Lightship- Clandestine Coves
Lightship- Clandestine Coves
They are at the dock waiting for the ship to arrive,
I am looking out from the captain's porthole;
We will get to them soon, tracing the pacific coast,
They want us to hurry up for we've kept them waiting since six past five.
She is being steered safely through the rocks,
The waves greeting her now and then,
Looking down on the starfishes she smiles as she steers by,
Crawling through the saltwater ledge.
We don't know where to anchor her at the dock;
Her sisters have huddled in long ago.
Would the passengers mind swimming over here?
Dear seagulls, tell them about this cove.
