I Fell For The Night Sky- Chasing The Stars

The lights hanging on my bedroom curtains flickered on and off,

As the starlight from the nightsky shone in through my window,

I stared up at the misty clouds that had gathered up there;

Drenching the earth in a cold atmosphere from far, far away.

The moon was shining down on every passerby,

I gazed up at the starry blanket that had hidden the sky,

I watched as the Hunters formed the Big Bear,

And many other constellations that were worth to stare.

The cold North Wind tingled on my skin

As I pulled the blanket up to me, staring at the scene:

The Northern Lights had swept through the sky with brushes of green,

It reminded me of my old home at Jersey City.

My heavy eyelids got back at me,

As I lay down peacefully under the starry dream.
