Third P.o.v

Y/n has being struggling from the soldier's shoulder, so he could reach his mother. He kicked, pushed, screamed, but nothing seeme to work.

Soldier: "BE STILL BRAT!!!" The soldier was also struggling to keep the young one still to take him to the others.

Y/n: "LET ME GO TO MY MOTHER, YOU BIG OAF!" The soldier was getting impatient from Y/n's stubborness.

Soldier: "That whore you called 'mother' is dead! So shut up or I'll have to teach you a lesson!"

Y/n got angry because he didn't liked his mother being called a whore. From the back of the soldier, he grabbed the side of the mouth and pulled with all his might, making the soldier scream. The soldier threw Y/n to the floor.

Soldier: "This will be you punishment for doing that!" He kicked the seven year old in the abdomen, then punched him in the face.

The soldier turned around and took a few steps away to caressed his cheek. Little did he know that Y/n took a rock of the size of his hand with a sharp end and hid it. Three other soldiers got to where they were, asking if their captain was alright.

Captain: "I'm fine, I was teaching this brat a lesson."

Comrade1: "Well that's good. Little discipline is good once in a while." The others nodded.

Captain: "Correct. Give me a moment. Let me take the brat and we'll continue." The comrades nodded.

Y/n looked at the captain coming, he took a good look at him, and he was big, muscular, and red pupils with black sclera.

The captain picked Y/n up bridal style. With a quick movement, Y/n stabbed the captain with the rock on his left eye. The captain dropped Y/n and screamed in agony.

Not a second later after Y/n hit the floor, he stood up as fast as he could and ran towards the forest. Despite the pain in his abdomen, he kept running. From where he was, he heard the captain scream: "DON'T JUST STAND THERE AND GO AFTER HIM!!! KILL HIM!!!" After hearing that, Y/n with wide eyes started to get worry and tried to make alternate routes so he could disappear.

He kept running and running no stop, until he ran out of air, tripped on a log, and fell head first.

He pushed himself with his hands to his knees and saw that on the snow there was blood. He checked his face with his hand and he saw blood on his hand. He had blood on his right eye from the top of his forehead to his cheek. He tried to clean it with his sleeves, but what he managed to do was spread it more. He cleaned his eye so he could see, but it stung like a bee. Then, a caw was heard above from him. Y/n looked up and saw a crow looking at him on a branch. He had a weird feeling, but cast it aside.

He stood up, but then he was kicked from the back and fell again. He turned around and saw one of the captain's comrade. The soldier took his sword out, ready to kill him. To the right, there was another, then to the left was the last one. The one to the right took an ax out, and the left one took a spear out.

Comrade1: "You think you can escape from us like that? You sure are naive in that aspect." He laughed.

Y/n: "Please, let me go. I just want to get back to mother." Y/n begged.

Comrade: "After what you have done to the Captain. I don't think so. You shall pay for violation and agression towards an Imperial Officer. And the punishment shall be death." Y/n got scared and crawled away from the soldiers. The others started to move towards him, but the middle one stopped them. "This is one mine." The others nodded.

The middle soldier started to walk slowly towards Y/n, making it look menacing, smiling.

Y/n kept crawling away, until he hit a tree, making him stop. He looked side to side, a way to get out, but nothing.

The soldier was in front of him, standing tall with his sword raised, ready to slash.

Comrade1: "Any last words?"

Y/n: "Please, just let me go." He begged with tears in his eyes.

Comrade1: "Hmph. As expected from a kid that is about to die." Y/n's eyes widened. The comrade started to lower his sword. Y/n closed his eyes and raised his hands.

Y/n: "NO!" Then, the floor shook a little and a sound of flesh being stabbed was heard. Y/n opened his eyes and the first thing he saw was blood pouring down in front of him with dangling legs. He looked up and saw the soldier with something coming out of his chest. He traced the object  from the back of the comrade to the floor where it looked like it came out.

Comrade2: "Murderer!" Y/n looked at the one with the ax and saw he was running towards him.

Out of nowhere, a huge, light blue being appeared with a scythe, stabbed the comrade on his chest. He pulled him up and swung him behind him hitting the floor, then again. Until, he was thrown away and hit a tree. The being disapperead.

The other comrade turned around and was met with the being grabbing his head. Then, blood and tiny pieces of his head spread from the crush. The body went limp and dropped to the floor. The being looked at the body, then looked at Y/n.

Y/n was scared. After seeing the being, it was terrifying. He had a cloack with a hood, where his face was supposed to be there was a black void, like endless darkness, and his massive scythe. After that, the being vanished. Y/n looked at his surroundings, and nothing or no one was there. He was trembling and in shocked. Then, the sound of people searching made Y/n come to his senses.

???: "I heard screams this way."

???: "Lets keep searching." People were getting closerto where Y/n was. He stood up and started running away from the place. Then again, the crow cawed and flew off.

Captain P.o.v

Captain: "That kid will pay for what he has done to my eye, I'll rip him apart." We've reached where my men said they heard screams. And here I'm seeing three of my men dead. One was impaled with bone looking rod that came out from the floor, one was deformed in the arms and legs while almost hugging a tree, and the last one had it's head decapitated, but no head was seeing in the area.

It was outrages, just one simple kid could defeat three men. Impossible. 'He had help, but who?' I thought.

Soldier: "Captain Ogre. He is nowhere to be seeing."

Ogre: "Keep searching! He couldn't have gone far."

Soldier: "Yes sir!"

'Once I find you, I'll make sure you suffer before your death.' I swore to myself.

Y/n P.o.v

I was still running after I heard the soldiers looking for me. It was nighttime and I couldn't see much. Just the light of the moon was shining, but it wasn't enough.

Suddenly, I felt the ground changing its form. I stopped and looked at the ground. Then I saw that I was on the road. I looked at both sides to see which way I should go, but I was too exhausted to choose. My eyes were failing me to keep open, my legs were trembling, and my body was cold. Eventually, I fell to my knees, then fell forward. The last thing I heard was a carrige driving. I blacked out.

============Timeskip============

I felt comfy, the smell of fresh food to my side, and a towel on my right side of the face. Then, I remembered what happen and I sit abruptly, but felt pain on my stomach, and I put my arms on it. The towel fell from my face. I looked to my left and saw a tray of delicious food with steam. Meaning that it was recently served. I was going to grab it, but my instincts said otherwise.

I retracted my hand and tried to stand up, but the pain was killing me. I analyzed my body and saw that I had new pair of white clothes. 'Am I dead?' I thought. I looked at my surrounding and saw a mirror.

I managed to stand up and walked towards the mirror. When I was in front of the mirror, I saw the cut I had on my face. There was a vertical cut from my eyebrow to my cheekbone, and had a bruise on my left cheek.

The door opened. When I looked towards the door I got scared and backed away. The person revealed to be a woman. She had blonde hair and blue eyes. She looked at me with a smile and said: "Oh my, you're awake. Please don't worry, I won't harm you." I got more worried.

???: "Please, sit on the bed. I'll get my husband." She left and closed the door. I turned to the bed again and sat down, but I was hungry. Once again, I was going to get the food, but something held me back.

Suddenly, I had flashbacks of my mother's face with her smile, and her body being stabbed. Tears were running down my cheek with just the thought of her. I wiped the tears away when I heard steps getting closer. Then, the door opened once again, and there came the same woman with, which I presumed, was her husband. He had gray hair with brown eyes, and he also was smiling at me.

???: "Hello there, did you sleep well?" The man asked me and I nodded. The both took a chair and sat down in front of me. "Can you tell us your name?"

Y/n: "Y-Y/n."

???: "That's a cute name." The woman said cheerfully, which made me blush a little. "Can you tell us why were you on the road all alone and with blood?"

Y/n: "M-My parent and I were heading towards the capital, b-but they were... *sniff* k-killed by a danger beast. *sniff*" I lied out of instincts. I didn't know why, but I was already talking without even trying.

???: "Oh, poor dear." The woman said.

???: "How did you managed to escape?" The man asked.

Y/n: "M-My parents pushed me away, a-and told me to follow the road. *Sniff* I did as they told, but w-when I turned around I saw my m-mother being eaten, and m-my father w-was no *sniff*where to be found. *Sniff*"

???: "Oh. My sincere condolences." The man said, and I nodded. "Do you have any place to stay?" I shook my head.

???: "Then you can stay here as much as you like." The woman suggested with a cheerful tone.

???: "I don't opose to that." The man said.

Y/n: "T-Thank you. B-But *sniff* can I at least be at your services. I'd hate to be a burden." They both looked at each other. There were some shaking head some nodding head, like if they knew what they were thinking about. Finally, they both looked at me with a smile.

???: "Then, if you're going to work here, you should know our names. My name is Omura Okimura. And this is my wife, Layla Okimura." The one called Layla waved and I waved back. "Aria! You can come in!" The man called to someone. Then, a girl that looked like my age came running towards him. She had blonde hair and blue eyes like her mother.

Aria: "Yes father."

Omura: "Say hello to Y/n. He will be helping at the house for a while." Aira had this glint in her eyes.

Aria: "Really, so can I have fun with him?" Layla giggled.

Layla: "No. You can't have fun with him. But you can play tag with him. After all, he'll probably be your butler." I got confused. Both thing is almost the same. Playing and fun. 'What's the difference?' I thought.

Aria: "Ok. Come on Y/n. Lets play." I nodded and was going to stand, but Layla intervened.

Layla: "You can't play with an empty stomach. You have to eat." I nodded and was reaching for my food, but Omura stopped me.

Omura: "No. Not this food. It's cold. I'll get you another one." He took the hot plate and got out of the room. Then, the girl jumped on my bed, then sat down.

Aria: "Hey, can we be best friends!?" I got a little nervous, but nodded. Her eyes had twinkling stars, and she hugged me. "YAY!" I was blushing. Layla giggled. 'I think I am going to like it here.'

8 Years Later

That's what I thought eight years ago. Their innocent smiles, their postures of good family. That was crap. After a time in this house, I started to notice their odd behaviour, inviting country people, then they disappeared through the night. I started to search on my own. I saw a shack far from the house and inside there were people being tortured.

This family was corrupted, and I played along.

Also, during all this years, I've been training in secret, keeping my body and mind in shape, being their personal butler, specially to Aria. She was always clingy to me ever since I got into this place called 'home'. She even told me what she do for fun, and it was torturing the people who were naive and from the country side. I played along with her. She even says that one day she'll marry me once we are eighteen.

Anyways, I've done work in the house, the maids helped me with the chores, and warned me a few time, and I assured them I was fine. I planned on running away once, but there are too many guards, and I couldn't leave the maids with this monsters or they'll be questioned, probably tortured for my whereabouts. I couldn't do that to them.

Yesterday, two country kids came from the country side. The girl was Sayo and the boy was Ieyasu, and they disappeared last night, meaning that the Okimura family has taken them to the shack. 'Man, I wish I could get out of the house. I can fight a few guards, but I can't take the whole army, also there would be a price on my head.' I thought.

Today was a normal day. And when I say a normal day, is doing my morning excercise, chores, then at noon was going shopping with Aria. She was trying on some dresses that were meant for our 'wedding' and 'honeymoon', and as always, I said they all looked good on her.

Right now is night time, and I was in the carrige with Aria, returnig 'home'. Aria was talking to me about her plans tomorrow, which was shopping all day, but then she gasped and told the driver to stop.

I opened the door to her like always and she got off the carrige. I stood by the carrige and waited for Aria like always, while she was talking to some kid sitting on the floor. He seemed my age, with brown hair and green eyes. Despite been dark, I have incredible eye sight, don't know why. 'Guess another victim to the list, but something is different from this one.' I thought with so much curiosity.

I was brought back to reality by seeing Aria and the guy coming toward me. I opened the door and let them inside, finally I got in and told the driver to take us to the house.

Aria: "Tatsumi, this is Y/n. My butler and future husband." She gestured to me, and I bowed my head to him.

Y/n: "It's a pleasurre to meet your aquaintance Tatsumi."

Tatsumi: "Same here."

============Timeskip============

We were at the living room, and I gave the new guest his tea for him to rest a while. He was thanking the Okimura for the hospitality.

Then, he started asking a favor for being enlisted in the Imperial army and to find his friends.

Y/n: "If you don't mind me asking." He nodded. "What are the names of your two other friends? It might help the guards to search for them."

Omura: "Great idea Y/n. As expected from my future son-in-law." I just nodded and bowed my head towards him. I didn't liked the idea of marrying Aria, but what choice did I had? Is not like I'll be free from them.

Tatsumi: "Their names are Sayo and Ieyasu." I stood there frozen. 'Weren't those the same country kids that came yesterday?' I asked myself. There was no mistaking it.

Omura: "You heard him Gauri. Remember those names and search them in the Capital. I'm counting on you." Gauri, one of the guards that lives here and protects the Okimura family.

Gauri: "Yes sir."

Aria: "I have a hunch that you'll be seeing both of your friends soon. Please Gauri take him to the guest room."

Omura: "Hold it. Let Y/n take him. I need Gauri for some important bussiness."

Aria: "But-"

Omura: "No buts. Y/n, you have your order." I bowed my head towards him and the others.

Y/n: "Yes sir." I gestured Tatsumi to follow me.

We were on the hallway, heading towards the guest room. Tatsumi decided to break the silence.

Tatsumi: "Hey, are you sure that you are going to marry Miss Aria, because it seems that they only have you as a slave." I chuckled.

Y/n: "It's not like I have a choice, but not everything you see, is what it seems. Keep that in mind Tatsumi."

Tatsumi: "What's that supposed to mean?"

Y/n: "It means to keep your guard up around this family. Just a little warning. Now lets change subject, the walls have ears." He became suspiscious, but changed the subject.

Tatsumi: "You think I'll have a chance to get in the Imperial Army? I mean, I have the help from this family, but-"

Y/n: "Chances are taken, not given. If you want something and have the chance, take it. Don't wait for others to help you in your life's desicion, it's your for the taking. Remember that Tatsumi, it helped me once, a long time ago." He nodded.

Tatsumi: "Thanks man." I put my hand on his shoulder.

Y/n: "No problem."

============Timeskip============

It was almost noon, and I was outside shopping with Aria and Tatsumi, which I can't say no.

I was looking at Wanted posters, and there was a poster of the person that I've met eight years ago, my childhood friend, Akame. I asked myself how were Kurome and Akame a few years ago, until I saw this poster of Akame, and I was shocked of seeing her there.

I felt someone grabbing my arm and it was Aria pulling it and with a pout face.

Aria: "You seemed to have a lot of interest in this assasssin. Particulary this girl. Mind telling me why?" It was like a demand for me to answer.

Y/n: "It just intrigues me that there are people who are going against the Empire. Particulary her because she seem so young to be an assassin." I lied, thank goodness I've learned how to do it. Eventually she believed it.

Aria: "Ok. I thought you started to have a crush on her." She turned her back to me. I shooked my head and chuckled.

Y/n: "I wouldn't dare to turn my back to you." It tasted bitter than expected. She turned to me with a smile.

Aria: "I know you wouldn't." She turned around and skipped off to go to another shop. I looked at the poster one last time, then started walking to Tatsumi who was going to help the soldiers with the big box.

*CAW*

I looked to a building, and there was a crow staring at me. It felt weird like last time, but I didn't know what it meant. I shrugged it off and went to help the soldiers and Tatsumi.

============Timeskip============

It was night time again, and I had this weird feeling that something bad was going to happen. I was at my room on my desk doing some paper work when someone grabbed my shoulder and turned me around. When I looked up, it was Aria who suddenly sat on my lap without permission.

Aria: "What're you doing darling?" She had this seductive tone, which said something was going to happen.

Y/n: "Doing some paper work your father asked me to finish."

Aria: "Is there a time for me?"

Y/n: "I'm sorry, but I have to finish this work or your father will be crossed."

Aria: "I can handle my father. Besides, you won't have a chance like this again, until we are married."

Y/n: "I take my chances Aria. I don't wait for others to give it to me." She gave me a seductive smirk.

Aria: "Then, I'll take my chances on doing this." She got closer to me, to my lips. Mere inches, then there was knock on my door.

Gauri: "Miss Aria, your father send me to call you to his studies. It seemed urgent." Saved by the guard. 'Thank you Omura.' I cheered to myself. Aria sighed in disappointment.

Aria: "We'll continue this later." She said while standing up and caressing my cheek in the process. Then, she finally left. I sighed in relief and continued my work.

Few minutes later, I finished my work for Omura, but my attention was caught by the sound of a gunshot. I ran towards the door, opened it, went to the window to look what was happening, and I saw a few dead guards on the yard. I looked up, and saw the only people I know that can kill this people like this.

Y/n: "Night Raid." I whispered. I looked at yard, and saw Tatsumi running towards where the shack it supposed to be. Without thinking, I started to run through the hallway to get to the exit that leads to the back yard.

Suddenly I stopped and saw the body of Omura laying there with a broken neck. A few feet away, there was the body of Layla cut in half.

Suddenly, my whole body ducked, then jumped right beside the body of Layla. I looked where I was standing, and there stood a girl with purple hair and glasses with a pair of giant scissors in her hands.

???: "You seem quite agile, and your reflexes are good too. But you can't escape from you death. I'm sorry." She whispered the last part. She ran towards me with speed, and her scissors were open, ready to cut me in half. My body jumped back, then to the wall.

My feet were to the wall, then I pushed myself towards the window. I crossed my hand in front of my face and I went through the window. I don't know why, but it felt like my body was moving by himself, but I'm glad it did.

I was falling from the second floor, but when I landed, I rolled and then stood up. I looked up where the broken window was, and I saw that same girl looking at me with wide eyes and curiousity.

I started to run towards the shack, but I was heading towards a battlefield where a dozen of Imperial soldiers were fighting a man with a weird yet cool armor.

Two went down by shots, then two others were taken down by the armor guy.

I saw that one was approaching him from behind. On instinct, I kept running toward the guy, I grabbed a sword from the corpse, and grabbed the other on the way. I dodged to the side, and it seemed I dodged a bullet. A few more bullets were being shot, but I kept dodging them without even trying.

Finally, I got to where the soldier was, and I blocked his attack with the left sword, then stabbed him with the right through his head. I turned around and slashed the right sword upward to cut through the soldiers skull, then throw it towards the soldier a few feet behind me. It went on the other soldier's skull.

Soldier: "His with them! KILL HIM!!!"

I looked to my side and saw three soldiers heading towards me. The middle one was in front and the other two were behind him.

I took the spear from the dead soldier with my right, and I charged at them.

The middle one swung from above, but I blocked it with the sword, then pushed him behind me. I spun aroudn and stabbed the one to my right with the spear and made it go through him. The other one swung at me, but I let go of the spear, used both hands on the sword, blocked it, slashed to the right, stabbed him on the abdomen, and pushed him to the first one I blocked. With this diversion, I took the spear from the back of the corpse, aimed, and threw it to the standing soldier. It went right through his chest.

I looked at my hands, and they were trembling. I know I trained, but this was like I knew what I had to do without even planning it.

I felt that someone was approaching and I took a stance. When I took a good look at who it was, it was the guy with the armor. with his hands and spear up, showing that he wasn't going to hurt me.

???: "You seem to be a good fighter. Tell me, where did you learned such skills?"

Y/n: "I am self-tought." He nodded.

???: "Are you from the Revolution?"

Y/n: "Wait what? No. I worked here. I was their personal butler." I blurted out.

???: "Then if you were their personal butler, why didn't you run away?" He asked suspicious.

Y/n: "Because some crazy girl with giant scissors tried to kill me. So I evaded her by jumping from the window." I pointed at the broken window. He looked at it then at me. He lowered his arms.

???: "Then why help us? Why kill the guards that protected you for how many years?" I didn't want to lie, so I didn't.

Y/n: "Because I already know the corruption that lured inside those walls. I knew what they were doing, and it was terrifying. Also, I know the true darkness in the Capital." He nodded. "Besides, it felt right. Like it was the right thing to do." He nodded once more.

???: "Then come with me. If you already know what is going on with this world, then you should come with me." He extended his hand to me to grab it.

Y/n: "But-"

???: "This isn't a request." I stood there looking at his hand, but I didn't take it. It was a difficult desicion, until I felt a pain on the back of my neck and I was blacking out. "Forgive me." I blacked out.

Bullat P.o.v

I hit him on one of his nerve and knocked him out. I grabbed his body and threw him over my shoulder. I jumped to where the others were waiting for me.

And on that moment, Akame and Leone arrived with a kid.

Lubbock: "You three are late, we better get out of here soon."

Mine: "WHAT WERE YOU DOING AND WHY DID IT TAKE YOU SO LONG!!??" She looked at the kid on Leone's arm. "And what's that?" The kid was screaming about letting him go.

Leone: "A friend of mine."

Mine then turned to me.

Mine: "And that?"

Bullat: "This guy? I knocked him out so we could bring him. He has potential."

Mine: "WAIT!!! THAT WAS THE GUY THAT DODGED MY SHOTS!!!"

Bullat: "Yep."

Leone: "Wait, he dodged your shots?" I put the guy on my arms bridal style so that everyone could see his face.

Akame P.o.v

I was looking at the guy that supposedly dodged Mine's bullets. He seemed familiar, but I didn't know why.

Tatsumi: "Y/n?" The new guy said his name. Even the name sound familiar. Talk about deja vu.

Leone: "You know him?"

Tatsumi: " Yes. He was the butler of the family you guys killed. He even was going to marry Aria."

Leone: "Eww, really?"

Tatsumi: "Well, I thought he was, but not everything is what it seems."

Leone: "Hey, is that a reference to me?" I intervened.

Akame: "We should head back. We are already behind schedule." Everyone nodded. Leone picked up Tatsumi, and Bullat put Y/n back to his shoulder. I took a good look at him, and I want to know why he seemed so familiar. "Operation Complete! Return to Base!" With that we jumped to one roof to another.

Toward a place we call, Home.
