Lubbock P.o.v

After my patrol, well, me figuring a way to infiltrate Borick's Mansion, I went back to HQ to report to Miss Najenda, and get some rest. On second thought, I will confess to Miss Najenda first, then do whatever I will do if she rejects me or not.

Once I've got to HQ, I searched for Miss Najenda, but she wasn't around. The only people in the place were Bulat, Sheele, Chelsea, and Bols. 'Maybe that blue horned bastard is hitting on her.' I thought while imagining Miss Najenda and Susano having a romantic scene. I shook my head to cast those negative thoughts aside.

I was sitting on the couch on the living room for almost one hour and a half. Everytime the door opened, I was ready to greet Miss Najenda, but to my disappointment, it was one of the others returning. The only people missing are Y/n, Susano, and Miss Najenda.

On cue, the door opened again. I looked at the door with entusiasm, but fate was playing with me. It was Y/n entering.

Lubbock: "Welcome back." I said with not much enthusiasm. I slumped back at the couch and sighed.

Y/n: "Well, that's a way to greet a friend. Were you expecting Najenda?" I looked at him and glared. His smile turned to a nervous one, and raised both of his hand. "The Boss. My bad." I looked at the cealing again, and sighed.

Lubbock: "You know I am." I crossed my arms. "The others are back except her. So, that means that the one who opens those doors is going to be her." He scoffed and chuckled.

Y/n: "You've finally decided to confess to her. I'm glad." He gave me a smile and a thumbs up. "I'm rooting for you. And if she rejects you, just come to my room and we'll talk or cope on your own way."

Lubbock: "Thanks man, I know I can count on you." I smiled, and he nodded.

Y/n: "Now, can you tell me where is the Imperial Arm that Zanku used? You know the eye ball? Oh, and some pen or ink?" He got confused as to why he need that Imperial Arm. Last time I remembered, he started to scream at simply touching it.

Lubbock: "It is in the closet where we leave our Imperial Arms. Top shelf, left side the moment you enter." I indicated with my hands. "And for the ink, bottom shelf, to your right." He nodded. "Why do you need the Imperial Arm?"

Y/n: "I'm writing a journal on what happened to me every day, and I want to describe each detail on what I saw and felt." He told me, but it felt like a lie.

Lubbock: "Like a biography of the experience in Night Raid?" He tilted his head side to side a few time.

Y/n: "More or less."

Lubbock: "Well, ok then." I said excited, ignoring the fact that it felt like a lie. "When this is over, and you finish writing it, I'll try to make loads of copy so we can sell it at our book shop." He gave thought and smiled.

Y/n: "It's not a bad idea. Thanks."

Lubbock: "No biggie. For the title, try 'My life with Nigth Raid' or 'Night Raid's Perverted Duo'." I smirked. He shook his head, and scoffed.

Y/n: "I'll think about it. Anyways, I'll be in my room. Good luck." He waved at me and walked away. I waved back, then I laid on the couch, waiting for the door to open.

I was nervous yet excited that I was finally going to confess to Miss Najenda. At first, I wanted to confess to her after this was all over, but thanks to Y/n, he gave me the little push I needed.

The door opened once more, and I looked at who it was. Once again, I was disappointed because it was Susano entering. I waited a few seconds, but she didn't appeared. I looked at Susano.

Lubbock: "Hey, where's Miss Najenda?" He turned to me with that face that doesn't show any emotion.

Susano: "She's by the river. She said that she wanted to clear her mind and think on some business." I stood up as quick as possible, and with determination.

Lubbock: "Then I guess I'll have to go to her! Thanks Susano!" I started to run, and got outside of HQ.

Few minutes has passed since I left HQ, and I reached the river. I was exhausted and trying to catch my breath. I took a deep breath, and sighed. I looked to my left, nothing. Then, I looked to my right, and there I saw someone sitting down on the side of the river while smoke was floating away. It was her.

I started to walk towards her with a smile. She turned to me with the cigarette in her mouth.

Miss Najenda: "Lubbock? What are you doing here?" She asked surprised. 'Crap, confessing is harder than I thought.' I thought a little nervous.

Lubbock: "W-Well, I was worried that you haven't returned with Susano. S-So, I came to check on you." I was more nervous now that I have her in front of me. She took away the cigarette, and gave me a warm smile.

Miss Najenda: "That's very kind of you. Thank you for your concern." She looked back at the river and her eyes were like she was somewhere else.

Lubbock: "Do you need anything? Water? Food? Company?" She turned her head towards me again. She scoffed in amusment, and patted the ground to her left side.

Miss Najenda: "The company would be nice."

I nervously sat where she patted. The distance between me and her was like I was reaching for her with my elbow.

There was a silence between us, but there were still sounds around us. Like the wind blowing through the branches, the river flowing at its' pace, and some crickets making their chant, I think that's what they do.

Anyways, I took a few glances at her, and she was smiling while staring at the river. 'If I don't say anything now, I might lose my chance.' I thought, trying to make the words in my head so I can tell her how I feel.

Miss Najenda: "Lubbock,..." I suddenly flinched when she called my name, interrupting my thoughts. "...can I ask you something... personal?" She looked at me serious, but like a calm serious.

Lubbock: "Uh, sure."

Miss Najenda: "Why do you fight?" I was shocked at her question. "What truly drives you to keep on fighting for the people?" I looked at her eyes, and saw trouble.

Trouble as in like she is having trouble in her mind. Something made her think this much. 'This is my chance.' I thought. I took a deep breath.

Lubbock: "I fight for you." She flinched in surprise and I looked at the river. "Ever since you came to my house, from the moment I saw you, I knew that I was going to follow you anywhere. Until now, I haven't regreted anything on my desicions because they are your desicions as well." I felt my face getting warm. "You are the one. You are my reason of fighting. It is you who drives me to keep fighting. And no matter where you go or what you do, I'll always be beside you." I sighed after I finished.

I looked at Miss Najenda, and she was smiling. A relieved smile. I felt my face warm up even more to see something unecxpected from her.

Miss Najenda: "Thank you Lubbock. I always knew that I could count on you." She took one last inhaled of her cigarette, then threw it at the river. She stood up, and turned around. "Let's head back to HQ. I'm tired." She started to walk.

I was shocked and surprised at her answer. 'Didn't she hear that I confessed to her?' I thought. I stood up, and turned towards her.

Lubbock: "Miss Najenda!" She stopped and turned to me. "I know that you can count on me, but I want you to see me more than just a friend or a comade. I want you to see me a man. I'm in love with you!" I abruptly and blurted it out.

She had a shocked expression and her cheeks turned a little pink. I was surprised at this sight even more. 'Does this mean-' I couldn't finish my thought because she spoke.

Miss Najenda: "I-I- uh... appreciate t-that you- um." She was flustered, and my smile grew a little. She sighed. "Listen Lubbock, thank you for saying your feelings to me. I'm happy that after everything that has happened, you have those sort of feelings. But..." I got confused and worried at the last word. 'But?' I asked myself. "...I can't return those feelings to you." CRACK. "There isn't time for a relationship in the current situation. And I can't give that attention to you." CRACK CRACK. "I hope that you find someone that can love you back. I'm sorry."

SHATTERED. The sound of my heart being broken echoed through my head, and felt it in my chest. I felt empty and like I was being squeezed every second. 'I... I was rejected.' I thought, looking at nothing. Maybe at Miss Najenda, but I was looking beyond her, not believeing that I was rejected.

Miss Najenda: "Come on. Let's head back to HQ." She turned around and started to walk away.

Lubbock: "Ok." I said without even taking a step. Not bothering to either. I looked at Miss Najenda and she disappeared through the trees.

Minutes passed, and tears were falling down my cheeks like a river. I wiped them off, but they still kept coming out. 'Damn it! It's worse than I thought.' I thought. I didn't expected that it would hurt like that, but it did. I was rejected, by the only woman that I thought she would be my everything.

Y/n P.o.v

I finished writing another page. I put the eye on one of the drawers, and put the papers along side it. I closed it, and stood up. 'Tomorrow is another night.' I thought, thinking of what other stuff should I put on the sheets.

I went to the window and stood there, looking at the view that I had. 'I hope that Lubbock is ok.' I thought.

Then, a knock on the door was made. I turned around and went towards the door. 'Don't tell me that Lubbock got rejected.' I thought a little worried. I opened the door, and it revealed to be Leone.

Y/n: "Hey Leone, need something?" Her eyes were covered by her hair, she was taking heavy breaths, and she looked tired. "Is everything ok?" She put a hand on my chest, and moved towards me while pushing. She closed the door, and locked it. "What are y-mmmm!" She grabbed me from behind my head, and kissed me on the lips.

She separated from me, and I finally saw her face. Her cheeks had a tint of pink, her eyes were half opened, and her lips tasted like beer.

Leone: "It's time... for our... 'Crazy Night'.~" I was shocked, and she was drunk.

Y/n: "H-Hold up. How much beer did you get?"

Leone: "The ten... rounds.~"

Y/n: "I-I-I need my t-ten rounds as well, don't you think?"

Leone: "No. You'll just avoid it. And I'm not going to let that happen.~" She pushed me to the bed, and she straddled me. She put both of her hands beside my head.

Y/n: "Leone, you're drunk. I don't want to take advantage of you like this. And shouldn't this be a special moment for you?"

Leone: "I'm not drunk. Ten rounds doesn't make me drunk. And this is a special moment because I'm with you and we'll experience this together.~"

Y/n: "Leone, I-"

It was after noon, and I was with Lubbock patroling Kyoroch. This town was far to the east of the Capital, so we had to map out every part of it. But before I continue, let me tell you what happened this morning.

I woke up, and Leone was still in my arms. I kissed her forehead, got off of bed, and went to take a shower to clean myself and refresh my body.

I went to the kitchen, grabbed two bottles of water, two pieces of bread, and some medical herbs. I left without announcing because I knew that Leone would try to kiss me or probably rape me in front of everybody. 'Guess she wants to show off a little.' I thought.

I reached to where Lubbock was, and he was sitting by the river, looking through the trees. He had puffy eyes and bags under them. 'He didn't sleep and was rejected.' I guessed in my head. I got his attention, and told him that we were going to town to map it out. He stood up, said ok, and walked towards the Capital while I was behind him.

On our way, he told me that he was sitting in that place for the whole night because Najenda rejected him. He explained to me how he felt, and how he feels now. He still feels like crap, so that's still reasonable.

Right now, I was beside him while he was drinking from his bottle. He and I had our hoods on, and we were analyzing our surroundings.

Lubbock: "...Then, I guess that she wasn't meant for me. I mean, I kind of was expecting it, but not like this."

Y/n: "There are a lot of girls in the Capital, Lubbock. And I know that there's one girl that'll be glad to have you."

Lubbock: "But none of them is like Miss Najenda." He frowned. I shook my head and put my hand on his shoulder.

Y/n: "I understand, but trust me when I say this. Soon, the girl of your life will be beside you and she will come when least expected." He looked at me confused.

Lubbock: "How can you be so sure?"

Y/n: "Do you trust me?" He nodded skeptically. "Then there's nothing to worry about. When the girl comes, I'll tell you what to do. And you better do it as I say." I told him very serious. "Remember, that this is for your own happiness."

Lubbock: "What about you? Don't you want to be happy as well?"

Y/n: "I slept with Leone last night and this morning." I blurted out. I covered my mouth and looked at him shocked. He had this murderous aura that meant: 'Run!'

============Timeskip============

It was night, and Lubbock and I were running because we were ambushed by two of the Rakshasa Demons. One was the girl called Mez, and the other was the big guy called Sten.

After Lubbock almost tried to kill me for saying that I had sex with Leone, we kept on patrolling and maping out the town, until this two came.

Y/n: "Lubbock, when you're cornered with the girl, I want you to flirt with her, stab her behind both of her knees, then kicked her in the face so you can knock her out."

Lubbock: "FOR REAL!!!??? YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT NOW!!! OUT OF ALL THE SITUATIONS!!!"

Y/n: "Like I said, in the least expected. And I told you to trust me. So please, trust me on this one."

Lubbock: "How can I when you betrayed the bro code!!!???"

Y/n: "It just happend, ok. But do this for your happiness. Tru- LOOK OUT!!!" I jumped behind him, and parried Mez' attack towards Lubbock.

Lubbock and I stopped running and took our stance towards the two Demons. They just stood there, looking at us.

Mez: "Seems like you two are good fighters. Maybe you'll entertain us before we actually kill you." I looked at Lubbock, and signalled him to say something. He didn't wanted to, but did it.

Lubbock: "As much as I don't want to fight a cute girl like you, but I want to live. Maybe you can join me for a drink later?" I was surprised that he actually said it.

Mez: "Aww, you're so cute. If we weren't on different sides, I would gladly go."

Sten: "Enough of this foolishness Mez. Don't you see that he is distracting you?"

Y/n: "Hey, big guy! Can't YOU see that their having a lovely coneversation? Stop being a cockblock and let them be!" He looke at me irritated.

Sten: "You dare to insult me!?"

Y/n: "I do. Now, quit your whinning, and let them be. Your opponent tonight is me."

Sten: "Such a big talk for such a small guy."

Y/n: "The last time someone said that to me, ended up eaten by crows." I made my arms be engulfed in purple flames and charged at him while he did the same. We both delivered a punch, and once they connected, our battle started.

A/n: Ok everybody, here's an announcment.

I won't be on Wattpad for a while because I have proyects and exams this week and the other for college, and I'll be hitting the book, internet, and getting some new pen so I can make it out of it alive.
