be Levi coming out of her cloak, stabbing him directly in his chest with one of her Ventus blades, before he fell limp and his breathing stopped completely.

Chelsea: "The job is done." She said as her disguise disappeared, though she was still wearing the maid costume. "Just what kind of massage course did he want anyways?"

Levi: "Probably the type none of us wants to witness. But eh, not our problem." Suddenly, rapid footsteps began to approach the room, alerting the two assassins.

Chelsea: "Sounds from the first floor!?"

Levi: "Crap! Hide!" Coming burst through the door was the trio of Wave, Kurome and Akaruime.

Wave: "We're the Jaegers! We have information that Night Raid is coming to this house! Due to this being an emergency, we're entering!" However... no one was in the room, taking him slightly by surprise...

Akaruime: "Wave." He looked over to the green eyed reaper, who was pointing to the lone chair the room, where Gebaze's dead body was.

Kurome: "We were too late..."

Wave: "Damnit..."

>>With Night Raid<<

Levi: "Phew! Talk about a close call!" She sighed as she plopped down onto the couch. "Apparently, it was a trap, cause that Jaeger guy was saying that they knew we were about to attack."

Chelsea: "Tch... that was too close..." She sighed as steam rose from her coffee mug.

Mine: "For you two to be save in that situation, you two sure are tough..."

Chelsea: "Well the guy owned two or three pet cats. I pulled through by transforming into one."

Levi: "And I made it out by masking by cloaking in the darkest corner of the room.

Mine: "...If it was me, it would have been difficult getting out..." She mumbled as she looked down, entering a thinking pose. "It's infuriating to say, but that Teigu and Zodiac-Armor are rather useful..."

Chelsea: "A pretty difficult situation for someone whose face is known like you, Mine. You can leave it all up to me and Levi for now on."

Levi: "Yep! You can count on it!" She grinned with a thumbs up

Mine: "Chelsea... Levi..." She looked rather shocked from their surprisingly and slightly comforting tone... until...

Chelsea: "So watch over the hideout while Levi and I are gone, substitute." Immediately, Levi began whistling and Ninja vanished (Literally), not wanting to be a part of this while Mine... well...

Mine: "YOU'RE SO INSULTING TO YOUR COMRADES!! AS A PERSON, I CAN'T FORGIVE YOU!!!"

Chelsea: "Ahahahaha!" She laughed as she was being chased around by Mine. Tatsumi though, just felt a huge amount of irony coming from the pink haired sniper...

Tatsumi: "Even thought you said more or less the same thing to me, Dairoku and Kuraime before......"

Kuraime: "Well, with this incident... I think it's safe to assume the Jaegers are directly targeting us now." She said, her fingers pinching her chin as Akame nodded.

Akame: "Hm. It'll be bad if this continues."

Dairoku: "Yup. And since they exterminated all of the new Species of Danger Beasts..."

Leone: "... The only thing remaining for them to get rid of, is Night Raid."

Mira: *sigh* "This is really troublesome..."

Leone: "I guess we'll have to give them Tatsumi, who was vacationing on an island in the south, and have them leave us alone." She teased, causing Tatsumi to spit out his coffee and for Kuraime to snap her head towards her.

Kuraime: "NO!"

Tatsumi: "LIKE I SAID, I WAS PULLED IN AGAINST MY OWN WILL!!!"

Lubbock: "Being on a southern island alone with a beautiful woman... It's not like I'm really jealous or anything." He began to speak as he was fixing up Najenda's coffee. "But then why not just desert her? It's her, after all. It's not like anyone's jealous."

Mira: "For some reason, I'm thinking otherwise..." She deadpanned as she saw tears running down Lubbock's face.

Lubbock: "No... really...!"

Leone: "Wipe your tears, Lub."

Dairoku sighed and shook his head before he noticed his ravenette partner smiling at her friends being themselves. That sight, made him smile as well and wrap his arm around her shoulder. The Scarlet eyed girl looked up at him, smiling before she leaned her head against him.

Najenda: "She's been tenacious for as long as I've known her." She along with Saber had entered the room. Najenda had come out of the shower and was wearing black jeans and a short black tank top that exposed a lot of her belly and there was a white towel around her shoulders. "She probably would've gotten back on her own power if you had left her. So it's better to clear up all debts, and be able to use your full strength to fight her when you meet her as an enemy."

Saber on the other hand, was wearing a much more casual outfit; a white sweat shirt with a navy blue skirt, black tights, brown boots and a navy blue scarf around her neck.

Tatsumi: "For as long as you've known her... Speaking of which, boss how old are you?" Dairoku's eyes widened the moment he asked that while Lubbock looked like he was about to freak out.

Najenda: "I'm in my mid-twenties while Esdeath is slightly younger."

Tatsumi: "Boss, you're that young!? That's so unexpected!!"

*BONK X5*

But that was definitely expected... Tatsumi lied on the ground, his face bruised up completely while Kuraime crouched around next to him, sweating a bit as she poked him.

Kuraime: "Poke... Poke..."

Najenda: "We're having an important meeting after we eat! Don't drink too much, everyone."

Levi: "Welp, that happened!" She commented as she popped back into existence.

Akame: "It's rude to talk about a woman's age Tatsumi..."

Tatsumi: "You're one to talk! Weren't you the one talking about Neesan's weight before?"

Akame: "Hm? What're you talking about?" Dairoku nearly toppled over from her saying that.

Dairoku: "Babe... You're such a bad liar..."

Akame: "What do you mean?" She asked as she gave him her normal derpy eyes.

Dairoku: "Exactly my point proven......"

As Kuraime was tending to Tatsumi, helping him up, Susanoo came into the room, holding a plate filled with food.

Susanoo: "The food is done." Immediately Kuraime smiled brightly and abandoned Tatsumi, dropping him and running over to the Human Teigu.

Tatsumi: "Ow!"

Saber: "Excellent timing, Susanoo! We must consume this to regreain our full fighting strength." She sounded all formal and knightly... but she was clearly drooling.

Dairoku: "God... you really are a Glutton, Saber..." Surprisngly, a tick of anger appeared on her face as she blushed and glared at him.

Saber: "Just because you're my Master, doesn't mean I can possibly ignore what you just said!" She yelled, waving her hands in the air in a really cartoony manor which took everyone by surprise, even Susanoo.

(A/N: "Fate reference!")

Dairoku: "Ahaha... Oh dear..." He sweat dropped as he chuckled slightly.

>>Later<<

After their meal, Night Raid had gathered in the Meeting room to discuss their next objectives.

Najenda: "The subject this time is the religion that is being spread throughout the citizens called The Path of Peace."

Levi: "Oh... That one..."

Chelsea: "That religion that says that doing good deeds contributes to happiness and longevity, huh."

Tatsumi: "Ah, that came to my village as well! That Statue of God that the village head gave to me when we left was from that religion."

Kuraime: "The one you used to survive Akame on that night?" She asked, to which the village boy nodded in confirmation.

Najenda: "Over the past ten years, the Path of Peace has been increasing their adherents, and they've become quiet influential on the eastern side of the Empire. Soon, this Path of Peace will start an armed uprising... That is, a religious insurrection... We are going to use it for our own purposes." Upon hearing that, Tatsumi's eyes widened as he quickly stopped her statement.

Tatsumi: "W-Wait just a second! If an insurrection like that happens, just how many citizens are going to die!?" Everyone entered a dangerous silence, knowing full well that people will die if this path is taken... "Rather, isn't it better if we move to stop something like that!?"

Najenda: "The corrupt politicians of the empire have tormented the citizens for too long... Even if we prevent the Path of Peace's uprising, the citizens' anger would explode somewhere else. This country has just come this close to its end." She said seriously. Tatsumi was shocked to hear this, before hearing what the vampire king had to say.

Dairoku: "Tatsumi... We're killers, not superheroes. We can't save everyone, and if there's no other option, we have to consider extreme measures, if it means coming one step closer to creating a better country. Right?" He looked to his girlfriend, who nodded seriously but somberly, knowing exactly what he was referring to—the night he sacrificed himself to that they could kill Gozuki and so Akame could escape...

Tatsumi: "I see..." His optimism clearly was brought down from hearing that from the two of them, causing him to grit his teeth, while Chelsea... surprisingly watched him.

Chelsea: "Well, it's better to listen until the end."

Lubbock: "You remember what I said before about the Ban Tribe Revolt and the Hero from the North, right?"

Tatsumi: "They're both revolts that were suppressed by Esdeath, right?"

Lubbock: "I think their mistakes were opposing the Empire all by themselves. The Empire is still incredibly powerful..." Mira continued for him.

Mira: "Exactly. After a while, the Path of Peace's insurrection would be suppressed as well, with large amounts of blood being shed in the end."

Najenda: "And with that, it's finally the Revolutionary Army's turn." She said as she slammed her Mechanical arm on the map in front of her. "The moment the path of peace begins their armed uprising, we'll have an allied Tribe in the west begin an attack. With this, the Empire will have enemies both within and from outside. But they can probably withstand even this. Then as a clincher, the Revolutionary Army will begin a revolt on the south side. They will advance towards the Capital and overthrow the Empire."

Tatsumi: "I see... So it's a three-pronged attack..." Everyone gathered around the table and map, with Leone and Tatsumi sitting down on the chairs.

Najenda: "The Empire is underestimating the Revolutionary Army. Since they're gathering the Pus of the Revolutionary Members all in one place, you could even say we're grateful to them. The starting point is the frontier of the Empire. To get to the Capital from there, they'll need to cut through several forts and castles. But we've already arranged betrayals by the crown princes of several of the castles. Since there were many cases where those who were taking their jobs seriously we're demoted, it was a simple matter to convince them. They'll be surprised. Since the Revolution will go about repeated bloodless capitulations and advance towards the capital at a frightening speed. But even then, the Trump Card of the Empire, Budo and his Imperial Guard will most likely move to intercept. However this means, that the palace's security will drop sharply."

Dairoku: "Heh... And with security that thin, that will be the perfect opportunity to send that fat bastard straight to hell!" He grinned, slightly maniacally showing off one of his fangs as Yoake glowed ominously once he held it up. Akame however, had a determined and serious expression as she held up Murasame.

Akame: "Exactly. We'll storm the Palace and eliminate The Minister. We will break the empire from the inside-out!"

(A/N: "Best girl being a badass")

Kuraime: "Good. He needs to die, especially for having my sister be Brainwashed..." She said darkly and vengefully as Akame too gained a dark and vengeful expression, for Kurome. Lubbock began grinning as he shrugged his shoulders.

Lubbock: "Well, sly bastards like that seem like they'll get away at the end though." However, Leone began cracking her knuckles.

Leone: "We won't let anything like that happen. He's the main culprit. He'll have to die, without fail." She said darkly and with clear venom in her tone.

Levi: "And let's not forget, we also have our Trump Card." She said smirking at Mine, who's silver left arm band turned into Absolute Zero, who seemed to have been ready to fire whenever

Najenda: "In return for the western tribe's help, we've agreed to restore their original territory."

Tatsumi: "Restore?"

Mine: "Originally, part of the western region of the Empire belonged to the tribes." She said, causing us to look at her, only to see her gripping her right arm tightly as a saddened expression appeared on her face. "Recovering that land is their dearest wish..." Tatsumi had remembered that Mine is a half descendant from the western tribes, so he began looking at her with a look of pity. Kuraime walked over to her and placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

Najenda: "If the Empire collapses and the bad laws disappear, the anger of the citizens will also abate. If we continue to move things swiftly towards the sinking of the capital, there probably won't be too much bloodshed." She looked at Tatsumi, smiling a bit. "Satisfied, Tatsumi?"

Tatsumi: "Yeah. Sorry for getting so hung up partway through."

Susanoo: "If the plans have been made, then all there is left to do is to execute, but... The reason as to why we can't do that yet must be connected to the job this time." Najenda stared at her Teigu in shock before getting really excited, much to Lubbock's dismay.

Najenda: "That's exactly it, Susanoo! As one would expect from my Teigu!" then she got serious again... "The Path of Peace is the key to everything, but at the moment, there seems to be some commotion going on within. Borick's goal is to seize the Path of Peace and stop the armed uprising from happening. He plans to eventually kill the Lord, and make him into a true god, and stand at the peek himself."

Tatsumi: "Isn't there any way you could pass the information to them and prevent that?"

Najenda: "There's a group within that sides with Borick, and they have a great deal of influence. And they'll have the backing of the empire too."

Chelsea: "This is the most repulsive part about the Minister. He doesn't even try to suppress the outer parts and instead tries to seize the inner workings."

Najenda: "And this is the mission this time." She pointed to a particular X on the map as Saber suddenly piped up, seeing where this was going.

Saber: "Then we will go to the Headquarters of the Path of Peace and remove Borick from the picture."

Najenda: "Exactly. And we have information that he mixes drugs into the food of a small percentages of adherents. Once they're addicted, the fiend uses them as loyal play toys."

Saber: "So there is no need to hold back against them." Lubbock and Susanoo suddenly began to grit their teeth as their anger rose up.

Lubbock: "He's probably alternating through women, playing around with them..."

Susanoo: "To put drugs in food is nothing if not an insult to food..."

Lubbock and Susanoo: "I'LL NEVER FORGIVE HIM!" The two shouted in anger before they looked at each other, while Najenda deadpanned.

Najenda: "You two... aren't you a little off on what to be angry about...?" This time, it was Leone's time to speak, and she looked angry and her tone displayed vengeance...

Leone: "If we leave them alone, then more and more adherents will be addicted huh...? Well we'll have to put a stop to that."

Mira: "Pronto. This impure man needs to be dealt heavy justice immediately!" She stated, pushing up her glasses a bit.

Najenda: "Lastly, about the Jaegers..." Dairoku immediately noticed Akame and Kuraime's faces darken up.

Saber: "If I am told correctly, they are currently trying to hunt us down with all of their strength."

Levi: "Yup. That incident with me and Chelsea completely confirmed it."

Najenda: "If we keep ending up behind them, at this rate, we'll surly be caught."

Chelsea: "And when they actually stepped in, it would've been bad without Mine and Levi's abilities."

Kuraime: "Especially with their Teigu and Zodiacs."

Najenda: "So this time, I propose that we lure them outside the capital, and then wage war on them."

Mine: "So we're finally going to have an all-out-confrontation!" She said with a grin before she looked at Absolute Zero, but Dairoku quickly put an end to her plan.

Dairoku: "Don't think about it. We wanna keep Absolute Zero as much as a secret as possible. But if the situation calls for it, then go ahead."

Mine: "Right, right."

Najenda: "Even with the Jaegers, I have a request from the Headquarters for us to kill Kurome, Akaruime and Bols if we have the opportunity." Dairoku looked at Akame and Kuraime, the former clenching her fists. He just took her hand, causing her to grip it tightly.

Chelsea: "They've burned a village that was supporting the Revolutionary Army down to the ground after all..., Bols' corps that is. Although it's probably also because of Bols' firepower being a threat as well."

Saber: "Indeed... That Teigu of his is quite troublesome... I would know from past experiences with its previous wielder..."

Najenda: "As long as the Jaegers continue to be led by Esdeath, it doesn't change the fact that they are the Minister's private army. You can fight them as enemies even after being acquainted with them, right? Tatsumi." He was slightly taken aback, but clenched his fists.

Tatsumi's thoughts: "...Wave was a good guy! He wasn't listed in the targets, and I have no reason to fight him... But those are my own circumstances. He'll probably come at me full force for his comrades... He's not an enemy I can go easy on... More than anything, I'm a killer... I've decided myself... I've resolved myself and joined this!" Now fully sure, his expression showed full determination.

Tatsumi: "...I'll do it. I'll fight at my full strength, even if we fight those who aren't our targets. I have no doubts!" He yelled in full resolve as a shadow of Incursio lingered underneath him. Everyone, including Susanoo and Saber even, began smiling at him

Najenda: "Good."

Dairoku: "That's the way Tatsumi, the way Bulat taught you."

Tatsumi: "Right, Aniki."

Chelsea however, was just staring at him.

Chelsea's thoughts: "...Those are good eyes. I can feel his resolve. If it's like this, something like pitying the enemy and dying... something like that won't happen..." But then, her eyes widened slightly as she began blushing. "...Why am I... looking at Tatsumi so much? I just can't leave him alone, I guess..."

>>A Few Days later with the Jaegers<<

Sitting in a lone chair was the Empire's strongest, the sadistic Esdeath, who was looking in a small diary where a drawn picture of Tatsumi was, before Run and Lauren entered the room.

Run: "Captain."

Lauren: "Four people believed to be Night Raid's Akame, Kuraime, Mine and Death's Harbinger have been sighted near the eastern Romari Main road."

Run:"What is our next course of action?" Esdeath closed her diary and firmly put on her hat before standing up.

Esdeath: "Gather all of the Jaegers."

As humans gradually rot, countries will also eventually fall; those who seek the birth of a new country, and those who defend their country.

Their ideas, principles, goals, with everything different between them, due to an unavoidable fate, they approach their day of conflict. Taking up their unique armaments, keeping their determination within their hearts,

They move to the decisive battle!

Mine tightened the strings of her dress as Mira slowly took off her glasses, finding that her vision had fully returned to her. Kuraime slicked her hair back while Saber gripped Excalibur tightly, her dress turning into the armored variant. Akame slid on her gauntlets as Dairoku looked down in his hand, seeing the glasses of Sheele he still carries on him. The memory of her final smile flashed through his mind as his eyes darkened slightly, but a supporting hand from Akame, caused him to look at her. She smiled softly at him, bringing his hope back up as he smiled back, clenching the glasses before he hooked them onto his shirt.

"For you... Natala... Gin... Poney... Guy... Green... Najasho... Bulat... Tsukushi... Cornelia... Sheele..."
