Today was the day, it was in fact Azuri's birthday and the soul reapers, including Kenpachi, helped planned the surprise party while Mashiro and Yachiru kept Azuri busy by talking about things she would like to do.

Aizen was going through the old stuff he and Kushina picked out for when Azuri was going to have her birthday as he found a box with a label:

GIVE THIS TO AZURI ON HER BIRTHDAY

Aizen opened it and found a beautiful light blue with pink Sakura petals and green sash Yukata for Azuri with a green hair ribbon, he could feel the tears forming in his eyes.

(A/N: has anyone seen Aizen cry?)

Aizen wipes the tears away quickly as he wrapped the box with purple cloth and gave it to Jushiro who placed it with the other presents the captains got.

Azuri wasn't like a spoiled child, she was adorable and sweet and kind to them, they couldn't even remember when she would do something awful, they love her with all they have.

~~~Meanwhile~~~

"Yachiru?" Azuri called out to the pink haired girl as she stopped tying up the daisy chain. "What's up Berry-Chan?" Yachiru asked as Azuri had a saddened look.

"Will Ichinose come back?" Yachiru and Mashiro looked at her and remembered the man who was like an older brother to her, taught her every sword practice, the day he left and the times she waited for him to come back.

"I don't really know." Yachiru answered as Azuri smiled but Mashiro and Yachiru knew that she could fake a smile when ever she was really sad.

Like the fact she never met her mother but heard stories of her mother, never saw her mother's face but she could picture what her mother looked like.

A gentle look, crystal blue eyes like hers and long fiery red hair similar to her.

Then Mashiro noticed the time on her soul pager and whispered to Yachiru who smiled before they grabbed Azuri and ran really fast as Azuri screamed in glee.

Then they walked inside the dark where they got the lights on and everyone surprised Azuri who froze up like a goat and fell.

Aizen got her before she hit the floor.

Then they all had fun by playing games and kept the booze away from Rangiku who tried to sneak away but Toshiro stopped her.

Then came the presents, Azuri unwrapped the small one and saw that it was an old music box and smiled at Jushiro who smiled back while thinking in his mind of how much of a good father he is.

Then she opened Aizen's present to see that it was a yukata as Aizen told her that she could wear it as she went to wear it and tied her long red hair into a bun with the green hair ribbon.

Everyone loved the adorable Yukata she wore as they toke out their soul pagers and took pictures while Kaname just sat in the corner and sighed.

(A/N: Does anyone feel bad for him because he can't see?)

Azuri smiled and made poses while taking an ink brush and  writing on Ikakku's sleeping face as they tried to hold back their laughter before Ikakku woke up and saw his face.

"What the-?! Who in the name of all gods would do this?!" He yelled as Azuri tried to hold back her laughter before laughing loudly so much which caused her to hiccup which made them laugh as Azuri fell asleep for the next 10 minutes as they cleaned up while Aizen tucked Azuri into bed before winding her music box and letting it play.

"Happy birthday...my little girl..." he said with a sad smile as he walked out with a sad look.
