There's much more beyond the scope
Of who we are and what we know
Yet we judge as if we see
All aspects of humanity

Deep set behind wandering eyes
Let us stare up at ancient skies
and find our center and our meek
before we act or even speak

Somewhere on a mountain high
looking down with patient eyes
as we wallow in this muck
Life waits to get us unstuck

Yet holding fire to our neighbor's feet
seems greater than just being free
This is the only way we know to live
Better  to die right than forgive
