Part 8: Laal

The past continues as Kavita walks away into the cabin.

After the ambulance arrived, they took Sahil and Swara stood besides Kavita.

Kavita's heart wasn't willing to forgive Sahil but Swara felt as if he actually means it.

The whole time during college, Swara was remembering Sahil's words.

After college, she goes to meet him in the hospital but was surprised when his name wasn't in the record book.

"Are you sure? He was taken by the ambulance 2 hours ago. Sahil Agarwal?" The nurse at the reception shakes her head negatively and Swara creases her forehead confusingly as she turns away from the reception desk.

"Was Kavita right about him acting?"

Swara then sees Sahil's friend walking towards a room, she then follows and he enters a room. Swara sees Sahil laying on the hospital bed with oxygen mask on.

"If he's here then why did the nurse lie?" Swara asks herself.

"Because he told her not to tell anyone where he is admitted. He doesn't want anyone to know." Swara turns and sees his other friend with a bag of fruits standing behind her.

Swara then looks at Sahil and then walks away. His friend enters the room.

"She's gone, now you can wake up." His friend utters and Sahil opens his eyes, sighing while taking off the oxygen mask.

His other friends then bring an unconscious old man from behind the green curtain.

"Now place him back on his bed. I'm done for today." Sahil says and stands up from the bed.

His friends drag that old man and make him lay down, they then attach the oxygen mask on him and begin to leave.

"How were you so sure she would've came?" His friend asks.

"It was a guess, until I saw her heading towards the hospital." His other friend says.

He was the one who had informed Sahil as he was in college keeping an eye out on her.

Sahil and his friends then leave the hospital and Kavita comes inside. She goes up to reception.

"Where is room 205 on ground floor?"

"Right there." The nurse directs and Kavita walks there as she had received Swara's message that Sahil is admitted into hospital.

Kavita stands outside the door and looks inside, seeing the old man laying there.

"As I thought." Kavita says to herself and phones Swara.

Swara picks up. "Where is he Swara? I can't see him."

"He is there." Swara responds from the other side.

"He isn't, he lied to you." Kavita says and disconnects the call.

She then walks out of the hospital.

Swara was walking home while thinking. There she sees Sahil and looks on, she was about to cross but a car whizzed past and Sahil disappeared, Swara looks around to search for him.

She then looks away, her eyes then land on the tea stall guy who was Sahil. She confusedly looks down and then back up, to her surprise, it was someone else.

"Eee! What's happening to me, why am I seeing Sahil everywhere?!" Swara mummers to herself and increases her speed while looking down.

Sahil, who bent down to hide stood up and unbuttons his shirt to change out of a tea stall guys shirt, he then sees Swara walking away with a smirk curved on his lips.

Swara hurriedly enters her house and into her room.

"Shona, you're back? What happened?" Sharmishta asks as she enters Swara's room.

"Maa. . . Nothing, I'm just tired." Swara says and lays down on her bed.

"Take rest, I'll be back later." Sharmishta says and walks out.

Swara sighs and closes her eyes, ending up falling asleep.

It was morning and Swara was all ready for college, walking on the road.

On the way she meets Kavita. "Hey Swara, come, we will go together." Kavita says, Swara at first hesitates but then joins Kavita and the two go to college in Kavita's car.

After reaching college, they start walking for lesson.

"Are you sure you didn't see Sahil there?"

"Yes, I didn't." Kavita says and Swara was confused. "But I saw him there."

I don't know how you saw him there but when I went to see him, he was not there at all."

Swara was confused, she remembers seeing Sahil there, Kavita then sees some people move into the same room again, she walks in that direction and Swara follows, the two then peek in from the window and see Sahil talking, Swara was shocked.

"Be careful! These drugs shouldn't be harmed." Sahil shouts, shocking Kavita and Swara.

"Drugs?" Swara gasps.

Kavita takes her phone out and records it. "This Sahil will definitely be exposed!" Kavita whispers and starts to capture Sahil talking about drugs and the men stocking them in the room.

Sahil then notices Swara and walks out but he sees no one there.

Kavita and Swara has ran out of college after recording. Kavita hands Swara the phone. Sahil from a distance sees this and understands they had recorded him.

"I'll meet you in Sunshine Hotel, on the terrace." Kavita says and Swara nods, running away.

Kavita then rushes away in a different direction in case they start following them.

Sahil's friend come, "Get that bitch Kavita." He says and his friends nod, running out.

While Kavita was running, she stops an auto Rikshaw and sits in it.

"Take me to police station please." Kavita utters while catching her breath.

The rikshaw man shakes his head and starts driving. Soon he stops, surprising Kavita.

Sahil's  friends had blocked the way and walk forward, Sahil drags Kavita out with full force and then slaps her across the face.

"Leave me!" She scream, the rikshaw man timidly drove away.

"Where is Swara?" Sahil sternly asks.

"I'm not telling you!" She shouts and he throws her on the floor.

"Fine, don't tell me!" He angrily says and then looks at his friends. "She's all yours, you can do anything with her." Sahil says and begins to walk off.

Kavita sees his friends approaching her and gets scared. The men pull her up and she tries to get out of their grip.

"Don't you dare!" Kavita screams and they begin to drag her.

"Do you know what we can do with you, it was better you told him where she was." One of his men says and Kavita disgustedly stares at them.

She then manages to get out of their grip and starts running, they start following her. While running, Kavita's heels break and she takes them off, throwing them on the road.

While running, she stops as Sahil is stood in front of her and behind him was his jeep.

"Don't make that mistake. If you tell me then nothing will happen to you."

"You're a dickhead! I will never tell you where Swara is!" Kavita shouts with an insult.

Sahil's friend catch up and then Sahil signals them and they nods, pushing her to the side and into the woods. Kavita was shocked, they push her on the ground.

"No! Help!" Kavita screams but no one was really there other than cruel Sahil and his friends.

They begin to take off their jackets and Kavita's eyes fill up.

A boy was about to touch her but she screams.

"No!! She's in hotel sunshine on the terrace!" Kavita shouts, now regretting and his friends back off.

Sahil smirks and sits inside the jeep, his friends follow him and Kavita starts crying.

"I'm sorry Swara." Kavita utters and continues crying.

Swara was waiting on the terrace of hotel sunshine, worriedly and hitting the phone on her hand. She then hears the door open.

"Kavita. . ." She stops as she sees Sahil and shockingly looks on.

"Swara. . ." Swara takes her steps back.

"Stay away from me! Do you know how stupid I feel right now, I fell into your fake trap and actually thought you whole heartedly want Kavita's forgiveness but I was wrong! Then you started playing mind games with me." Swara warns as she moves back.

Sahil sighs, "You caught me. Just wanted to toy with your feelings and crush them beneath my foot." Sahil says and Swara looks at him in disgust.

"Hand me the phone." He adds as he sees the phone in her hand. "What made you think I would?" Swara asks.

"Kavita betrayed you, think about it. How did I know you were here and where is Kavita?" Sahil utters, playing with Swara's mind.

"Just shut up! No more lies from you!" Swara says, not allowing him to control her mind.

Sahil understands she wouldn't listen and moves forward. "Hand me the phone!" He sternly says and she shakes her head negatively.

Swara moved away and Sahil walks towards her, he grabs her arm and pulls her towards him. Swara throws the phone and Sahil looks at it falling on the ground, he gets angry and looks at Swara.

"You might as well go down with it!" He says and pushes her off the terrace.

Swara shockingly screams and Kavita reaches that place with blisters on her foot. She jumps in shock as Swara drops in front of her, blood started coming out from her head and Kavita covers her mouth.

"Swara!!" Kavita shouts and bends down near her, tears fall out Kavita's eyes as she blames herself for this condition of Swara's.

The ambulance came and Swara went with Kavita. The doctors treated her and miraculously she had survived that fall. Kavita was more of a glad she did but everyone got the news of her not being able to walk again.

Shekhar and Sharmishta had heard and rushed to the hospital to their daughter. Ragini had even returned to India to see Swara.

As Swara gains conscious, the second day Kavita walks inside with guilt and tells Swara how she gave in to tell Sahil here whereabouts but Swara doesn't blame Kavita.

Sahil thought Swara was dead and he flew out of India the same day that incident occurred.

The flashback ends and Swara comes inside her cabin. Kavita sees her and curves a faint smile.

"So. It seems like he knows you from before?"

Swara sighs and then says "Yeah, I met him today. In fact he was the one who had an accident with my car."

"Ohhh, but I'm glad you're giving him a chance."

"A chance? I didn't mean to shake his hand."

Kavita looks at Swara suspiciously and Swara looks at her with serious stares.

"What?"

"Just give him a chance." Kavita utters with a small teasing smirk.

"He's going to lose it anyways." Swara responds confidently.

"You never know, maybe he'll turn into your good friend but if he replaces me then I will not take that."

Swara shakes her head in disbelief.

"I've booked you a meeting with him in Coffee's corner. . ." Kavita trials off and Swara shockingly stares at her.

"It's business talk, you guys can take your time, I don't mind you two mixing your personal life into. . ." Kavita continues but gets interrupted.

"Why? I'm not going Kavita, you can go."

"Swara, I'm busy. I need to. . . Go check out the designs and submit them for our next fashion show." Kavita makes an excuse with a fake smile.

"Meeting is in an hour, get ready." She adds before walking out.

Leaving a shocked Swara behind. "What's happening, first he gave me a sudden shock and now Kavita." Swara confusedly sighs to herself and shakes her head in disbelief.

Sanskar was waiting at coffee corner and was pretty much excited, his Personal Assistant was sat with him as this meeting is for business talk.

Swara enters the place with her Secretary and glances around, finding Sanskar sat down. She sighs and her Secretary pushes her wheelchair towards him.

They stop in front of the table and Sanskar smiles at Swara.

"Welcome Ms Gadodia." Sanskar professionally says and his PA was a litter surprise, Sanskar never smiled when he had meetings.

"Nice to meet you Mr Maheshwari." Swara responds blankly yet professionally.

Sanskar then instructs his PA to start explaining and his PA begins. Swara also starts to discuss along with her secretary and Sanskar also begins to talk about the topic. Soon it turned to a small disagreement.

"Red fabric won't sell out."

"Neither would the gold, red will have more profit in the market."

"There would be few buys."

"Nowadays red colour brightens up, loads of youngsters would go for red too."

"But Mr Maheshwari, our target audience is everyone, not only youngsters and gold would look stunning on everyone."

His PA and her Secretary looked at the two each time they spoke.

Swara and Sanskar continued to have their views out regarding the matter.

"Okay fine, we will do gold but I want red in it too."

"What?! Red and gold? Mr Maheshwari, are you okay?"

"Why not. Main fabric would be gold and all I asked for was a red, I don't mind if it's a dot."

Swara sighs, not agreeing.

"I know you can do it Ms Gadodia, the deal is yours." He utters, standing up and Swara at last agrees while shaking her head in disbelief. Sanskar then signs some papers and Swara does the same.

"Hope to meet you soon." Sanskar utters and walks out with a small smile.

"He's such an idiot. Red with gold!" Swara mummers under her breath.
