Chapter Four
Arcee stared at the ground, memories of Elita-1, Tailgate, And Cliffjumper running through her helm. All the times she spent with them, up until the moment she lost them. She hadn't wanted to believe that Elita-1 was dead, but everyone said she was. Even cons who had seen her in Shockwave's laboratory. She officially had no one... Arcee's processor went to Jack, and she mentally slapped herself.
'No. I may have lost my past partners, but I still have Jack.'
Her mind decided to remind her that Airachnid most likely had Jack by now, and she had lost another being she cared about. Squeezing her optics shut, she whispered to no one, hoping that her words would reach Jack.
"Jack, I'm sorry... I never should have looked back. I should've... kept driving." A plan in mind, Arcee started pushing against the cliff until she could transform. Once she managed that, she kept pushing forward, using all the power her vehicle form could offer. She managed to break free of her restrictions, and sped forward into the forest.

Airachnid growled as she followed Jack, who ran several feet ahead of her. She was toying with him, letting him grow weak from the chase. It was always fun to do that. But she was slowly growing bored and knew it was time to end it soon.
She easily jumped over a canyon that Jack had just barely managed to get through, and continued to follow him through the dark forest. The sun had fallen, and now it was dark.
After catching up to him after he had paused for a moment, Airachnid decided to pause and talk to him, allowing him to run away some more.
"You're making this too easy, Jack", she called out. "And I do not enjoy being bored."
Airachnid paused in surprise, amusement filling her systems as she saw Jack running towards her crashed ship. She hissed and walked toward the entrance before deciding to play with Jack a little longer.
"Now... where did you scamper off too?" she asked aloud, before moving off toward the back of the ship. She climbed up to the top of the ship, and hurried to the front. She jumped down and transformed mid-air, landing on two pedes instead of six. There was no sign of Jack, so Airachnid assumed he went inside.
"If you wanted a tour, Jack, all you had to do was ask", Airachnid smirked, and walked inside. "Did you spot the empty space? I hope you like it. It's where you'll soon hang your head."
She searched every dark nook and cranny, but saw no sign of Jack. As she searched, she heard the sound of metal scraping metal echo. She perked up.
"Jack?" she asked, looking around. The scraping sound continued. She ran outside, and leapt on top of the ship, running to the back of it, where she saw Jack running away. She looked around, and saw a flame sitting on top of an energon puddle. Airachnid's optics widened, and she yelled out in worry for Jack, which surprised her.
Before she could dwell much on it, her ship exploded and she was thrown off into the trees. She groaned, but got up, and climbed on top of the trees, where she saw Jack picking himself up off the ground. The explosion had knocked him off his feet too. She ignored the flames burning around her because of her heated metal and let him run a few feet before shooting web at him, and trapping his foot against the ground. He looked up at her, with wide fearful eyes.
She shot another web and and trapped him against a tree. Approaching him, she glared angrily at him. She was stuck on Earth because of him. She didn't want to stay here. Not with Arcee and not with the Decepticons.
She growled, and ran her sharp digits along his neck. She was tired of this game now, and just wanted to leave. An engine revving distracted her, and she saw a familiar motorcycle coming towards her. Arcee transformed, kicking the femme away from Jack. Airachnid grunted as she hit the ground. She got up, but was barely given time to recover before she was kicked again. She stumbled back and glared at Arcee, who was already in front of her and attacking. Airachnid attempted to block the punches, and succeeded but left her chassis unprotected. Arcee used that to her advantage and kicked Airachnid as hard as she could, sending her crashing through multiple trees.
Airachnid groaned as she slammed against the ground. She paused for a moment, allowing her senses to come back to her before sitting up. She transformed into her drill form, and dug into the ground. It got dirt everywhere on her joints, but it was better than the metal shrapnel she would get from doing it on Cybertron. She didn't get very down before she heard Arcee scream out her name.
"AIRACHNID!"
