Life Wonders- The Wish That Grew Wings

Day by day passes by

thinking of someone who

Can make the dark sky blue,

And bring melted chocolate after breaking a cashew.

Sometimes I wish who can

Make a really good plan

For saving me from tripping over the saucepan.

'Tis my dream to know someone who could stop the hullabaloo

And show me the glorious ocean view.

Wishes come up everyday,

Do they not, you say?

These wishes often stay a mystery and unnoticed like a raindew

But you never know when these wishes are answered,

And the person is standing right in front of you.

I wrote this poem for my older brother for his birthday a few years back. He's one of my most favorite people in the world. We both like cats and he was kind enough not to give me Harry Potter spoilers when I was reading the books. Thank you for that, silly person.
