Part 13: Tu Jaane Na

Sanskar wasn't sure about his feelings but all he knows is to lock them away. Lakshya's phone longs and he looks at it.

It was Kavita's message. 'Swara is going Paris tomorrow, we need to stop her.'

'How?' Lakshya replies back.

"Lucky. I've decided to return back to London." Sanskar utters after he had composed himself.

"You what?!" Lakshya shockingly responds after realising what Sanskar had said.

"Going London." Sanskar repeats and Lakshya looks on surprisingly.

"But Bhai. . ."

"That would be better Lucky." Sanskar sniffs and stands up.

"Bhai, calm down. Sometimes the decision you make when you're emotional makes you regret. Calm down and. . ."

"No Lucky, this is my final decision." Sanskar interrupts and walks out from the study room.

'Bhai's leaving to London too.' Lakshya quickly messages Kavita and stands up.

His phone pings and he stares at it. 'You try stopping him and I'll try stopping her.'

It was morning, Swara had already started packing while Kavita was talking to her.

"Swara, don't take this decision in a hurry. Think about it."

"I made my mind Kavita." Swara sternly responds and finishes packing.

Sanskar also finishes packing.

"Bhai, please don't go. Think about Chachi and Chachu, they were so happy you came back after 18 years and now, you're suddenly leaving. Please Bhai."

Sanskar inhales a deep breath and looks at Lakshya "I'm sorry Lucky. I need to leave."

"Chhore, you can't leave like this. Why are you leaving?" Sujata asks as she rushes inside his room, seeing him sipping his suitcase.

"Sanskar. What happened?" AP asks and Sanskar avoids eye contact.

"I need to go, there's an important deal I need to crack it." He utters a lie and the servant walks in, grabbing his suitcase.

"Sanskar. . ." Before Sujata could complete, Sanskar walks outs. AP holds Sujata's hand, consoling her.

DP and RP had nothing to say, assuming it is a business deal he needs to crack, they didn't object in him leaving.

Sanskar had exited the Maheshwari mansion and sat in his car. Lakshya, who felt helpless stood in the room looking outside the window.

Swara had also sat inside her car, Sharmishta and Shekhar allowed her so that she could build her career.

Kavita wasn't happy at all. "Swara, listen to me." Kavita utters as she sat besides Swara inside the car.

"Kavita please." Kavita opens the door frustratedly and steps out. She then slams the door and the driver begins to drive.

As the car drifts away, Swara's eyes moist, she doesn't know what she is doing is right or wrong but all she knows it's for the betterment.

Airport:

Sanskar had checked in and was now sat on the seats, waiting to board the flight.

A small girl who was few seats away begins to play music on his small tablet.

"Maa! See, Varun Dhawan." The girl happily chirps and her mother simply smiles.

Ranjhan dhoondhan main chaleya
Ranjhan mileya naa ye...
Jigraan vichon agan laga ke Rabba
Laqeeran vich likh di judaai

Sanskar turns his head to the side and looks at the girl who was heading this song.

Kho gaya, gum ho gaya

On the other side, Swara was listening to this song on her radio.

The car stops with a jerk bringing Swara to senses and she looks forward. People began to cross roads. After the road was clear, the driver begins to drive again and as he started the car, a fast approaching lorry dashes into their car, making the car tilt to the side and then upside down.

Swara and the driver were shocked. The car finally stopped on the head while the wheels were rolling in air.

Swara's head began to bleed while her body was feeling numb. She slowly closed her eyes and coughed out blood.

People began to rush towards them. They manage to drag Swara and the driver out from the car.

"Call the ambulance!" Someone yells.

In the airport, Sanskar's flight was announced, he was too busy in his thoughts that he did not realise.

The girl and her mother gets it and walk forward, while walking forward, the girl accidentally steps on Sanskar's foot and brings him back to senses.

"Sorry uncle." She apologises and Sanskar curves a small faint smile.

Another announcement was being made, Sanskar realises and stands up.

He begins to walk to board the plane.

Swara and the driver were on the stretcher, being taken away by the doctors.

Sharmishta, Shekhar and Kavita rush inside the hospital with shocked expressions.

Sanskar boards the flight but as he finds his seat, his phone begins to ring and he looks at it. It was Lakshya.

He disconnects the call and after few minute, his phone pings and he stares at the screen.

'Bhai, Swara is in the hospital! Her accident happened.' Sanskar's heart skipped a beat and he stumbled back after reading that.

"Sir, are you okay?" The flight attendant asks and Sanskar looks at her, he then runs out. Confusing everyone.

Each time he thinks about the message and reading that Swara had an accident, fear overtook his mind and heart, scaring him.

He ran inside the main airport and then headed towards the exit. His legs kill and want him to stop but he doesn't care, all he cares about now is his Bitto. The pain she must be in was nothing compared to the pain he was feeling while running, anyhow he had to reach Swara and on the way out, he phone Lakshya.

**
City Hospital:

Swara was taken inside the operation theatre and so was the driver but the driver was in a different one.

The doctors rushed inside the room while the other doctors who were present there begin to treat her.

The other doctors start to get ready for the surgery.

"Call Doctor Sahay." One of the Doctor says and the nurse walks out, following his order.

The doctors who rushed in stand on the side and start assessing the doctor treating Swara. While another Doctor enters.

"Thank god you're here Doctor Sahay. She's all yours." The doctor that was treating her utters and moves away.

Doctor Sahay was handed the mask and coat which he wears, he then wears the gloves and walks towards Swara.

"Don't just stand there, come here." He yells at the interns and they start rushing towards him.

The doctor who was earlier treating Swara leaves as she wasn't specialised to do this surgery.

The interns begin to help Doctor Sahay treat Swara.

Loads of wires were being plugged on Swara and her oxygen levels were being checked.

"Sir, we're loosing her." One of the intern shouts who was staring at the monitor.

"And what should you do in that situation?" He asks and the interns point at the defibrillator.

"It has a name!"

"D. . . Defibrillator." One of the intern utters and Doctor Sahay shakes his head.

"Why are you wasting your time? Do it then!" The interns move away, occupying themselves in other stuff and Doctor Sahay shakes his head in disbelief. He then picks the defibrillator and prepares it.

He then places the two on her chest, giving her a shock. He does it once again and Swara's breathing stables. One of the intern then makes Swara wear the oxygen mask.

Outside the operation theatre. Sanskar and Lakshya rush in while Sharmishta was crying and Shekhar was consoling her. Kavita sees them and Sanskar stops, his eyes were moist.

He could hear his heartbeat, it felt like it was slowly about to fade. There was a silence but in between that silence beat his scared heart.

"She's in the operation theatre." Kavita softly says while pointing at the theatre. His gazes shift there and he stares at it.

The theatre door opens and a male intern walks out, taking his mask off. They look at him.

"She needs blood as soon as possible. Anyone here who's AB positive?"

"AB positive?" Kavita asks.

"Ji." He responds and Kavita shakes her head.

"I'm AB positive." They hear a voice and turn around, it was Ragini. She had finally come and rushes there.

"My blood group is AB positive."

"Can you please come with us." Ragini shakes her head positively. Sharmishta looks at her with teary eyes and Shekhar faintly smiles. Ragini follows the intern.

After a while Ragini walks out while the nurse and intern enter the theatre with blood bags.

"Ragu." Sharmishta utters and Ragini walks towards her.

"Maa, don't worry. Nothing will happen to Swara." Ragini says and hugs her, Shekhar also hugs them.

Sanskar was in his world, thinking about Swara.

It was as if his heart was singing this due to the fear and pain.

Swara was inside the theatre, getting operated.

Sanskar was silently praying while the rest stood worriedly.

The theatre light finally switched off and Doctor Sahay walks out with his five interns.

Everyone stare at the doctor, waiting for him to say what their heart wants to hear.

"She's out of danger." Hearing the Doctor's words, everyone sigh a relief and get happy.

Sanskar's breath returned and he closed his eyes, absolutely glad knowing nothing happened to his Bitto.

"But she's weak and needs absolutely rest. We will shift her to the ward and after that all of you can see her." The doctor says and they all nod their heads.

After a while, Swara was shifted to the ward and was laying down with her eyes closed. While everyone walked inside, Lakshya and Sanskar stood outside and looking inside from the circle glass carved on the door.

Swara opens her eyes feeling everyone's presence.

A small smile of relief curves up Sanskar's eyes but seeing her in bandage, with oxygen mask and in critical condition pained him.

Swara could barely keep her eyes open, all she wanted to do is sleep. Her wounds, cuts and injury pained her a lot and the only way she could not feel that pain was to be unconscious. Small droplets fall out of her eyes and onto the pillow. She manages to see Ragini but the medicine affect was too strong, she had closed her eyes and dozed off.

Sanskar walks inside, Sharmishta couldn't see Swara's condition and walks out while crying. Ragini follows her out with teary eyes.

Kavita's tears drop and Shekhar painfully closes his eyes. He couldn't take and walks out as tears dribbled down his eyes.

Sanskar approaches her slowly and his eyes moist as he sees her. She had a broken nose, bruised cheek, a cut lip and a bandage around her head with a blob of blood visible.

The oxygen mask was helping her breath and the blood was being transfused. Her pale skin was the evidence that she needed blood.

He slowly takes his hand towards hers and places it on his hand, their palms touch each other, he falls on his knees and he closes his eyes, slowly bringing her hand to his forehead.

He was grateful she survived, he now knows the importance of her in his life and the reason why he's crying. He doesn't know why but being with her makes him happy but it also pains when she says she doesn't want to be with him.

He slowly opens his eyes and lifts his head up, looking at Swara with teary eyes.

Kaise bataayein, kyun tujhko chahe, yaara bataa na paaye.

He painfully smiles while looking at her.

Baatein dilo ki, dekho jo baaki, aankhein tujhe samjhaye.

Tu jaane na .. tu jaane na .. tu jaane na .. tu jaane na
