(3rd Person POV)

Kuraime: "Oyasumi." That was the last word her victim heard before he was sliced across the chest by the girl's demonic scythe. Black Flame markings crept around his skin, inflicting the devil's curse upon him until he fell completely limp. As the girl holstered her scythe onto her back, she heard the muffle screams of another victim behind her; this was the infamous Demon Assassin, Kuraime.

(Kuraime)

Turning around, she saw her partner, sinking his fangs into his victim's neck, draining them of all life. Once he removed his fangs, he threw the lifeless body aside; this was the infamous Death's Harbinger, who's name was not known. But his partner knew him as, Dairoku

(Dairoku)

Dairoku: "Well, glad that's over. Hopefully Yoake will be satisfied enough." he said, cracking his neck slightly, but then he noticed his partner, staring out of the window of the room, at the moon... "You alright over there, Sis?"

Kuraime: "Will this world truly be rid of the corruption? Will the Revolutionary Army succeed?" she asked in a quiet yet audible tone, to which the Dairoku sighed.

Dairoku: "I can't answer that... But, we can hope for the best..."

Kuraime: "You're right... Big Brother..."

Dairoku: "C'mon. Let's go bring their heads to the spies." As he began to put the heads of the victims into the bags, his sister looked back at the moon, as it shined blood red, instead of its normal color...

Kuraime: "I will... Eliminate all corruption."

(Kuraime's POV)

I stood in the middle of my room, prepping Ketsuekime for the next assassination. Suddenly, I heard a squeak... I looked to the window and saw a very familiar Hell-Bat flying towards me. As it flew into the room, it suddenly transformed in my big brother, Dairoku.

(Dairoku-Hell-Bat Form)

Dairoku: "I did some scouting and found our next target. They're a sadistic rich family and they just took in their next victim, a boy with brown hair and green eyes named Tatsumi." He informed me before I held my arm out for him, which he bit into to take some of my blood.

Kuraime: "Then we have to end them now before anything happens to that boy." I stated as Dairoku removed his fangs from my arm.

Dairoku: "Agreed. Come on." He stated to which I nodded.

Dairoku and I stood there on the light poles, with our Zodiac-Armors on, looking down upon the mansion that our targets were; apparently these nobles take in random people and treat them but then they torture them; the corruption must die...

(Dairoku-Zodiac-Armor)

(Kuraime-Zodiac-Armor)

Dairoku: "Alright Kuraime, you ready?" He asked me to which I nodded,

Kuraime: "Yes. They will be put to sleep..."

I dropped down from the pole and landed in front of two guards, with Dairoku landing behind me. They looked startled but barely had any time to react as I blitzed up to them and slashed them with Ketsuekime. Suddenly, my eyes began glowing a deep purple... I heard the sound of metal hitting the ground... I looked to Dairoku and he nodded; he'd go inside the mansion while I'd take anyone outside.

I ended up at the back of the mansion only to see my target, a dead guard, a boy with brown hair, green and a sword... so he's Tatsumi...

And a girl... she had long black hair, as long as mine and crimson red eyes... She was also holding katana that face off a murderous vibe...

A Zodiac... Or... no... That was a Teigu... More specifically, Murasame, The One cut killer... Ketsu and Murasame have similar abilities so this battle will be down to who can get the first cut... I may have my Armor but it's nowhere near as durable as an Armor-Type Teigu or Dairoku's Armor... She was about to kill the boy but he was innocent... Without thinking, I blitzed towards him and blocked her strike with Ketsu, to her surprise... I pushed her back to which she landed on her feet perfectly.

Kuraime: "I'll deal with you two later." I coldly said to the two behind me. I gave the girl in front of me my full attention... But... why does it feel like I know her...?

(3rd Person POV)

Akame's thoughts: "This thing in front of me... Is that an Armor-Type Teigu? But that Scythe... it gives off an aura similar to Murasame... I have to be extra cautious with her" Was what went through the Red-Eyed Assassin's mind; this girl was named, Akame. Then she asked the Armored assassin in front of her out loud, "Who are you?" while not letting her guard down.

Kuraime: "That's not your business, but I cannot allow you to slain an innocent boy. The girl on the other hand, can't say the same for her."

Tatsumi: "W-Wait!!! What the hell is going on!??" From behind them he shouted confused and afraid. Kuraime just sighed and looked at Tatsumi with that stoic expression behind her helmet but she wasn't letting her guard down.

Kuraime: "No questions. Just sit tight and I'll handle this." she coldly replied before glaring at Aria... "I'll deal with you personally later."

Tatsumi: "H-Hey! What's going on!? Aria did nothing!" he shouted as Kuraime just sighed in irritation and deadpanned...

Kuraime: "You... dumbass..." She sighed

Tatsumi: "H-Huh!? What do you-" He was cut off when Akame suddenly rushed up to Kuraime and swung at her neck. Immediately noticing, Kuraime blocked her Katana with Ketsuekime easily; she managed to get a good look at her attacker.

Kuraime's thoughts: "Long black Hair... Red eyes... Where have I've seen that before..." Was what went through Kuraime's mind before Akame attempted to kick her but she grabbed her leg and threw her away from her, to which she landed it. Kuraime then began rushing Akame, using her ability granted to her by her Zodiac, >Evernight Raven< every now and then to try and get the jump on her but Akame seem like she knew how to block easily; the two were evenly matched and considered what their weapons could do, they could easily kill each other.

Akame's thoughts:"This girl... She just as fast if not faster than me... And she's as skilled too..." she thought as she ducked underneath a horizontal slash from Kuraime, before striking upwards

Kuraime's thoughts: "She an agile fighter like me... I'll have a hard time getting the advantage... But..." She thought, seeing a brief blurry flashback that displayed a female figure with raven black hair like the one before her. Grunting, she narrowly dodged the upwards strike from Akame.

Eventually Akame managed to roundhouse kick Kuraime, sending her back a bit before striking down on her. Tatsumi and Aria watched in horror as they saw Kuraime get struck down but suddenly she dispersed in to multiple ravens to everyone's surprise. She then reformed behind Akame and swung downwards, creating a loud clang as their blades collided. Kuraime backed off and blitzed back over to Tatsumi's side. She got into a stance as Ketsuekime's blade glowed a dark red and purple mixture. Akame noticed and too got into a stance, her Murasame letting off its demonic aura.

Kuraime and Akame rushed towards each other, creating sonic booms behind them as the swung their weapons, Kuraime aiming for Akame's abdomen while Akame aimed for Kuraime's neck. They were about to collide until...

???: "Hold up!" Two voices said simultaneously as they pulled the two assassins away from each other to Tatsumi and Aria's confusion. Turns out the two people who stopped their fight was Dairoku with his Armor disengaged and a busty blonde lion girl named Leone.

Kuraime and Akame broke their necks backwards to look at their companions with those 'derpy' eyes

Kuraime and Akame: "What are you doing?" They both asked simultaneously in that stoic tone before quickly looking at each other with confusion.

Dairoku: "... (o_O)... Okay now that's freaky..." He mumbled as he held Kuraime back. Akame looked at Dairoku before squinting her eyes a little bit. As an image of the same boy with red eyes and the same facial features, however he had black hair instead of white hair, flashed through her mind. However, his voice alone and attitude told her everything she needed to know...

Akame: "D-Dairoku...?" She immediately recognized the vampire in front of her. Though, she was surprised to see his vampiric traits, such as his fangs and pointed ears. He noticed her and took a good look at her before the same happened to him, seeing a beautiful young girl with long black hair and red eyes smiling sweetly at him...

Dairoku: "A-Akame...? Is that... really you...?" He stuttered. Kuraime's eyes widen as she felt a sudden pain through her head, causihg her to hold it but she soon shook it off, looking back at the red-eyed girl. She immediately disengaged her armor as it finally came back to her... She knew her...

Kuraime: "A-Akame..." she said bewildered...

Akame: "Kuraime...?? You were in there...?" Akame asked shocked, to which the purple eyed assassin nodded. "B-But... how? I saw you two... you both died......"

Kuraime: "It's... a long and confusing story..." She said, rubbing her forehead before she holstered Ketsuekime on her back and smiled at her long time best friend. "But, I'm so glad to see you again, Akame." Akame has small tears in her eyes as she sheathed Murasame, before running into her Best Friend's arms, hugging her as tightly as she could while smiling which, for someone like Leone, was a very rare sight.

Akame: "Me too... I missed you, Kuraime." After the two athletic assassins hugged it out for a minute, they pulled away, with Kuraime turning her best friend's attention to her 'elder brother'. Akame looked at him, before walking over to him, placing a hand on his chest to feel if he was truly real... If the guy she regretted not returning his feelings when they were a part of the Elite Seven was truly standing before her... And much to her excitement, he was...... "I... I thought... you died... I killed you..." She stuttered, her voice cracking from the tears escaping her eyes, which were becoming more and more plentiful.

Dairoku: "I did too... I was ready to just accept the fact that I was dead... That I'd get to see Kuraime and the others again......" He said, as he looked at her with eyes filled with regret. "But... as Kuraime said, it's a long and confusing story... As for why we're alive... I couldn't tell you if I wanted to, to be honest..." Then he caressed her cheek and made her look up at him.

"But... I'm happy I got to see you again, Akame." This one line just did it for Akame as she began to cry while burying her head into his shoulder and embracing him tightly. Dairoku sighed in relief and returned the embrace, caressing the back of her head and running his fingers though her long raven-locks.

After staying like this for a time that felt like forever, the two red eyed killers finally separated, Akame hesitating to let him go again in fear that he'd just vanish into thin air like a Phantom. But he was still right in front of her, now born as a Vampire. Before anything else could be said Leone piped up.

Leone: "That was so emotional..." Leone said, as she dramatically wiped tears from her eyes, causing the two reunited Assasins to turn to her. She smiled at them before addressing Akame. "Anyways, we've still got time, right Akame? I owe this young man a favor." She said smiling at Tatsumi to which he immediately recognized her.

Tatsumi: "Wahhh!??? You the girl with the boobs-!"

Leone: "Yes the pretty lady!" Leone just waved at him to his annoyance

Dairoku: "...(-_-)...That's something you don't here every day..." He deadpanned, as Akame let out a light giggle from his expression. Then, things began to get serious.

Leone: "Young lad... You told us not to kill an innocent girl..." She began walking towards the shed as Aria sweat dropped... "But can you really say that after seeing this...?" She kicked the doors causing them to go flying off their hinges to reveal the dark truth... "Take a look. This is the darkness of the capital."

What was inside shook him to his core... Hundreds of tortured bodies... some hanging from the ceiling, others in cages... it was truly mortifying sight for the most naïve of individuals.

Tatsumi: "What... Is this...!???" He asked, mortified

Leone: "They lure unidentified people from the country in to their home with their sweet words, and subject them to their hobbies of torture and toy with them till they die. This is the true nature of this household." If that didn't mortify him then what next definitely did; a girl with long black hair hanging from the ceiling from chains; she was missing a leg

Tatsumi: "Sayo...? H-Hey... Is that you Sayo...?"

Leone: "Someone you knew..." She muttered as Aria tried to sneak away, only for the Scythe blade of Dairoku's Yoake to curve around her neck, threatening to decapitate her.

Dairoku: "Not so fast you sadistic bitch. You're not getting away with this one young missy" He threatened, showing off his fangs to her while giving her a devilish and evil grin.

Tatsumi: "The people of this house did this?" He asked in a low tone.

Leone: "That's right. The guards were keeping quiet about it so their equally guilty"

Aria: "T-That's a lie! I didn't know this was here! Are you going to believe me Tatsumi, someone who saved you or THESE people!???" She desperately asked but Dairoku inched Yoake closer to shut her up

???: "T-Tatsumi..." A familiar voice to the naïve boy was heard. To his left was a boy in a cage who was in a terrible state

Tatsumi: "Ieyasu!????"

Ieyasu: "That girl invited Sayo and I... and after we ate, we lost consciousness... We were here when we came to... That girl... SHE TORTURED SAYO TO DEATH!!!"

Aria: "WHAT'S SO WRONG!??" Her abrupt outburst caught them off guard and she managed to push Yoake out of her way. She then gained an insane expression and glared at them all.

Aria: "YOU'RE JUST WORTHLESS HICKS FROM THE COUNTRY RIGHT!? YOU'RE NO BETTER THAN CATTLE! I SHOULD BE FREE TO TREAT THEM HOWEVER I WANT! BESIDES, THAT GIRL WAS SO IMPERTINENT FOR HAVING SUCH STRAIGHT HAIR FOR A FARM ANIMAL! EVEN THOUGH I'M SO TROUBLED WITH UNRULY HAIR! THAT'S WHY I AGONIZED HER SO METICULOUSLY! IN FACT, SHE SHOULD BE GRATEFUL I TOOK SUCH GOOD CARE OF HER!"

Dairoku: "A family filled with sadists... Disgusting..." He muttered.

Leone: "You could say that again... You two can end it now." She said, as Akame and Kuraime readied their weapons

Akame/Kuraime: "Eliminate/Oyasumi-"

Tatsumi: "Wait..." They looked over to him as he began walking towards Aria

Leone: "Don't tell me... your still willing to protect her?" She asked while Dairoku slightly grinned as he knew what was about to happen

Tatsumi: "No..." He grabbed the handle of his sword and with one swift motion, slashed directly across Aria's chest while shouting in an angry and vengeful tone, "I'LL KILL HER!" Her lifeless body fell over as blood escaped the fatal wound. Blood leaked off of his swords as he sheathed.

Leone's thoughts: "Hmm... Despite her being hateful, he didn't even hesitate..." She thought, pinching her chin

Ieyasu: "Ha... That's Tatsumi for you... That felt great." He weakly smirked before coughing up a lot of blood, catching the attention of everyone.

Tatsumi: "What's wrong Ieyasu???" He ran over to his friend as Dairoku sliced the bars opened and retrieved Sayo's body from the chains

Akame: "It's the last stage of the Lubora Disease. The mistress of this place loved putting people on drugs and writing down how they were doing in her diary. He cannot be saved anymore."

Kuraime: "Dairoku can you...?" She looked at her brother, only to see him slightly shake his head.

Dairoku: "Not when he's this close to death."

Ieyasu: "Tatsumi... You know... Sayo didn't submit to that fucking girl, even to the very end... It was so cool..." He said as his friend held him in his arms. Then he held his hand out to him, smiling all the way, "So for my death, this Ieyasu-Sama will also..." he clenched his fist to Tatsumi before saying his last words, "Keep it real."

Kuraime: "He was already in a state where he was holding on with sheer willpower alone..." She explained as internally, she felt bad that she couldn't save him.

Tatsumi: "What's... wrong with the empire...?" He asked in a low and broken tone that sounded ready to break down. Kuraime sighed and began to walk away.

Kuraime: "Let's get out of here Dairoku." Dairoku took notice of her behavior and began to follow after her, before they were stopped by a little... err... big lioness.

Leone: "Why don't you guys cone with? Besides, we're all fighting against the empire. And you're both friends of Akame-Chan, so why not take this opportunity to catch up?" She suggested. Kuraime and Dairoku shared a brief look before Kuraime nodded.

Dairoku: "Alright. We'll tag along." He said to Leone's excitement. Akame let loose a small smile at Dairoku's response. "Besides, I definitely wanna get the chance to catch up with Strawberry." He smiled at Akame, who blushed at her nickname and looked away.

Akame: "Y-You... still call me that..." Dairoku gave her the nickname, Strawberry from their time in the Elite Seven, because her eyes, in his words, 'are as sweet and beautiful as strawberries'. Dairoku chuckled at her cute expression.

Leone began to drag Tatsumi with her as they all walked to regroup with the others, Tatsumi shouting that he at least has to make his friends' graves. When they arrived at the others, Leone had Tatsumi in her arms and with a big grin as Kuraime and Akame looked like robots with their stoic expressions and Dairoku just looked... normal?

Mine: "Your late! What the hell took guys so long!? And who are they?" The girl with the twin pink pigtails asked; she sounded very obnoxious

Leone: "Our new recruits! Two of them are even Akame's old friends!" She gladly announced

Tatsumi: "W-What!?"

Leone: "Starting today, you three are now one of us. Welcome to Night Raid!" Tatsumi was silent for a moment before he began to completely freak out.

Tatsumi: "WHAT THE HELL!!!?????" He panicked to which Akame said, giving him the derpy eyes,

Akame: "Give it up. When Leone has her mind set, she won't back down."

Leone: "As expected of my best friend!" She smiled cheerfully, patting Akame's head as Dairoku and Kuraime watched with similar derp faces. "Bulat-Cchi, I'll leave him to you." The guy in the silver armor picked up Tatsumi under his arm but despite his protests, he didn't let go.

Bulat: "Don't worry. It'll get better soon~ soon~ soon~" his voice echoed as sparkles appeared around him

Akame: "Mission Complete. Let's return." The red eyed assassin announced as the entire team jumped off into the night.
