I Fell For The Night Sky- Brusque Blasts

The winds were howling with rage,

The windows slammed shut,

The debris from the sidewalks stung my eyes;

The winds were driving me nuts.

The warm sea breeze floated past me,

I caught the scent of the Pineapple Broom,

I tried to follow the shoreline which leads to the bay,

But the winds were driving me away.

The winds got stronger as I took cover,

Beneath the redwood trees,

The winds got rougher and at last they could

Bring me down to my knees.
