I Fell For The Night Sky- Dark Hour Secrets

The charred white house stood by the riverside,

With the gigantic palm trees peeping in through their windows.

The smoky grey clouds high up above,

And the realms of Tartarus far down below.

The Hawkweeds and the Hellebores answered to the winds,

While the Lilacs and the Water Lilies shared secrets with the fishes.

The Eridanus and Zeus glowed with mighty pride;

As the Ara in the south started to say goodbye.

I sat on the porch steps with my history textbook,

And a notebook and a pen hidden away with care.

I jotted this poem down before my mother could see me-

Hang on... I think I see Perseus up there.
