Sania appears to be sweetheart. She claiming to be my best friend went to the kitchen to prepare something for the three of us while I and Risabh sat next to each other in the red sofa. I don't know if he really was my best friend since I felt a bit uneasy around him. Although I had been avoiding eye contact I could still feel him eyeing at me in a way a friend would never do.

"Pancakes with maple syrup" Saina screamed as she headed out with two plates in both of her hands.

"Delicious. Just the way we love it isnt it Kaira?" Rishab said

"Huh?Yeah!" I said trying to remember the last time I ate pancakes. Sania kept the plates on the caramel round table as she sat in the sofa next to Rishab. Both of them looked at each other as they shared the pancake from one plate. They do look happy. I think it was I who was presuming stupid stuffs.God!

Sania is such a nice girl and Rishab looks like all into her.

" Why are you guys sharing from one plate have a bite from here too" I exclaim.

"Awww thats like my Kia baby" Sania pouted as Rishab planted a soft peck on her cheeks. Is this what couples look like?This much mushy. If Manish and I are dating then why do we not share the same vibes.

"Where are you Kia?"Rishab nudged "You're alright?"

"Huh. I am" I spoke tapping my fingers on my forehead "I just feel so lost"

"We understand" They said in unison "Being an amnesiac sucks,you are lucky that You have something to take care of all this without a fuss"

I hummed in response. I did feel ashamed of myself for not being grateful to my boyfriend.

"Ho..how long have I and Manish known each other for?"I stammered

"Let me start from the start.."Sania said as she rose up and took the seat next to mine in the double seated sofa. "You and Manish have been dating each other since you were in 10th grade. We met in University and just on the verge of your passing out we persuaded you to tell your parents about your prolonged relationship but you wanted them to know after you have got placed. So.." She paused to take breath

"Manish joined as the CEO of their family buisness and they recruited you too.. You told your parents that both of you wanted to marry and were going to meet them but...." She stopped short and ofcourse I knew what happened next. I could see it now too.

"Umm. What did I do?like as for profession" I asked to divert the topic.

"You were a corporate lawyer. You and I studied in the department of law where as Manish and Rishab studied in the Department of Buisness Administration. You two owe us for linking us up" She spoke

"And Ved?" I mumbled.Fuck Kaira.

"What?"Sania broadend her eyes as she looked at Rishab who bore an expression as though I have uttered the name of a Zombie. Like what?

"Who told you about Ved?" Rishab spoke in a soft yet striking way.

"I..I just saw him on my instagram" I mumbled

"Do you even know what are you doing?" Sania said as she grabbed my hand making me turn and wince.

"I just thought about asking you"
I said.

"He is nobody"Sania said "You have no idea what he has done to Manish.Dont hurt that generous boyfriend to the extent that he starts to hurt..." Sania sighed.

"Hurt what Sania?" I asked.

"Himself"

She said as she took the last bite from my plate. Manish hurts himself. Uggghh.

"Anyways we better go. " Rishab said signalling Sania to stand up "Manish would be here anytime"

"Don't you guys wanna meet him?"I asked.

"We..we have work" Sania said as she abruptly rose up and gave me a goodbye hug. Why do I feel that I have been presented an incomplete and distorted picture?Why do I feel that they don't want to meet Manish and whats the thing with Ved.

As both of them departed I locked the door and unlocked my phone. I went to my instagram and opened the name of Ved Chaudhury..
