12 o' Clock Clouds and on the Street- Midnight Rocket

A midnight rocket flew above the frozen satellites,

Through my bedroom window I saw it soar into a frosty sky;

Starry mountain peaks it crossed to go back where it came from,

But left behind among the snow white clouds a crazy dreamer's song.

A paradise of blue and grey waited still upon the rocket,

As it glided over Greenwich and paid a visit to it's North Pole friends;

Winding through frozen skylines traced with strawberry stars,

The midnight rocket made way for the secret paradise afar.

Icebound daydreams hovered above a blackcurrant sky,

As the midnight rocket dove in through a rainbow sky pie;

Coated with a thousand shades it raced along a sea of moonbeams,

Drifting back into the face of earth and into my midnight dreams.
