I am walking beneath St Elmo's fire
The sun is still up, refusing to wave goodbye
If you ask me, it is never going to go down
The sky is too beautiful for a farewell tonight.

Look outside your apartment window:
The aircrafts are dressing up as fireflies
Run over to the dock for that's where they are planning to land
I'll join you when I am done painting the harbour black and white.

Cheers to the cloud collage the sky spent all morning making,
I heard you lost your journal; maybe it's hidden somewhere there
Part the clouds gently if you're planning to make sure
Hold on tight while I place a trampoline beneath in case any of you fell.
