POV: Y/n

"So that's what happened," I said, seeing everyone in shock of my story and the fact that tears rolled down my cheek, "I was told the asshole who killed Julia was killed, and I destroyed his skull." "Y/n, I didn't know," Bulat started, "I'm sorry." "What do you mean Bulat?" I asked, curious as to why he was apologizing, "You knew my sister was killed by the Empire, so was the rest of my family." "I'm sorry because I'm the asshole who stabbed her." "WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!" I asked trying to keep myself from utterly killing Bulat where he stood. "Why did you not tell me?" "I didn't want to hurt you." Bulat said as I punched him in the face, avoiding all pressure points that were lethal, but still caused pain. "I'm going outside." I said walking out of the base. I walked through the woods for a few minutes before I found a few danger beasts. "Time to blow off some steam!" I cried transforming into my animal form to saughter the beasts, losing my senses somewhere along the way.

POV: Akame

After seeing Y/n leave I was at a loss for words. My god, I thought, Bulat was the one who killed Julia. "Bulat," Najeda started, seeing Y/n was long gone, "How did you survive?" "Honestly," Bulat started, holding his jaw, "I owe my life to a friend, guess he didn't want me dying, but as we were leaving, he told me to use Incurio's trump card to hide and make an escape. It was at that moment I decided to leave the Empire and join the revolutionary Army." "Wow, I didn't think of that." Tatsumi said. "Should someone go find Y/n?" Sheele asked. "I think he will be fine." Najeda said, "I'm still worried about him," Tatsumi started, "He seemed really upset." "You really are too soft." Mine snarked as I snuck out of the room.

I walked through the woods, following the cries of danger beasts as I saw Y/n in his animal form. "Y/N!" I cried, catching his attention. Before I could even blink Y/n was trying to kill me, with his punches knocking trees down behind me from just the air pressure. "Y/n stop!" I cred dodging his attacks, I know that in his base form I can somewhat stand on par with him, but in his animal form he loses almost all control. It didn't look like it worked, I could see the fire in his eyes as he kept swinging. "Stop!" I said using Murasame's sheathe to knock Y/n in the stomach. "GRRRRRAAAAAAWWWWW!!!!!!" Y/n cried facing the moon as two blades made from bone formed from his hands. He then slashed at me, I bare dodged as he actually cut a lock of my hair off, along with the small tree behind me. "Y/n I don't want to fight you!"

Y/n then threw a combination of punches and slashes at me, sending me back against a thick tree. I then closed my eyes as Y/n threw a punch at me. I heard his blades hit the tree behind me as I looked out and saw that the two blades were on each side of my neck, and his fist still in my direction. I then saw blood oozing from his knuckle in between the blades as a third blade emerged and inched towards my throat.

"Y/N!!!" I screamed actually fearing my own life at the time. "A...akame?" Y/n asked coming to his senses and retracting his new claws. "I guess I went to far, and picked up a new skill." "Listen, Y/n" I started, "I know learning about what happened with Bulat and your sister is rough, but I want you to know that I will always be here for you." "Thanks Akame," Y/n said falling down, "I think I overdid it there." "Let me help you." I said lifting him up. "Quick question," Y/n started, seeing the damage done, "how many hits did it take to cut down those trees?" "Only one." I answered taking him back to base. "So why did you lose control?" I asked, "I guess I entered berserker mode," Y/n answered, "I lose all control and fight only on my instincts. I've only entered this state a few times, so I don't know the triggers just yet." "Let's head back, I think there is a new target for us." I said helping him back to base.

POV: Y/n

When we got back I barely had any energy to stand, so I sat against the wall waiting for our orders. "The target this time is a blood relative of the Prime Minister." Najeda started, "A man named Iwokaru. Using the Minister's name, he abducts girls from the Capital and beats them to death. His five bodyguards also share his guilt in this. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT MISSION --- EVERYBODY WILL ATTACK!!" "Boss..." I started, barely having enough energy to speak, "Mind... if I... stay with... Mine to... restore some... energy? I can barely stand as it is." "I see no problem with you stationing with Tatsumi and Mine." Najeda said, earning reassuring looks from both Mine and Tatsumi. "Finally, someone I can trust." they both said in unison, "Hey, why am I untrustworthy?" "I just volunteered to do the babysitting." I said facepalming.

About an hour later I was resting in the tree Mine, Tatsumi and I were using as an elevated point. "I won't be able to hit him at this distance." Mine started, "I'll have to wait until he comes out of the compound to strike." "And then it's my turn after the shooting, right?" Tatsumi started, "Leave it to me!" "Don't you mean leave it to us?" I said, startling him. "Hmph." Mine snickered, "Don't get your hopes up, Y/n is far stronger than you, I feel safer with him." "Just line up the shot," I started, opening my eyes to see what was happening, "the sooner we get this done, the sooner we can go home and rest." "Are you normally this lazy during a mission?" Tatsumi asked. "No," I answered, "Berserker mode just takes a lot out of me." "Can it," Mine said tightening her grip, "he's come out." "Huh?" Tatsumi sad looking at the house, "Where is he."

"300 meters?" I asked, looking towards the house, "I'd say so." Mine answered, "Well," I continued, "the wind's dead, we're above him, so you're going to have to aim a little higher, but you know that." "You can't shoot now," Tatsumi started, "too many people came out with him." "Tatsumi just watch." I said as Tatsumi's eyes grew wide. "No way." Tatsumi started, 'Please tell me she won't kill any bystanders!" Just then Mine fired off a single shot. The bullet traveled so fast that it created a sort of beam that showed us it's trajectory. Our target then feel to the ground, dead from a gunshot wound to the head. Tatsumi looked in awe of Mine's shot. "You know," Mine started as I jumped out of the tree, "I'm a genius sniper." "Quit gloating in front of your boyfriend Mine," I said as I helped her out of the tree. "I'll shoot you next Y/n" Mine said in a menacing tone while pointing Pumpkin at me. "We don't have time for this," I started, heading off, "we need to get to the rendezvous point, the guards are likely on their way."

A few moments later we had neared the rendezvous point. "Geez!" Tatsumi started, low on breath, "These roots are hard to walk on. Do you think our pursuers have all been taken out already?" "Nope." I answered. "Those enemies were trained at Koukenji." MIne started, "They may not be taken out so easily. It's the best martial arts temple in the Empire." "I wouldn't say that," I started, remembering my teacher, "I had a better school, we were a family there." "So if you're a relative of the Minister," Mine started, "the grade of your bodyguards goes up. Doing whatever he wants using his relatives name for cover... is the type of thing I hate the most." "Y/n, has something happened in her past?" Tatsumi asked. "The answer you seek is hers to give, not mine." I answered looking behind us.

"Okay, as a special service," Mine started, turning around to face me and Tatsumi, "I'll tell you a story from my past." "I'm heading back," I started running back towards the targets body, "I have a feeling that we were followed. I'll be back." "Let us help you." Tatsumi said reaching for his sword. "No, you two lovebirds need to get back to base. Now go!" I said pushing them back. "Don't follow me!" I then ran back the way we came trying to form the claws I created earlier, and failing after lowering my mask. Guess they either activate in Berserker mode or when I go primal. I thought jumping into a tree to get a vantage point.

After a moment of waiting I saw about 5 guards run in after us and when they passed below me I jumped down. "Who's there!" One of the guards said pointing a spear at me. I looked around seeing my targets, I saw a spearman, three swordsmen and an archer. As the spearman kept me in his range the archer took aim at me. I quickly grabbed the tip of the spear and put weight towards the ground dislodging it from his grip and smacking him in the face, causing two of the swordsmen to charge at me. I vaulted up above the swordsmen causing them to stab each other. I then let go of the spear, falling down and tapping the heads of the swordsmen in a pressure point, causing their heads to explode. I then took the spear and stabbed the spearman in the chest, right where his heart was. This left only the archer and a swordsman left I saw the archer draw an arrow towards me, but I was blocking an assault from the swordsman when I pushed up on the sword, knocking him off his balance, the archer shot his arrow at me. I simply caught the arrow between my index and middle fingers and tossed the arrow into the archers eye. "Th-th-that's not possible!" The swordsman said bringing up his guard. "Nishi Shinku Ha. [Two-Finger Nil-Space Grasp]" I said drawing Water-Dragon Sword.

"Then you are the Hokuto Shinken user." the swordsman said swinging at me as I blocked the attack, "Y/n, you shall die by my hand! Especially for slaughtering my village!" "What village?" I asked as I redirected his sword. "Athenea." the swordsman said as he jumped at me. Athenea, I've never heard of the place. I thought as I defended myself. I managed to shove his blade away and I slashed at him, and killed him. "I'm sorry soldier." I said closing the swordsman's eyes. "Don't get cocky! Your friends are likely already dead." the archer said as he shot at me. I repeated the same action as I did earlier, blinding him before dashing in and killing him. I then grabbed his bow and some arrows before I ran back to where I left my comrades.

When I reach the others I had an arrow nocked and I was starting to draw it when I saw Tatsumi holding a man at the waist with Mine aiming at him. "Just fire already!" I shouted as I drew and released the arrow into the man's head. Mine then fired into the man's waist, killing him on sight. "I can't help but be impressed by... you?" Mine said as she was flicked in the head by Tatsumi. "Say what you want, that shot was far too close." Tatsumi said pointing at his head, "MY HEAD ALMOST TURNED INTO SMOKE THERE!!!" The two of them then started arguing and I noticed that Leone and Akame were near the area, watching over us. I decided to walk over to them to get ourselves moving and back in action after sheathing my bow. "Hey guys," I said walking up to the two, "We got it covered here." "I should have known." Akame said cracking a slight smile. "Let's say we get back." Leone said seductively. "Leone," I said facepalming, "You are far too animalistic for me." I could see Leone frown at that statement, "Let's get moving." Akame said walking towards the others. "Yeah." I said thinking about what the swordsman told me.
