I was sitting on one of the couch while looking at Y/n, putting some of his medical herbs with a cotton on one of the bumps on Akame's head. To say more, Akame had three bumps on her head, one on top of the other. It was funny.

After Leone rushed to the kitchen and beat Akame's head, Akame came out with small tears appearing out of her eyes and holding her forehead. From what she told us, is that Leone was being held by Susano. The others went to the kitchen and wait for their food, some to calm Leone down. Akame winced when Y/n touched one of the bumps.

Akame: "Does it look bad?" Y/n tilted his head a few times to the sides.

Y/n: "Nnnnnnnooo, not that much though." I chuckled, and they looked at me.

Lubbock: "I think you wanna build a snowman, Akame." Y/n gave me a glare that made me jump.

Y/n: "I think you need to go, Lubbock. Akame might turn you into dinner. Almost, or worse, like Leone did to Akame." I looked at Akame, and she had killing intent aura.

Lubbock: "IIIIIIII think that I'll head to the kitchen, see what Susano is cooking." I stood up from the couch and ran as fast to the kitchen as possible.

Once I arrive there, I sat on my chair as quick as possible, with chills still running through my body.

Mez: "You alright, Lub?" Mez sat beside me. Let me rephrase that, on me. She was sitting sideways while putting her arms around my neck.

Lubbock: "Yeah, just terrified from Akame." All of a sudden, she kissed me, but I didn't hesitate to kiss her back, and put my hands on her waist. She separated and touched my lips with her finger.

Mez: "Don't worry, I'll take away your fear tonight, and continue with round three." She gave a seductivve smirk, which I returned it.

After Lubbock left, I kept treating Akame's bumps.

Akame: "Hey Y/n, can I kill him after this?" I shook my head.

Y/n: "There are fates worse than death. I think making him feel embarrassed in front of everybody is the best way to do it."

Akame: "Do you have any plans?"

Y/n: "Something will come up." I kept putting the medical herbs on her bumps, and it seemed to be healing.

'...I just hope that her anger subsides. For both of our sakes...' His words echoed in my head.

Oh right, you guys don't know. When I was walking my way back to the camp, Run pulled me to an allyway. He talked about Esdeath's anger towards me. He said that he'll try to calm her so she would be reasonable to talk with.

Akame: "Y/n!?" My thoughts and explanation were interrupted by Akame. Her face was close to mine. Inhces away. I felt my cheeks warm up.

Y/n: "Wh-What is it Akame?"

Akame: "You spaced out. What were you thinking?" She tilted her head, not moving away from me.

Y/n: "I-I was thinking about the wanted posters. I d-don't know how I'm going to get use to staying here doing nothing most of the time." She put her hand on my cheek, making the heat rise more, and she started to get closer. "A-Akame!?"

Akame: "You don't have to worry about it.~ I'll make you get use to it.~" Then, she kissed me. She was embarrassed, I could tell by her red cheeks. But she was enjoying it. 'Leone must have got into her. Or maybe it was when Leone hit her head?' I asked myself.

Eventually, I kissed her back because of temptation, and it was Akame's sweet taste. It tasted like meat. Guess that she ate some before.

We separated because of air, and she covered her mouth while looking to the side. I scratched my cheek while looking away as well. It was awkward because it's weird to kiss your childhood friend, and to finally confirm that she has feelings for me. Not that I mind returning it though.

Y/n: "I-It was nice." I blurted out. It sounded more weird when it came out. I looked at her and she was nodding.

Akame: "I-I agree." She touched her lips, and looked at me with her eyes half closed. "W-Want t-to try that again?" My eyes widened, and my cheeks warmed up even more. "Y-You don't want to?" I shook my head.

Y/n: "Nonono, it's not t-that I don't want to. I mean, I do, of course, but umm." I was a stuttering mess. She started to giggle that made me feel embarrassed and scratch the back of my head. "H-Have you've been tainted by Leone?" She slowly shook her head.

Akame: "I want this. It's all because of you, that I felt this way. Ever since you've intervened the fight with Zanku, my thoughts, most of them..." She caressed my cheek, gave a loving smile. From what I saw, she was more opened towards her feelings than before, and it seemed that she was holding it back. "... are of you." We stopped kissing and looked at the direction of the kitchen door. There stood Tatsumi with a red face and looking to the side.

Tatsumi: "Th-The boss is m-making a meeting in the kitchen. She w-wants to talk to everyone." With that, he left to the kitchen.

Akame and I looked at each other, and nodded with embarrassement. We stood up, and went to the kitchen. 'I hope that Tatsumi didn't say anything.' I thought.

Once we've arrived, everybody was sitting there, including Leone. Tatsumi gave me a stare, and I shook my head with a warning glare.

We both sat down and looked at Najenda.

Najenda: "You feeling better, Akame?" Akame nodded. "Now that everybody is here, I have to congratulate everyone for the last mission we've accomplished. Well done." She started to applaud, and we've followed suit. Bols came in, with Susano, Kije, and Logue, with the last of the plates with food. They put them in front of me, Akame, and Najenda. Bols started leaving with his family. "Bols, you can sit with us. You know that." Bols stopped and looked at her with an apologetic smile.

Looking at the food, we had meat with vegetables and rice, and a cup of different beverage for everybody.

Bols: "Sorry, Najenda. It's old habits." He chuckled and sat down with his family.

It was a rectangular table, and everybody was there, including Susano who didn't had food in front of him.

The order was this: Najenda at the head of the chair, to her left was Susano, then Tatsumi, Chelsea, Leone, Bulat, Kije, and Louge. And to her right, was me, Akame, Mine, Lubbock, Mez, Sheele, and Bols. At the other end was nobody, because there wasn't a sixteenth person.

Najenda: "And I like to propose a toast." She took her cup and raised it in the air. We did the same. "For another step closer to our goal, and for Y/n's recovery. Because without him the other night, we wouldn't be here." She looked at me and gave me a smile. I returned it a little embarrassed. "For Y/n!"

Everybody: "For Y/n!" They all raised their cups a little more, and took a drink. I looked at Najenda and nodded my head. She did the same, and took her drink. I looked at my beverage and took it. 'For me, then.' I joked.

It was night, it had been a few days since our return to HQ, and a few more days from our escort mission.

During those day, I swear, there wasn't much to do. Only training, cooking, cleaning, and more training. I had to train because the fight with Zeth was luck, and now that Esdeath isn't in good terms with me, I have to train harder, just in case.

Run: "No, but it's about Esdeath." I looked at him with wide eyes, and sighed.

Y/n: "How bad is it?"

Run: "It's bad." I sighed and told him to continue. "She has returned to her formal self." I was confused.

Y/n: "I don't get it."

Run: "There was a point that her only thought were about battles, war, torturing, and Tatsumi."

Y/n: "And you're saying that she changed? I believe that she hasn't."

Run: "In your point of view, no. But to the others, yes. Now, will you let me continue or shall I leave you as dense as before?" I quickly signalled him to continue. "There was a point, after Tatsumi left the Jaegers, she has been keeping an eye on you, obviously. But then, slowly, it turned into a caring one. Her days in the torturing room were decreasing, her thoughts of battles and war were starting to be replaced for the well being of her underlings, and it's all thanks to you." I was shocked, but confused at the same time.

Y/n: "So, you're telling me that, Esdeath is..." He nodded.

Run: "She is in love with you." My heart skipped a beat. I didn't want to believe N/n, but now Run is telling me the same thing.

Y/n: "But isn't it too soon for the word love? And why didn't I see it before?"

Run: "There are no boundaries, no time, nothing. Love appears in the expected, unexpected, best, and worst moments. Esdeath doesn't know what she's feeling because she didn't felt it with Tatsumi. Maybe a fast beating heart, but to think of someone constantly, worries, care, and does everything for the well being of the other, is a different story."

I looked down and was thinking about everything for a minute. I shook my head in disappointment.

Y/n: "So, she really is in love with me." I said with disappontment. Run nodded. "And I, in other words, rejected her feelings and existence of my life. And now, she's angry because I did it, making her feel that way, and she doesn't know that it wasn't intentionally." This was the disappointment.

Run: "Yes you did." I shook my head, knowing of the mistake I made. "I just hope that her anger subsides. For both of our sakes."

Flashback End.

That's what happened with my encounter with Run. After those words, he told me to take care, and he left. Remembering about it now, makes my heart ache, knowing that Esdeath is heartbroken because of me. 'Damn.' I cursed to myself.

Anyways, I finished my solo training for the night, and went to my room to get my stuff to wash myself.

Most of Night Raid was out in the city. Mostly doing missions, patrols, or just walking around to have some peace in their minds. I had to stay because they forced me to do so. I wanted to acompany them, but they wanted me to stay and rest because I haven't completely 'healed' myself. I feel fine though.

I got my stuff from my room. My sleeping pants, a white T-shirt, and my towel. I started to head towards the bathroom, but I changed my mind and decided to head to the hot springs. To have a small change of pace and relax for the first time in the hot springs. 'I wonder how those feel.' I thought because I haven't been to the hot springs. Not a single moment I have been here.

Once I reached the hot springs, I took a good look at it, and it was nice. 'It's good to have some alone time for a change.' I thought while putting aside the stuff I brought, took my clothes off, and put them aside. I touched it with my toe to feel the temperature, then got in.

The heat of the water relaxed my muscles, it felt warmer than expected, and my mind was relaxing.

???: "Oh, you're here." I turned my head and saw Najenda standing there with her towel around her neck, with a sports bra on, and her black panties. I quickly turned around so I shouldn't stare too much.

Y/n: "I'm sorry! I shouldn't have looked!" I said embarrassed, and heard her chuckle.

Najenda: "You don't have to be sorry. After all, I'm completely clothed." I scratched behind my head.

Then, I heard something being thrown to the ground. They sounded like clothes being put aside. I didn't turned around to see what was going on, neither was I interested. Well, maybe a little, but I don't want to get punched in the eye.

The water moved towards me. I looked to my side out of instinct, and saw a small glimpse of Najenda's breast getting inside the water. I quickly turned the other side after seeing such a view.

Najenda: "You saw them, didn't you?" She sounded a little irritated and embarrassed at the same time, but it felt like she was smirking.
