Life Wonders-Fall Hopes

The Fuzzy Wuzzy brown leaves fall beside your feet,

Brushing against the Raw Umber tree trunks,

You look up at the clouds that cover the sky with a marshmallow sheet,

You imagine yourself jumping on them; a thought so wondrous.

You lie tucked under the covers, dreaming about Pink Sherbet skies;

The Cumberland River ripple in your thoughts with superlicious toads croaking beside it,

The bedside glow worms light up your dreamy eyes

With the winds outside singing so sweet.

The moon in the distance glow a colour of Timberwolf

With the silly me talking away folderol

and your eyes shimmer a shade of green hue

I call Him to assure you that there's Hope all around.

This poem is dedicated to my teacher who's also a dear friend to me. I can't thank Him enough for leading her to the road of recovery.
