Aishwarya's POV

That means the child would make things better.

I thought and she smiled looking at me.

Maybe she was right and usually women get pregnant after the wedding. All my sisters got pregnant after the wedding and they got happy with the babies too.

But, for that, I had to ask him for his seeds. And, I looked at her.

"But, do you think he will be happy to give me his seeds,"

I asked and she furrowed her brows for a moment and then smiled.

"Oh... seeds! Of course, why not, he will be happy. Or maybe you will have the chance soon,"

She said and a slight smile appeared on my face.

"But, what if he will not?"

I asked her and she smiled while pulling my duppatta low from my head.

"Then you should straightforwardly ask him because you are his wife and it's your right,"

She said and I nodded.

"Okay,"

She smiled and I saw her helping me get out of these heavy clothes that were meant was newly wed brides and helped me change into lightweight clothes. A simple, cotton outfit of dark maroon colour.

"Here you go,"

She said after tying my blouse and placing the dupatta on my head.

I felt immediately lighter than before as I walked a little feeling how beautiful it was to wear lightweight clothes, unlike the heavy lehngas.

"Can I take off all these heavy pieces of jewellery too?"

I asked and she smiled.

"Yes, you can, since you do not have to meet anyone now, you can take off the pieces of jewellery,"

She informed and I nodded.

"Okay, I do not want to wear anything in my neck, ear and these heavy armlets, this heavy waist chain. They make too much sound and I feel like I disturb him a lot with all these sounds,"

I said in a slow voice and she smiled.

"Let me help get out of it,"

She said and helped me bare my neck, my waist, my ear and my arms leaving the bangles, toe rings, small headpieces, rings and anklets as they were necessary to wear.

"Feeling good?"

She asked and I nodded.

"Yes, thank you so much, Moni,"

I said and she smiled.

"Now you can rest until your dinner arrives,"

She said and walked out of the dressing chamber.

I inhaled a deep breath and looked myself in the mirror. And, seeing myself I immediately lowered the dupatta to cover my hairline and settled it over my chest and waist to not reveal anything.

After changing into a fresh pair of clothes, I came out of the dressing room and found him still sitting on the couch with the papers and all.

I did not know what to do now.

Should I talk to him?

Or should I just sit silently?

I inhaled a deep breath and walked towards the bed. My anklet bells were echoing in the chamber and I felt him lifting his gaze to look at me and I immediately lowered my gaze.

Focus, Aishwarya, Focus. You will feel normal after the baby. Do not worry.

I continued walking and sat on the bed silently not knowing what to do now.

His gaze was fixed back on the papers and I just saw him working. His hand would dip the feather into the ink pot and then write something and read something from the book and then again dip the feather and read and write. His gaze was focused and fixed on the work and I just could not help but see him like that.

He was beautiful and handsome and muscular. His jaw was fine and his hands had veins.

Slowly, the darkness captured the chamber as the night started to fall with the initiation of the evening.

A few attendees entered the chamber holding the lamps and started their work of lighting the chamber with the lamps and fire torches.

In some time, the whole beautiful chamber had turned yellow in light and warm and calm.

The attendees left after their work and he finally finished I guessed as he started rolling the papers and tied the cap of the inkpot. I looked at his fingers all inked and tied the knot around the rolls to secure them.

I immediately stood up from the bed and my sight turned to the glass and jug. I walked towards him and poured water for him.

Taking the glass to him and I forwarded the water to him and he lifted his gaze to look at me.

"You do not have to do it, Aishwarya,"

He said and I immediately took the glass back not understanding what did I do wrong.

Was he angry with me for taking my hand back when he was touching me with his lips?

"I am sorry,"

I immediately said in a slow voice and he stood up from the couch.

"I mean, I can take the water by myself,"

He said with a slight smile and I just felt awestruck by seeing how finely his lips move when he talk.

He smiled looking at me a little again and just by seeing him smile I again felt hot in my cheeks.

"By the way, If you have filled the glass then I should take it,"

He said and forwarded his hand.

Why was he that beautiful and attractive and good?

"Aishwarya,"

He said in a slow voice and I immediately lowered my gaze to look at his hand. I forwarded the glass of water and he took it. The smile was still there on his face and I saw him drinking water.

His lips glistened with the wetness and my throat ran dry. They were the same beautiful lips that touched my hand.

Oh, My God!

"Shall we start?"

He asked and my brows thinned a little.

"Hn?"

I asked in confusion.

He smiled even more and walked towards me. He held my hand gently and said.

"Come here,"

He said and pulled me closer to the couch. Suddenly, my stomach started feeling butterflies again and he said.

"Sit down,"

I stared blankly at him and lowered myself to sit on the couch.

He sat beside me and my eyes widened seeing him sitting close to me. Just next to me. I could smell him and our arms were just a few inches away.

I blinked nervously and lowered my gaze with timidness.

"Shall we start your lesson one?"

He asked and I gulped looking at the papers and ink and tried to nod.

"Ji,"

I managed to say and he looked at me.

"Do you know how to hold a pen?"

He asked and I just shook my head lightly.

He smiled slightly and said in a slow voice.

"It's okay,"

I blinked nervously and followed his gaze as he moved it from my face to the table. The table had papers, ink pots, feathers and a light lamp to make the surroundings bright.

My gaze followed his hand as he forwarded it to grab two feather pens in his hand.

"Here, take it,"

He said and I nervously took the pen from his hand holding it like a knitting needle.

"Not like this, hold it like this,"

He said and I looked at his hand holding the feather pen the way that his index finger and thumb were close to the pin side, holding it and other fingers were fisted.

I looked at my hand and tried to hold the pin side with my index finger and thumb but strangely it was slipping through my grip and I looked at him with nervousness.

He sucked on his lower lip a little and just by seeing him doing it, I felt warmness in my cheeks again. My brows furrowed slightly and he said.

"Like this,"

I immediately lowered my gaze to see his hand and then looked at mine.

I did not know but the pen was slipping through my grip.

Suddenly, he shifted closer and my heartbeats raced. I sat frozen and felt his hand cupping mine and his fingers touching mine and I felt the firmness in his grip that was making me feel butterflies in my stomach again.

Calm down, Calm down, Calm down.

I reminded myself and tried to concentrate on what he was teaching.

"Just like this,"

He said and he slowly took his hand back and I saw my hand holding the pen for the first time in my life. But, my fingers were shaking. His fingers felt warm and rough.

I blinked nervously and looked at me.

"Now, what?"

I asked in a slow voice and he pulled the table closer to us. My knees touched the edge of the table and he said.

"Now, I will teach you to make basic strokes,"

My eyes were shamelessly watching his lips moving and suddenly a slight smile appeared on his face. His face was looking down at the table and I could see a small mole on his earlobe and his neck. His skin was fair but tanned. His eyebrows were thick and his lashes medium. I did not know but his eyes were like making me feel dizzy.

Suddenly he lifted his face from the table and looked into my eyes.

"I promise if you will be able to learn how to make these strokes, I will let you see me until you desire to,"

He said and I immediately lowered my gaze. My heartbeats raced insanely wild and my cheeks blushed with the redness.

"No, no... I mean, yes... basic strokes?"

I asked in a slow voice trying to pretend that I was paying attention and not looking at him. But, inside my heartbeats were racing insanely and suddenly I felt him muttering in a slow voice.

"It is okay to feel it,"

I lifted my gaze and looked at his face. He also looked at me and asked in a slow and convincing voice.

"Shall we start? Aishwarya,"

I lowered my gaze and looked at the page he just slide in my direction and pushed the inkpot into my side and I nodded.

"Ji,"

"Good,"

He muttered and I gulped to calm down my racing heartbeats as he leaned forward onto the table and said while drawing a straight line on the paper.

"You should learn how to make a straight line first,"

He said in a slow voice and I nodded.

I inhaled a deep breath and looked down at the paper and the ink pot.

"Dip the pen in the ink first,"

He said looking into my eyes and then at the inkpot. I blinked nervously and dipped the pen in the pot carefully. But, accidentally my fingers got inked and I blinked nervously as I could not even ink the pen. That was so embarrassing.

"Its alright,"

He muttered in a slow voice and I saw him taking a cloth with which he was wiping off the ink from his fingers. He held my hand lightly, just the mere touch with the firmness and I saw him wiping the ink from my fingers.

I felt a strong shiver running down my spine the moment he lifted his eyes from the fingers to my eyes. They were close. I gulped and blinked nervously.

"Jese aapka genha ye laj hai, hamara ye syahi hai, parantu lagta hai ki hum dono bina kisi prayas ke ek doosre ke rang rahe hai,"

"Like the way you wear timidness as your jewel, I wear this ink as mine and it seems like we are painting each other quite effortlessly,"

He said in a slow voice and my brows thinned in a line not understanding a single word he uttered.

"Hn?"

A slight voice escaped my lips and I think, that I did not even try to comprehend what he just said.

I blinked nervously and anyone could tell that my lips were slightly parted and my cheeks were flushed like never before. I saw his gaze lowering to my lips and he suddenly said in a slow voice.

"Your lips...,"

My finger immediately touched my lips and I muttered in my breath.

"My lips?"

He smirked a little and looked into my eyes with a sharp and intense gaze.

"...Got my ink,"

I panicked a little and blinked nervously.

I carelessly touched my lips with the same finger that got ruined in the ink and I lowered my gaze with timidness.

I was feeling embarrassed and did not know why it was happening when I was around him.

He moved his gaze back to the table and said in a slow voice.

"Some marks are permanent, Aishwarya,"
