Third Person's POV
"Aargh!"

A scream came from the dungeon of the palace.

A prisoner who is now being tortured by the sadist woman, Esdeath.

"You are just like my enemies. Weak! And you weaklings deserve to die!" Esdeath said as she continues the torture.

The prisoner did not hold any longer, he spitted out alot of blood from his mouth and lied down on the dirty floor, presenting that he is dead.

"Too bad. You only lasted here for two days." Esdeath said as she was about to walk away.

The prisoner suddenly stood up and attacked Esdeath.

Unexpectedly, Esdeath held the prisoner by his neck. "Today is your execution. It's good that you are still alive." She said sadistically.
"D-damn you!" The prisoner said angrily.
"Not my fault." She replied as she lets go of the prisoner and walks away.

Esdeath walked to her room anxiously, as she was waiting for danger and ready to dodge it.

"Tatsumi, wherever you are......I hope you are safe." She thought, "I wish to see you and be in my arms again, before the war between the Jaengers and Night Raid come."

Yukina's POV
I walked around the base in boredom, as I wait for Boss's command.

"Atleast I'm not an idiot like you!"

"I'm not an idiot!"

I heard two voices coming from the kitchen.

I smirked, looks like Mine and Tatsumi are on a fight again.

I went there seeing them arguing, and quarreling over something. I have no idea what is it. So I approached to them.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Tatsumi here, plan that someone will attack directly." Mine answered.

"Well you plan to attack secretly while some of us will be bait without our weapons! Are you insane?" Tatsumi shrieked.

I sighed.

"Both of your plans are great! Let's just put them together instead? But loose the whole bait without weapon." I explained.

"I quitely agree," said Karma who has been there the whole fight.

"So do I." Freya replied.

Mine sighed, "Fine," she uttered.
"Okay." Tatsumi mumbled.

"Yukina!" Someone called.

It was Boss.

"I am sending you on a mission along with Freya." Boss said, "Considering that you two aren't still known as criminals. You two will be going to the palace pretending to be palace maids."

"Do you want us to get killed?" Freya said sarcastically.

"Not at all. You two will be just spies disguised as maids for seven days in the palace." Boss explained.

"Then?" I asked.

"You will find out what the Prime Minister's imperial arm is. I have to know if he has an imperial arm or not. Above all, watch over The Jaengers and make sure that they won't spoil the plan." She said.

We all wondered.

"Plan?"

"Yes, me and the Revolutionary Army had decided that two of the Night Raid's comrades will be disguising as palace maids and be spies for seven days. On the seventh day, that's when we attack." She explained.

"So you are using us as baits?" I asked.

"Well, I'm a go for it." Freya replied.

I sighed, "Okay, fine." I said.

The next day...
Me and Freya dressed up like an ordinary people as we walked in the palace.

We were illegally applied as palace maids. As we went in the palace. The first person we saw, a navy blue-haired boy, Wave.

"Hey! You must be actually the new palace maids." He greeted.

"It's great to see you again, Wave." Freya greeted.

"Oh same goes to you---.......wait? Freya?" He got surprised.

He stared at the long blonde-haired girl.

In my boredom, I rolled my eyes and broke their stare. "Hello! I'm still here!" I said.

"Oh sorry, Yukina!" Freya snapped out of her trance.

"Oh, sorry! I'm Wave, by the way!" He greeted.

"Yeah! Hey!" I said bummerly and walked out.

Freya and Wave followed me.

"Don't worry! You'll get use to her" Freya said with a smile.

Wave smiled at blonde-haired girl. "I think you are right." He said.

I did not mind them as I rolled my eyes. They are having conversation which I'm not interested about it. Until I saw a black-haired boy entering the Conference room.

I don't know, but that boy seems familiar.

I rememebered, he was Freya's brother. That boy, is here......does Freya know this?

"Y-you guys go ahead! I'll catch up to you at the throne room." I said and run-off.
"Okay!" I heard Freya.

I followed the boy inside the conference room as I peek inside.

I hid behind the couch.

"Things are going to get tricky." I mumbled.
"Who's there?" The boy asked.

Crap! He must have heard me.

"I know you are there! Show yourself!" He ordered.

I took a deep breath and let it out as I slowly went out of my hiding place.

"Sorry! I just got, a bit lost! Do you know where the throneroom is?" I acted that I'm lost.
His face changes a bit but soon turns back to normal, "Oh, sure!" He said and escorted me to the throneroom.

As we walk there, there was an awkward silence.

"You must one of the new palace maids." He said, "I'm Finn by the way." He introduced.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Yukina. And yes, I'm one of the new palace maids." I replied.

Luckily he did not recognize me, since when he first saw me, I'm wearing my disguise.

He smiled at me.

But as I looked deep in his eyes, I can notice doubting.

"This guy has something up his sleeves." I thought.

At the throneroom....
"Thanks Finn! I can take it from here."
I said.

I stood next to Freya who is looking nervous.

"What took you so long?" She whispered.
"Sorry!" I said.

I looked in front seeing a child sitting on the throne as a fat big man stood next to him.1

A lady with blue hair was sitting at the couch which is next to the throne. Esdeath.

Well, first we introduced ourselves then......to my boredom, I did not listen that much.

After that, we are told to change in our uniforms.

"You, long black-haired girl! May I have a word with you?" Esdeath asked.

My eyebrows twitched.

I turned to Freya and signaled her to go on. She followed.

I approached to Esdeath avoiding eye contact.

"Yukina, am I right?" She asked.
"Mhm." I nod still looking away.

She held my chin, lifted it up making me face her. In her eyes, I can see danger.

"I can see within you, that you have experience in killing." She said.

My heart beated fast as I got nervous.

"Oh, i-it's because th-that....." I stuttered as I took a deep breath, "It's because that I'm secretly an assassin during the night." I replied.

She smiled at me. "You can go." She said, and I left.

Third Person's POV
"Hm....something is not right about Yukina." Esdeath wondered.
