I'm the opposite of what you know

If I speak my mind; my heart will show

The world revolves and yet I stop

I sell my life while others shop

My sleeve is red; my eyes are green

I believe in worlds unseen

And though I'm different through and through

I believe in what I see in you

My darkness is a light that shines

My light is a darkness that blinds

And if you had any doubt

I wear my love inside out

Still I exist in places beyond me

I walk in paths outside any poetry

And when I decide to look around

I find myself upside down

Then I face you eye to eye

These opposite worlds stop for a moment

And all at once our stars align

As if this was where they were meant to be

Something clicks and I hear a voice

I see a glimpse of someone who was hidden to me

In this frozen second; you become so much more

And I try to find the way to hold on to this Kairos junction.
