It was early in the morning, and I was heading outside my bedroom, when suddenly, Tatsumi appeared. I flinched.

Y/n: "Crap, you scared me Tatsumi!" I said in reliefed and irritation.

Tatsumi: "Sorry to scared you, but I have to wake up Mine so we can have our mission." He said in irritation and in a quick pace.

Y/n: "Hey Tatsumi." He stopped and turned to me. "Do you have the book which the boss gave you? You know the Imperial Arms book?" His eyes widened like he realized something important.

Tatsumi: "Oh yeah. I forgot." He searched the pocket inside his jacket. "The boss told me to give it to you, but I was in such a hurry." He took out a book and threw it at me. "Here. It tells you all about the Imperial Arms that exists. Not that I read it though, it's too long for me to read, and I don't have the time." I nodded.

Y/n: "You know the boss won't pleased to here that?"

Tatsumi: "Yeah, but lets keep it between us."

Y/n: "Ok." I shrugged. "Thanks though. Good luck waking Mine up." He waved and went towards Mine's room.

I held the book, looked at it, and went inside my room again to sit down and read it.

I set the book on the table, sat down, and read the cover. 'Existance Of Imperial Arms'. The book's title.

I opened for the first page and saw a info of an Imperial Arm:

Absolue Limitation: Erastone

Type: Crown or Ring

Erastone is to be a jewel within a crown. When activated, the center opens, shining a light upon the opponent in range of it. Destroying both their Teigu and the crystal itself, after which shattering upon use, the crystal can regenerate over time giving it a weekly usage.

It may be also shaped as a golden ring of average radius. When activated, a purple eye opened in its center, with black branching patterns appearing around the eye itself. Once its user chose their target, the ring shined a bright light towards a designated Teigu, disabling and destroying the weapon and itself afterward.

'Wow, that's wierd.' I thought. An Imperial Arm that can be a crown or a ring. I turned the page and saw another Imperial Arm.

Chaos Throw: Big Leager

Type: Six-orbs

Each orb is imbued with an element that activates once thrown. However, only half of them were shown. Once thrown, they will return to his hand.

The orbs' elements are the following:

Storm Orb: Created a large whirlwind.

Explosion Orb: Caused a massive explosion.

Flame Orb: Incinerated the victim on contact.

Ice Orb: Freezes any opponent it touches.

Lightning Orb: Stuns opponent with an electric jolt.

Rot Orb: Whatever it hits erodes away.

I turned the page again with amazement in my mind.

Animal King: Lionelle

Type: Belt

When activated, Lionel enhanced the user's five senses greatly and gave them danger beast characteristics, such as lion ears, paws and a tail. It also greatly increased their regeneration, physical strength and speed to animalistic levels. The belt granted the ability to locate specific individuals over a long distance. Some personality traits were affected as well, even if Lionel was not active. 

Y/n: "This is Leone's Imperial Arm. She looks hotter when she transforms." I said outloud. Then covered my mouth. 'Guess I'm hanging out too much with Lubbock.' I turned the page.

Blood Collection: Absordex

Type: Fangs

Imperial Arm to bite enemies in order to kill them, while also sucking out their blood. The victims of Abosorbdex bite desiccated but the details of this process aren't known yet. After absorbing blood from an enemy, wielder's strength and regenerative abilities becomes enhanced.

'Sounds like a vampire's trait.' I shivered at the thought of being sucked. I turned the page again.

Carnage Incarnate: Grand Chariot

Type: Armor

The stance required to activate Grand Chariot is exactly the same as Incursio's, in which the user will stab the key into the ground and the Danger Beast within will cover its wielder with armor. The Grand Chariot armor grants its user increased physical strength and speed, similar to Incursio.

Its full capabilities, however, have yet to be revealed and it is therefore unknown if it is more powerful than its predecessor, Incursio.

'Incursio. Bulat's Imperial Arm, and this is an advanced copy.' I thought, while imagining those two fighting. I turned the page once more.

Cursed Soul: Harvestlion

Type: Blood

This particular Imperial Arm doesn't have information of what it does. Just that it was given to the First Emperor by an unknown hooded figure. He ad a bowl of purple and black liquid in it, and said a few words:

'This is an Imperial Arm. Give this to a new born child, and wait until the child survive. If he does, he'll do great things in the Capital, and the liquid will stay within the child, and no one else will take it.'

With those words, the being left with the name echoing through the walls of the throne: 'Cursed Soul: Harvestlion.'

P.S. No new born child survived this foul liquid. If known that one survived, bring to the Capital at once.

This page turned from information to a note for the people. 'Damn it.' I cursed. No infromation about the Imperial Arm that was inside of him, just about how the First Emperor got it.

'Now that I think of it, I'm the only one that drank that liquid, and no one else could drink it.' I thought in suprise. The liquid was never found when Leone and I went to my village.

And that I'll do great things for the Capital. My mind was going crazy and I shook my head with my hands on my head.

???: "Har-vest-lion. Interested in that Imperial Arm?" I turned around and was met with giant melons close to my face. I felt my cheeks heating up, and I looked up. It was Leone.

Y/n: "N-No, I'm just learning all the Imperial Arms that exists." I stuttered. "Also, it is pronounced Her-vest-lee-on."

Leone: "Oh really? How do you know?"

Y/n: "I asked the boss about the Imperial Arm we were looking for on my village, and she told me the name. So now, I read it and nothing came up with it. No info about it, no powers, just how the First Emperor got it."

Leone: "Wow, that's weird." I looked down.

Y/n: "I know, and it's useless. If we encounter with this type of Imperial Arm, there's no way we can mmmph-" I was interrupted by Leone grabbing my head and shoving it between her breasts.

Leone: "Calm down sweety. Mama Leone is here to protect you." She said sweetly. I tried to get away from her grip, but it was strong. "Oh, don't be like that. Just let me ease your problems."

Suddenly, a loud blast was heard in the HQ, and made the place shake. Leone, with me under her arms, got out of my room, and looked to the end of the halls, but nothing.

Leone: "Is there a party that I don't know?" She asked curiously.

Then, a loud, high-pitch voice was heard. "Well, haven't you learn a thing about KNOCKING!!!" I then realized.

Y/n: "Oh Tatsumi. What did you do?" I asked.

I was in the Capital with Mine and Tatsumi. We were on a mission to, I actually did not know what was our mission.

Tatsumi: "Hey Mine, isn't it dangerous to come out like this in the open?"

Mine: "It is actually not, because we're not known by the people. Meaning that we're not in the wanted posters like those." She pointed at the wall where there was a few wanted posters of some members of Night Raid. I saw Akame, Sheele, the boss, and some dude that I had this vibe that I knew him.

Tatsumi: "And who is that guy over there?" He pointed at the guy I was thinking.

Mine: "That's Bulat." She said casually. I nodded with a 'make sense' kind of face. Tatsumi though, he was quite shocked at the revelation he just got. "After he joined Night Raid, he decided to change his looks."

Y/n: "Makes sense, but he is still recognizable. Despite his new look." I stated which made Tastumi looked at me.

Tatsumi: "How can you say that when that might be the worst before and after?" I shrugged.

Mine: "Since both of you are here with me, we have a work to do. Let's start our Municipal Census!" She raised her fist while screamming the last line.

Tatsumi: "I don't know what does that mean, but let's do it! Right Y/n?" I sighed.

Y/n: "Yay, let's do this." I didn't say it with much enthusiasm while raising my hands.

Ok, let's count what we did with each fingers we got. We went to eat some ice cream stand while Tatsumi was on the watch and Mine was happy, went to a lingerie shop, went shopping, and watch Mine changing dresses while asking us if she looked good. Now, if we count them, they are four stuff we did, but if we count at HOW many stores we've entered, now that's a different story.

Right now, we were sitting on a table where Mine was having a huge ice cream and tea, Tatsumi was having water, and I was having (drink) with my eyes closed.

Mine: "Phew, I actualy bought a lot." I took a peak at her, but then closed it again. "It's good to go on a spree on your day off." She sounded so happy. I took a peak at Tatsumi, and saw that he was, well, tired-ish. I closed my eye again, and kept drinking. "Oh well, mission complete.

The table and Tatsumi chair rattled with force. 'This won't be good.' I thought.

Tatsumi: "WHAT THE HELL!? ALL WE DID WAS GO SHOPPING ALL DAY!!!" Tatsumi yelled at Mine. I just shook my head, while I heard Mine smacking Tatsumi.

Mine: "How dare you talk back and raise your voice at your superior. Even Y/n knows who is in charge here, so why don't you take his example?" I shook my head while finishing my drink. "Y/n knows when to keep quiet and he respects his superiors."

Y/n: "Actually Mine, the reason I didn't talk during the mission, is because you think you know it all when you're just a pipsqueak." I stated while looking away.

Mine: "WHAT DID YOU SAY YOU... YOU!!!!" Lost of words. I heard a commotion, and turned towards the source.

My eyes widened at the sight of why there was a lot of people gathered in a place. Men and women, with some of their limbs cut, crucified.

Y/n: "W-What kind of monster would do this?" I asked under my breath.

Mine: "The only one who can do this kind of things is the Minister." Mine was beside me, and I looked at her. "That monster who uses people's weakest point for his own glory, and uses the young Emperor as his leverage." She looked serious, and was staring at the crucified people. "I swear on my life, that I will never become like that, and will survive on the winning side."

============Timeskip============

Tatsumi, Mine, and I were on top of a mountain, waiting for our target to appear.

His name is Iokal, and he is a distant relative to the Prime Minister. He uses the Minister's name to kindnap and to beat young women to the death. He is guarded by six guards, which they get the leftovers. In other words, they are all guilty of this crime.

Tatsumi was sitting on a branch with a binocular, while Mine was preparing her weapon which she calls it 'Pumpkin', and I was leaning on a tree trunk with my arms crossed while looking at the estate.

Tatsumi: "So this is the estate that Iokal lives." He said impressed.

Mine: "I can easily reached from here His head will be gone the moment he goes through those doors." Mine stated, ignoring Tatsumi.

Tatsumi: "And it's our job to guard you after  the shot. Leave it to us!" He gestured to both of us with a huge grin.

Mine: "Hmph. I'm not really counting on that." I shook my head. 'Just accept the help.' I thought. Then saw that Iokal was coming out.

Y/n: "Target on sight." I stated. They both looked at the estate and saw that I said was true. Tatsumi gasped.

Tatsumi: "There are some people surrounding him. They are civilians."

Y/n: "Tatsumi, calm down. She'll hit the target." I looked at him, and he looked at me.

Tatsumi: "How can you be sure about that?" He looked shocked.

Y/n: "I have faith." I shrugged.

Tatsumi: "But what if she hits one of those inno-"

BAAAAAAANG

Mine took the shot. Eventually, she hit Iokal. No civilians injured. Tatsumi's face was priceless.

I looked at Mine with a smile and said: "Nice shot Mine." She started to walk towards the rendezvous point.

Mine: "Hmph. Of course it was nice. Better than that, it was perfect. After all, I'm a genius sniper." (Mine and Saya, tsunderes claiming to be genius.) I shook my head and started walking as well.

Y/n: "Just take the damn compliment." I said harshly, which it came out harsher than I thought. I put my hand in my pocket and kept walking. Surprisingly, Mine stayed quiet.

The way to the rendezvous was a little difficult, but quiet as well. I felt a hand on my shoulder, and when I turned it was Tatsumi.

Tatsumi: "Are you ok?"

Y/n: "I'm fine, but it pisses me off that some people can't take a compliment or a praise without leaving a slide remark of their own greatness." Mine passed us, and flinched a little at my statement.

Tatsumi: "I understand, but lets finish the mission and everything will be tomorrow's joke." I sighed and we followed Mine. "Mine, do you think our pursuers are all dead?" Asked Tatsumi.

Mine: "Iokal's bodyguards were trained at the Temple of the Imperial Fist."

Y/n: "The number one Kung Fu temple in the Empire." I stated.

Mine: "Exactly. Which it will be difficult for the others to defeat them." She said without a slide remark. 'Guess that what I said ticked her off.' I thought. "Being related to the Minister, it gives you perks, benefits of having the best guards, and access to do whatever you want. It pisses me off knowing about that." She said with venom. She then turned to us and said: "I'll tell you about my past. Don't feel yourself special because I'm trusting you both with it."

I sighed and nodded.

Mine: "I come from the western border of the nation. I am half tribal. In the town, I was discriminated, pushed aside, and nobody accepted me. But that won't matter in the future, because once we make the new nation, diplomatic relations will open, people with mixed blood will appear, and there won't be anymore children that have to suffer like I did. I'll never let anyone discriminte me, never again." She said with ferocity and determination. Knowing about her past, gave me the realization of why she is the way she is. I was going to apologize when her face became all happy. "And I'll do plenty of job that will make the Revolution look my way, and they'll give me enough money to live like a celebrity!" I sighed, shook my head, and facepalmed at the same time. 'Just when I thought she was actually going to stay serious. Guess that's Mine for us.' I thought.

We were getting close to the rendezvous point. I looked up and saw a crow on a branch. It cawed while looking at me. 'Somethign will happen.' I guessed.

Mine: "We're almost there." She stated. "Guess that the mission is completed."

Y/n: "The mission is not completed yet." I started.

Tatsumi: "Not until we do the report." He finished. Mine scoffed with a smile. I looked behind her and saw someone ready to hit her.

Mine: "Both of you sound like the Miss Perfect of Akame."

Y/n/Tatsumi: "Mine!!!" I pushed Mine away, but the person that was going to hit Mine, eventually hit Tatsumi. I was going to punch him, but I was tackled. It took us far away from the others.

We rolled, the being lifted me, and threw me. I fell on my back, but rolled back and stood with a battle stance looking at the being who tackled me. The person was a male, with a reptilian tail, and claws.

Y/n: "I thought I killed you the last time we met!" I yelled at him, but realized that it wasn't the guy from before.

Guard: "So... you've met my brother, and you killed him. Now I know why he hasn't returned to me." He said with venom. His claws became longer, and his tail became alert or a little stiff.

Y/n: "Not to ruin your moment of mourn, but your brother chose this life, as you did as well. The life that being corrupted." I took my hilt and held it.

Guard: "It pays well and the benefits that we have is unlimited. Something that you low-life can't have." We started to circle each other.

Y/n: "At least we have the courage to do the right thing with our lives, and make it worth. And it's because of people like you, it ruins everything. That is why you deserve to die." He laughed.

Guard: "You don't decide who dies today. Because I'm the one who is choosing your fate!" He charge at me, with his hands ready to slice me.

I put the hilt on my left hand, made a circular movement with my arm while the hilt turned to a circular shield. I blocked his slash, move my arm to side, uppercut him with my right.

Just in case, I had a small practice with the hilt, and I made a few weapons that are offensive and defensive.

The guard used his tail, and grabbed my leg. He back flip making me go behind him while slaming my body on the floor.He lifted me and began to swing me from one side to the other, hitting the floor.

I turned the shield to a sword, and cut the tail. I was sent flying towards where Mine was, but luckily, I landed behind her. I heard a gun shot, and when I looked up, I saw that Mine killed the other guard. She turned to me, but she blushed madly.

Mine: "W-What a-are y-you t-trying to do you PERVERT!!!???" She yelled at me while making the thing of lowering her skirt. My eyes widened, I stood up, and took a huge step away from her.

Y/n: "You think I was trying to look under your skirt!!!??? I was thrown here Pipsqeak!!!" I said while my cheeks heated up, and I have a nickname for her. Then I heard a scream, not of agony, but a battle cry. I gestured Mine at him. "Shoot him!!!" Mine readied her gun, and fired, but the guard dodged every fire, took a huge boulder, and threw it at Mine while running behind it.

I made the sword to a hammer, simultaneously pushed Mine and hitting the boulder, making it break. I felt that Mine's gun was falling and immediately took it with my left hand. Suddenly, I felt a surge of power going through my body towards my hand, then it went to Pumpkin.

Pumpkin's surrounding became purple and black, and it started to charge. I looked at the guard and saw him ready to cut me. I made the hammer turn into  a scythe, and threw it towards him. He dodged the scythe with a jump. Pumpkin charged fully, I used my free hand to grab the side of it, aimed, and pulled the trigger. The shot came huge with the color dark purple, that covered the guard's entire body. The guard screamed in agony, and was disintergrated.

I was slowly panting, and lowered Pumpkin. I looked at Mine, and she was shocked. Tatsumi was the same. I gave Pumpkin to Mine, and she was hesitant to take it, but eventually did.

Y/n: "I'm sorry." I said with confusion in my voice. I was really confused of to how such power could surge through me, and transfer it to an Imperaial Arm.

'Was this my Imperial Arm? To transfer power to another Imperial Arm?' I asked myself, but it didn't make sense. One, because no one can combine two Imperial Arms power. And second, the name of my Imperial Arm is 'Cursed Soul'. Why is call like that I don't know, but I have to search further in this.

============Timeskip============

I was with the boss, privately because I needed to speak with her or rather she needed to speak to me. She asked me of what I did to make Pumpkin go with my will, despite me having an Imperial Arm inside me.

Y/n: "I don't know. I just grabbed Pumpkin, and suddenly it started to charge without me even trying." I explained.

Boss: "I see." She started to smoke.

Y/n: "Do you believe it has to do with my Imperial Arm?" I asked with too much curiousity.

Boss: "I can't say. It probably is, but it doesn't make sense." I scratched my neck with annoyance. "Let's keep this to ourselves, until you are fully aware of what is going on." I was shocked.

Y/n: "But, what about Mine and Tatsumi?"

Boss: "I told them to keep it quiet. They are just shocked and confused. For now, go to them because they want to talk. Furthermore, you may rest." I nodded and left.

I was going to Mine's room, but Mine was already waiting for me at my door.

Mine: "Finally you're here! Haven't you heard that it's rude to keep a lady waiting!?" Tsundere as ever. I sighed and opened the door for her.

Y/n: "You can come in." I entered first and sat down on my bed. She sat down on my chair with a light blush on her cheeks. Suddenly, Tatsumi entered with a surprise yet hurry face.

Tatsumi: "Mind telling me what was that all of a sudden back there!?" He pointed at me, which made me sigh again.

Y/n: "Listen, all I can say is that I don't know what happened."

Mine: "Liar! How can you say that if-"

Y/n: "I just don't know! All I did was take Pumpkin, and suddenly, power surged through my body towards it. That's it!" It all became silent. "I don't care if you guys believe me or not, but I can't understand either of what happened. I aimed and pulled the trigger."

Few minutes have passed in total silence. Finally, Tatsumi broke it.

Tatsumi: "Listen, whatever happened back there, it was shocking, but it was cool and you killed the last guard while protecting Mine. That's what you did, you finished the mission." I nodded. He then yawned and stretched. "I'll go to sleep, I'm very tired." He then waved and walked out through the door. "Goodnight guys." I waved back.

I looked at Mine, and she was fidgeting with her finger and had a small tint of pink. Abruptly, she stood up and pointed at me.

Mine: "Listen here newbie, just because you took my gun and used it doesn't mean that you're superior than me. Don't get it over your head. Also..." She lowered her finger and head while playing with her hair. "T-Thank y-you. F-For saving my life." I sighed with a smile.

Y/n: "We're teammates Mine. We help and protect each other. And I'm sorry if I didn't treat you right after you took the shot." She was blushing and waved her hands furiously.

Mine: "N-No n-no no, it's ok." She then  stopped and played with her finger again. "I'm going to give you a chance, to prove that... um..."

Y/n: "Mine, chances are taken, not given. And if you wanted a date, you just have to ask." Her face became full red and smoke came out from her head.

Mine: "D-D-D-Date!!!??? Wh-Wh-What are you talking ABOUT!!!???" She began to stutter and muttered.'This will be a long night.' I thought.
