five // falling apart
===
Monday 1st August
Jordan Terrell could hear her name being called. She recognised the voice as Dominic Richards's. He had a deep full-toned voice; a trait that rendered Jordan hopeless when it came to boys.
"Jordan I need your help with your sister."
Jordan raised her eyebrows as the mention of her sister before slowly pushing her self up and walking down Aisle 10.
"My sister?" Jordan repeated as she stared into Dominic's ice blue eyes, her head titled up slightly. The boy nodded, his face slightly wrinkled with concern.
"I think she might be a bit... Intoxicated." Dominic revealed, biting his lip nervously. Jordan frowned at his words, her gaze dropping to the floor.
"I can't do anything about that." she admitted quietly.
"She's your sister." Dominic said, shuffling closer to Jordan.
"And I'm hers and look what's happening to me." she whispered. "We're falling apart."
Jordan's quiet words sent a chill down Dominic's spine. He opened his mouth to utter something when he realised that there was nothing else to say.

Tuesday 2nd August
"Why do you always bring your textbooks when you never use them?" Jordan asked as she lingered beside Dominic's table.
"I need to keep up the act up." he answered simply, slipping his phone into his bag.
"What act?" Jordan asked, crossing her ankles and tilting her head quizzically.
"The Studious Dom act." he replied with a smirk before pointing at the chair opposite him. Jordan stared at the seat for a while before sitting down.
"What's wrong with the Just Dom act?" she queried, wrapping her grey, calf-length cardigan tighter around herself.
"Just Dom is the reason that I'm redoing year 13. And Studious Dom is supposed to get me into uni or whatever." he sighed.
"Too bad Studious Dom doesn't exist." Jordan muttered, mustering up a small smile. Dominic gazed at the girl opposite him, in awe of how such a small smile could light up her face to such an extent.
"My uncle doesn't need to know that." he chuckled.
Soon enough, the two were shrouded in silence once again. Jordan looked away from Dominic, her mind drifting back to Eli. She felt guilty for forgetting about him for those few minutes. He deserved all her attention.
Dominic stared at Jordan as she gazed down pensively at her lap. His eyes grazed over very contour of her face, inspected every freckle.
She was beautiful.
But like most beautiful things, Jordan Terrell was best when left alone. Alas Dominic Richards had no intention of doing that.
