(Dairoku's POV)

So after discussing what we need to discuss, we all decided to celebrate getting Tatsumi back. So you know what that meant... Yup, a LOT of food and a LOT of drinking; mainly for Leone that last part...

Leone: "Uhyaaa~ This sake is so good! Here's to getting Tatsumi back in one piece!!!" she cheered clearly drunk as she held the poor guy under her arm.

Tatsumi: "Nee-San..."

Lubbock: "I still can't believe it... That Esdeath is falling for Tatsumi..." He looked depressingly into his cup before slamming it down on the table. "HOW IS HE THE LADY KILLER!?!?"

Kuraime: "Yeah...... Lady killer... She better change her mind about him......" She mumbled under her breath, for pretty much no one to hear, but thanks to my enhanced hearing, I was able to hear her. Kuraime's really getting jealous...... which I've never seen until today...

Mira: "Esdeath-Sama falling for Tatsumi...? Why do I feel like a Breakdown Phenomenon is happening...?" She asked, seemingly confused as she bit into a plain cupcake with frosting and sprinkles in it.

(A/N: "Any Trinity Seven fans will know what she means by that.")

Mine: "She's really got some horrible taste huh...? What part of 'This' is that great, anyway?" Tatsumi deadpanned at her, from being revered to as 'This'.

Kuraime: "Hmph... Tatsumi." He looked over at Akame and Kuraime, who were both massacring pieces of meat.

Akame: "You should eat more." I can already tell what he's thinking. I slid over to him and whispered into his ear.

Dairoku: *whispering* "The stomachs of Gluttons... That's what... You thought it's bad now, you should have been there when it was all 4 of them...... It was like dealing with a pack of hungry wolves..."

Tatsumi: "Oh lord help us..." He whimpered as I slid back over to the two gluttons. Suddenly, Leone shoved his face back into her tits.

Leone: "Hmph! I'm the one who claimed him first! That sadist bitch is crazy if she thinks I'm just gonna let her take him!"

She said proudly. I glanced slowly at Kuraime, who was munching furiously on the meat as she glared at Leone, with a large cartoonish tick appearing on her head... Then, suddenly she used her >Evernight Raven< to blitz over to them and pry Tatsumi out of Leone's grasp, before hugging him defensively, while pushing his face into her tits as well.... Wait... What is happening???

Kuraime: "Tatsumi is not a 'thing' to be claimed! He's his own person and has his own decisions. Make him choose them." She scolded the Lioness, who grinned.

Leone: "Oh? So that's why his face is currently in your bosom?"

The purple eyed ravenette's response to that was a massive blush on her face before she pushed Tatsumi away and continued furiously eating the meat before her, causing Leone to burst out in laughter and for Mira to giggle while Mine just shook her head. Lubbock however...

Lubbock: "WHAT THE HELL!?!? HE EVEN GOT THE SEXY KURAIME WRAPPED AROUND HIS FINGER!?!? WHY NOT MEEEEE!?!?!?"

CHAPTER 15: KILL THE INVADERS

(3rd Person POV)

So, pretty much everyone passed out after the party... Lubbock and Leone did from drinking and Tatsumi did from being suffocated in Leone's chest. Kuraime, Mine, Akame, Mira and Dairoku however, were all still sober and went up to their beds right after covering the three passed out members with blankets.

Even though it was late at night, Dairoku couldn't bring himself to sleep... Something was just keeping him up, whether it was a bad feeling, or the fact that Barbatos was constantly growling in his head. Then, a faint knock on his door instantly alerted him. He was about to get up and reach for Yoake, which was sitting in the corner of the room, leaned up against the desk he usually sat at, but then the soft voice of one ravenette he knew all too well, instantly paused his movements...

Akame: *through door* "Dairoku? Are you awake?" Immediately after hearing her calming voice, he sighed and sat back down on his bed.

Dairoku: "Yeah, I am. It's open." Immediately, the door creaked open, revealing Akame in her cute pink cherry blossom pajamas, though she was holding Murasame...

Dairoku: "What's up? Can't asleep?" She hummed in confirmation as she closed the door behind her and rested Murasame next to Yoake.

Akame: "I just have a sinking feeling about tonight..." She said as she sat next to Dairoku on his bed.

Dairoku: *sighs* "Yeah... Me too... Barbatos won't stop growling tonight either... I think she smells something malicious..." They sat in a slightly uncomfortable silence before the red eyed assassin broke it.

Akame: "I'm sorry..."

Dairoku: "Huh?" He looked at her confused.

Akame: "For that night..." Upon noticing her blush a little, Dairoku knew what she was talking about... "What I did was completely uncalled for... I forced it upon you and..."

Dairoku: "Akame..."

She reluctantly looked up at him, trembling slightly with eyes that threatened to release tears... Dairoku placed his right hand onto her cheek and caressed it a bit, before he made the move and kissed her. Akame's eyes widened, shocked at the fact that her partner was engaging in a kiss with her, willingly, though she didn't deny it as she kissed back. Around a minute after, they both pulled away, blushing from the contact; that was now the fifth kiss they shared.

Dairoku: "Do you remember the night I 'died?'"

Akame nodded. How could she have forgotten about that night? It was the one night that everything changed for her... the night he gave her the necklace and the night he relayed his feelings onto her...

(Flashback)

Akame and Dairoku... against the leader of the Elite Seven... This battle would decide their freedom... though it was looking dire... Unlike the No. 2 and No. 7 of the Elite Seven, Gozuki wielded a Teigu, something that cannot physically compare to the Shingu they wielded in terms of power. However, thanks to their teamwork, Akame and Dairoku managed to knock down Gozuki... He lied against a tree, bleeding from his wounds, though he was smiling.

Gozuki: "I won't die... guh...! ...so easily..."

He was struggling, but obviously not out for the count... And neither Akame or Dairoku had any methods to kill them... Unless... Akame's eyes landed on the Teigu her old man wielded, Murasame.

Akame: "You will if I use this sword..." Dairoku and Gozuki looked at her shocked.

Gozuki: "...True... Even I would die instantly." He smirked slightly

Dairoku: "The Demon Blade... Are you sure you can even use it Akame?"

Akame briefly looked at him before looking at the magnificent blade in her hands, an ominous demonic aura surrounding it as the blade itself reflected her battered face.

Akame: "Of course... I will wield such a beautiful blade."

Dairoku looked at her in slight shock before chucking a bit while Murasame's aura pulsed a little in response before calming down, seemingly choosing the ravenette to be her new master.

Dairoku: "Seems like Murasame likes you too." He said smiling, causing Akame to smile back.

Gozuki: "There you go again..." He chuckled, causing the two partners to look back towards him. "Calling that demonic blade, 'beautiful'... Heh... I guess I raised you well, Akame..."

Akame looked at him seriously before making her way towards him to end it finally... However

Gozuki: "Though you still are easy to fool..."

Hearing that ominous tone from him, caused Dairoku's eyes to widen before he sprinted towards his beloved partner.

Dairoku: "AKAME!!!"

Akame became startled when suddenly, her red eyed partner pushed her out of the way, sending her crashing to the ground. She had wondered why he prevented her from ending the battle... but upon hearing the sound of blood splatter and flesh being sliced open, her eyes widened. She swiftly looked behind her, only to be mortified... Gozuki had used his abilities of a Rakasha Demon, to unleash spikes from his chest that would have ultimately pierced Akame's flesh and organs... had she been the one standing there... Instead, the one in her place... was Dairoku.

Akame: "DAIROKU!!!" She yelled as she stood up and rushed towards him, desperate.

Dairoku: "I'm... sorry..." he apologized as he weakly looked over to her as his former adoptive father's attack kept pierced in his skin, more specifically his arms, legs, chest and abdomen. "It looks like... I won't be able to keep my... promise to you..." Akame was obviously rejecting as she immediately snapped at him.

Akame: "No! Shut up!!! I'll kill him now and then I'll get you patched up! I promise! You're not leaving me too Dairoku!!!"

Seeing the major denial, Dairoku sighed weakly, knowing she wouldn't listen. He knew things were very dire... and even if he was to get patched up, he would most likely not be able to fight again. Before the ravenette had a chance to rush to kill Gozuki, Dairoku stopped her by grabbing her hand.

Akame: "Let me go! I'll kill him and then save-"

Cutting her off was the swift movement of Dairoku pulling her towards him and clashing his lips against hers. Akame was surprised and confused, not knowing what to do in the situation. When he separated from her, her eyes were as wide as dinner plates, though, her eyes landed on something shiny in his hands... A silver necklaces laced in Ruby Gemstones.

Dairoku: "No matter what world separates us... I'll always be by your side...... Akame..."

With that sentence of his, he wrapped the necklace around her neck and clipped it. It shined from the moonlight's reflection and the red rubies complimented the assassin's eyes perfectly. Dairoku smiled weakly at her before glaring at Gozuki and igniting himself on flames before he dashed towards him, yelling as his spikes still pierced him before he pinned him to the tree, making sure he couldn't do anything.

Gozuki: "Y-You-!"

Dairoku: "I can't hold him like this for long!! So hurry up now, Akame!! Pierce us with your blade! Let Murasame consume us!!!"

Akame froze completely... her partner's request... This was a suicide mission... But in the situation that was before her... there really was no way to separate the two... She... had no choice... Her sword hand shook violently as she tried to move but couldn't... Not after what Dairoku had just done...

Dairoku: "Hey..." She looked back at him, only to see him looking back at her with a weak smile. "...Remember that phrase I taught you to say...?"

The phrase... the one singular phrase that would instantly flip the ravenette's switch, making her the known emotionless killer... Her hand, halted its shaking and a dangerous shadow lingered over her eyes as she recalled on the One... Single... Word................................................

"ELIMINATE!!!"

With one swift thrust, the blade of Murasame was driven right through Dairoku's back, ending up piercing Gozuki's chest in the process... She had done it... She had successfully completed her mission...

Gozuki: "You brat...... you really... did me dirty huh...?"

Dairoku: "In a battle... always expect the unexpected... you taught me that yourself...... father..."

Gozuki: "Heh... Yeah... I did..."

The blackened cursed markings crept their way onto the skin of the two as the poison quickly spread through their system blood stream... Gozuki was the first to lose his consciousness and Dairoku was not far behind... He weakly looked back to Akame, whose head hung low... He decided...if his action didn't get the message across... then he would relay it to her... with his final breath.....................

"I love you...... Akame..."

(End of Flashback)

Just remembering that night, brought her to tears again... Dairoku brought the ravenette into a warm embrace, as she cried her eyes out from the memory, that had haunted her since she defected.

Dairoku: "What I said... still stands."

The tearful eyes of the girl widened before she looked up at him, her mouth trembling a bit. She looked nothing like her persona now...

Akame: "Y-You mean it...?"

Dairoku: "Yeah... I do... I still love you, Akame." Those words... 'I love you' Akame remembers them all too well... and she was longing to hear them again from him. "It's just... I was afraid that you'd hate me after what happened..."

Immediately, he was silenced by the girl in his arms, tackling him into a kiss, taking him by surprise, but he didn't decline it. In fact, he embraced it fully, kissing her back while caressing her cheek and wiping away her tears. A full minute or two after and they pulled away, blushing lightly from their contact.

Akame: "You dummy... I could never hate you... I'm just sorry I never realized your feelings earlier..." Dairoku smiled and shook his head in denial.

Dairoku: "You don't have to apologize. You're reasoning was completely valid. And I respected it completely." His response made her smile back at him, her pinkish flush growing more.

Akame: "So... does this mean?"

Dairoku: "Only if you want it." His response was Akame pecking his lips before smiling sweetly at him.

Akame: "I love you too, Dairoku."

That smile she gave him... It was significantly different to the ones she display now... This smile, resembled her more carefree and naïve persona from when she was a member of the now disbanded Elite Seven.

Dairoku returned the smile and held the scarlet eyed girl close to him... Though the ominous glowing of both Yoake and Murasame caught their attention. They looked at their respective weapons, then at each other, a worried yet serious expression on their faces.

Dairoku and Akame: "We're under attack."

>>Meanwhile<<

Lubbock: "They're all over." he gritted his teeth as he sprinted down the hallways, the threads from Cross Tails reacting strongly to movement around and the base. "Shit. A large group showed up!? But how did they get this close...!?"

Immediately, he was halted by part of the ceiling crashing down in front of him, revealing one of the intruders.

Lubbock: "So there's even a few inside, huh...?"

Intruder: "Enemy... KILL!"

He lunged at the green haired assassin, clawing at him with one of his metal claws, however, Lubbock leaped over him, wrapping the threads of Cross Tails around his person before he began to pull, effectively strangling him.

Lubbock: "Sorry... I need to hurry and meet up with the others."

However, the intruder looked back at Lubbock in an unnatural way before swiping at his abdomen, causing him to be sent flying back. Lubbock however, grinned as he revealed his threads being wrapped around his body to form some sort of armor.

Lubbock: "You know, there's more than one way to use thread! For instance!" The intrude roared as he dashed towards him, however, Lubbock rearranged his threading to form a large Javelin. "If you bind it, you can even do this!!!"

He launched the javelin right through the intruder's heart, killing him immediately.

Lubbock: "To use tread like that... I run a book store you see. At the shot, there are many Manga with ideas on how to use thread." Unfortunately, groaning behind him caught his attention... Turns out that there was a whole squadron of those enhanced intruders... "Even more... Huh... Ah... a whole group is a bit... Well, I guess I should show a bit of restraint and...... RUN!!!"

He immediately began to flee from the group, however, they were managing to easily keep up with him.

Lubbock: "UWAAAHH!!! YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE SO FAST!!!"

He kept on running and running, until a certain ravenette girl wielding a demonic katana leaped over the group and stood defensively in front of him; Akame.

Akame: "Get behind me, Lubbock!"

Lubbock: "Akame-Chan!!" He cheered though he realized that she didn't have time to change and laughed a little.

Completely ignoring what she heard behind her, Akame griped Murasame tightly, before dealing a series of thunder-clap slashes towards the entire group, cutting them up all into bit sized pieces... All without moving from her spot.

Lubbock: "Woah! She's too good!" Though his celebration didn't last long as another whole group of those intruders came charging at them from behind Lubbock. "GAH! TOO MANY! TOO MANY!!!"

Akame: "Tch..."

She gritted her teeth as she got ready to slash her way through them all, however a certain raven-shaped blur beat her to it, immediately killing half of that group in one single strike. It was the Purple-eyed Reaper.

Lubbock: "Kuraime-Chan!!" She stood behind him, Ketsuekime in hand; just like Akame, she was wearing her pajamas, much to Lubbock's delight. Hers was a white and pink shirt with a bunny on it and pink short-shorts.

Kuraime: "Mira! Now!"

She yelled out as suddenly, lightning surged through the rest of the group, electrocuting them all before they were all blown to bits by a fiery explosion. Coming from the smoke, was Mira, also in her pajamas which was strangely similar to Akame's in terms of color and style, though she had on her glasses.

Mira: "Is everyone alright?"

Lubbock: "We are now! Thanks, Mira!" She gave him a small smile while she twirled Genso no Sutoraikā.

???: "Despite being enemies, I stand in awe of your abilities." Everyone was alerted to the voice in front of them, which came from another intruder, who was accompanied my three more.

Lubbock: "They've got backup!"

Akame, Mira and Kuraime's thoughts: "Strong..." The man in the center of them, dashed forwards.

Toby: "You may call me, Toby." He said as he launched a bladed kick in Akame's direction. She however quickly ducked underneath as Kuraime dashed up and slashed Toby across his back, but she gritted her teeth upon feeling something that wasn't right.

Kuraime's thoughts: "That feeling... This one's different from the rest... Has his body been turned into a machine??"

Lubbock: "Akame-Chan! Kuraime-Chan!" He and Mira sprinted towards the two, however, both were stopped by the three larger men. "Shit... I want to help them out but... These guys are in the way...!!"

Mira: "Tch... Lubbock! Let's go!"

Lubbock: "Yeah!"

>>Meanwhile<<

Bursting through the side of the Hideout, was Tatsumi, covered by Incursio. Immediately after landing on the ground, the intruders that surrounded him, charged.

Tatsumi: "YOU'RE ALL DEAD!!!" On each one, he stuck a powerful punch, completely blowing them back and killing them.

Tatsumi's thoughts: "These guys... Dr. Stylish's personal army!?"

Kuku: "So you've finally come out!" Tatsumi turned his attention to an overly buffed man with a wide grin... However, on his back...... Was Extase... "Hey there, Armored Nii-Chan. Seems like I'll be your opponent for today." Tatsumi, immediately upon looking at him, recognized the giant pair of scissors.

Tatsumi: "That Teigu is...!"

Kuku: "Huhu... like it? It's The Cutter of Creation—Extase. My Teigu and I are still getting to know each other, you see." This immediately enraged the armored boy.

Tatsumi: "THAT TEIGU... IS NOT YOURS!!!"

Immediately, he charged forwards, drawing his original sword from its sheath. However, once he struck down on the man, his skin bulked up further, causing the blade to completely snap in half.

Kuku: "Hah! You try to cut flesh... I CAN CUT BONE!!!" He exclaimed as he attempted to cut Tatsumi with Extase, which barely missed, however, his arm was still grazed and blood seeped through the armor.

Tatsumi: "Gwaah..."

Kuku: "Mmm, that's a nice reaction. But I thought I had cut off your arm. It's just so sad... you may have armor that is unbreakable... But there is nothing in this world that this Teigu can't cut. The defense your armor gives you is utterly useless!"

After which, more intruders sprung out from out of nowhere, attacking Tatsumi from all sides, however, with his fiery rage, he punched and kicked them all into oblivion before dashing back towards Kuku.

Tatsumi: "GIVE THAT BACK NOW!!! It belongs..." He gripped the handle of the giant pair of Scissors... "...to SHEELE!!!"

Kuku: "Huh!? Who the hell is that!?" he knocked Tatsumi away from him before he slowly began to approach. "If you really want to die that badly, I'll chop you up as much as you like!!!"

However, a golden beam of Spiritual energy flew right in between them, preventing Kuku from attacking.

Mine: "What, are you having a hard time out here? You're as undisciplined as ever!!" It Mine, wearing a short pink night gown.

Tatsumi: "Mine!"

Immediately after seeing Extase in the hands of Kuku, Mine's rage flared up.

Kuku: "Shoot. So the small fry couldn't keep them busy inside, eh? Didn't they all converge in there?"

Mine: "I'll take care of this one... Seeing Extase in the hands of the enemy... Just makes me sick!"

Kuku: "'Take care of' you say!? Hey, think about your situation and try saying that again! Your hideout has been discovered. Enemies are inside it as we speak. And you yourself are about to be attack!!"

Mine: "And that's why I know you will die." However...

"Vengeful Dragon; Balance Breaker!"

Kuku's expression quickly changed to one of pure terror as Mine gained a cheeky and confident smirk while she lowered Pumpkin and crossed her arms.

Mine: "Actually... I'll let him kill you. Better say your prayers, as Death's Harbinger is coming for you"

Immediately as she said that, the black and red armor of Barbatos leaped over her and sent an extraordinary punch into Kuku's gut, causing him to cough up blood and skid backwards. It was Dairoku... and he was NOT happy at all...

Dairoku: "Extase......" He glared daggers at Kuku, his fists clenching tightly... "Sheele......"

Kuku: "You... YOU WANNA DIE THAT BADLY, THEN LET'S GO THEN!!!"

He yelled as he rushed at Dairoku, however, the Vampire simply holstered Yoake on his rear waist and clenched his fists before... connecting a singular punch to his face, immediately stopping his assault... But it didn't end there... Punch after punch, sent powerful shockwaves throughout the area as his power kept increasing... and increasing...

"BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST!"

One final uppercut, knocked Kuku into the sky, with Extase flying out of his grip. Immediately, Dairoku grabbed Extase and made one downwards slash with the giant pair of scissors, completely ripping Kuku in half.

Dairoku: "Sis..."

He mumbled as he looked at the pair of scissors in his hand... Mine walked up to him, looking sorry for him. Dairoku noticed her behind him, and reverse gripped Extase before handing it to Mine. She seemed shocked, but accepted the Teigu and hugged it tightly with tears in her eyes... Tatsumi in the mean time, stood in the background, looking up at the sky while Dairoku looked down at the ground.

Mine: "Welcome home... Sheele."

Next thing they knew, a large shadow casted over them as they all looked up to see a Special-Class Danger Beast, known as an Air Manta flying above them... and on it... Was Najenda.

Najenda: "'Evil descendants upon the base' The divination Teigu is as fearsome as ever. Right on the mark. This is a sorry state of affairs..." The she turned to three cloaked figures behind her... "Our new fighting strength... I think it's about time you made your debut."

On the ground, Dr. Stylish watched with a grin.

Dr. Stylish: "Fufu... Indeed , I was a bit surprised. But this is rather convenient, you see. NOW I CAN TURN EVERYONE INTO MATERIALS FOR MY EXPERIMENTS! WITH MY TRUMP CARD!!!"

Finally a new AGV chapter! So the next one with be on Tuesday. Also, Akame and Dairoku are now officially together! And yes, I WILL be doing an Akame Ga Vengeance Zero Book. And finally, I have decided to also update AGV on Fridays along with Tuesdays. So yeah.
