Later on that night...

It was dark out. Levy was sat by her window, reading with the three-quarter moon being used as her light. She heard something hit her window, something like a small rock. She turned her attention to see the boy's dorm building. She then noticed Gajeel at his window with a large note. He was grinning.

'You really are a nerd!' 

Levy had a vein pop out of her head. She then picked up a large pad that was laying beside the wall and wrote on it. She then showed the pad to Gajeel.

'Shut up! At least I'm smart unlike you iron brain!'

Gajeel had a vein pop out as Levy stuck her tongue out at him. She then huffed as she got up form her sitting area and shut her curtains.

"Are you messing with Levy again?" Panther-Lily, Gajeel's little exceed, asked.

"Gihehehehe. Maybe." Gajeel responded with a laugh.

"Why don't you just confess already?" Lily asked with a stretch and a yawn.

"What are you on about?" Gajeel asked.

"You clearly like her more than a friend" Lily said as he laid down on a little bed.

"What!? What are you on cat!?" Gajeel exclaimed with a blush covering his face.

"Night." Lily said as he turned off a small lamp and closed his eyes as he pulled some covers over him.

"Oi! Lily! I'm talking to you! What do you mean I like the shrimp?!" Gajeel exclaimed. His door then opened and Natsu walked in while yawning. He also had a pillow in one hand and a blanket in another.

"Stop shouting man. I'm trying to sleep." He said as he walked back out and shut the door. Gajeel just huffed as he turned off his light and laid on his bed. He looked at the ceiling while thinking.

"Just what did Lily mean by me liking her more than a friend? Why would I like her like that? We're just classmates." Gajeel thought. He then sighed and went to sleep.

The Next day...

"Hey, have you guys seen Ai-Ai?" Lucy asked the boys as she, Yukino and Wendy approached them.

"The president? No. Why?" Gray asked.

"We didn't see her this morning. She wasn't on the train." Yukino explained.

"Same with Erza. She wasn't there either. When we stopped by their rooms, they were gone." Wendy explained.

"Um... Found them." Natsu said, pointing behind the girls. The girls turned around and saw Erza, Jellal and Aine sticking up a poster. Once Aine finished sticking up the poster, she sighed.

"How many more of these do we have?" She asked.

"About 20." Erza said. Aine sighed again.

"Tell me again how Master Bob convinced me?" Aine asked.

"He said he would stop buying you dresses to try and dress you in." Jellal said.

"Right..." Aine said with another sigh.

"Hi!" The girls shouted. All three jumped, causing the rolled up papers to fall on the floor.

"Oops, sorry." Lucy said as they all began to pick up the rolled up papers. "What's this?" Lucy questioned, examining one of the papers that was rolled up.

"Remember the contest I mentioned on the first day of school?" Erza asked.

"Aha." Lucy said.

"Aine agreed to it and we're putting up the posters with the sign up sheets." Jellal explained.

"Wendy." Aine said.

"What is it?" Wendy asked.

"There's also going to be a contest for exceeds on the same day." Aine explained.

"Really?" Wendy gasped. Aine nodded. "I'll tell Carla when school finishes!" Wendy smiled.

"Let's go, we still have 20 more posters." Erza said. Jellal and Aine nodded and then the three walked down the hall. The girls then looked at the Poster.

Miss Mage.

All girls are allowed to sign up with any type of talents.
Every year, every guild.

To sign up, put your name on the  paper, which will be collected by the end of the week. The auditions will be held on the 11th of September at Lunch Time. Those who wish to participate must not be late. Once you pass the auditions, you will go to the semi-finals and then the finals.

In the Semi-Finals and Finals, those who wish to watch may. The finals will be held after school a few days after the semi-finals. You must by a ticket if you wish to watch the finals.

Judges: Makarov Dreyar, Bob, Aine Chinami, Mirajane Strauss and Jellal Fernandes. 

Tickets - 100 Jewels Per Ticket.

Couples Ticket - 150 Jewels.

Groups of 4-6 - 350 Jewels.

The top three mages get a prize!

Number one - 100,000 jewels

Number two - 50,000 jewels

Number three - 25,000 jewels

"Holy cow, what's with the prize money?!" Lucy gasped. She then looked back at the judges. "I wonder why Erza isn't a judge." She said.

"Look at the sign up sheet." Levy giggled. The girls looked and sweat dropped.

"Of cause." They all said.

"Where's the exceed sheet?" Wendy asked.

"Right there, next to the Miss Mage Poster." Yukino said.

Exceed Got's Talent!

Dragon Slayers, get your exceeds ready to start fighting for the number one spot as the most talented exceed in the school! Any kind of talent is allowed.

"I wonder why Ai-Ai isn't a judge." Lucy said.

"She and Dust will probably enter." Levy said.

"Well you and Carla will have some competition Wendy. Are you up for the challenge?" Lucy asked.

"I'll try my best." Wendy said. She got a pen out of her pocket and signed up on the Exceed sign up  sheet. "I wonder if I should sign up for the Miss Mage contest." Wendy said.

"You should. It'll be fun." Yukino smiled. Wendy nodded and then she wrote her name on the contest sheet.

"Can I burrow your pen Wendy?" Lucy asked.

"Sure." Wendy smiled as she passed Lucy her pen. Lucy wrote her name on the Mage contest. Levy and Yukino then did the same. They then all smiled at each other.

"This should be fun." Levy said.

"Yeah. I don't think any of us entered last year." Lucy said.

"And Ai is judging. I wonder if she'll think we're any good considering her talents." Levy said.

"What talents?" Yukino asked.

"She's an amazing singer!" Lucy said.

"Hai. Her voice is really nice." Wendy smiled.

"Sweet!" Someone shouted. The girls jumped back as they saw Natsu and the boys standing there.

"W-w-when did you get there?!" Lucy exclaimed.

"Just a minute ago." Gray said.

"I'm defiantly signing Happy up!" Natsu said as he got a pen and put his name on the exceed sheet.

"Sounds cool dude, too bad Lector's gonna win." Sting smirked as he put his name up on the sign up sheet.

"Please, Lily can put all your pests to shame." Gajeel smirked as he signed up. Rogue then signed up.

"Well everyone finds Lector cute." He smirked.

"You guys haven't read who sign up first, have you?" Levy asked.

"What do you mean?" Gray asked. The guys looked. Natsu and Gajeel sat by a locker with a gloomy aura.

"What's wrong?" Sting asked.

"We'll never win." Natsu said.

"Yeah."

"The president's exceed puts everyone to shame..." Gajeel said.

"It'll be fun though! Winning is not the important part. It's participating and having fun." Wendy smiled.

"Wendy's right." Lucy said.

"But winning is also nice..." Natsu said.

"Yeah..." Gajeel said. Suddenly, everyone began to float in the air.

"What's going on!?" Levy exclaimed as she and the girls held their skirts down.

"Who made Ai mad?" Yukino asked. Aine ran through the halls with Bob floating after her.

"Ainey~!" He said.

"Master Bob! You promised!" Erza shouted as she and Jellal air swam.

"I had my fingers crossed." They heard Bob say.

"Erza, what's going on?" Lucy asked.

"It's Master Bob again." Erza said. Everyone sighed and then they all fell to the ground.

"Ow..." They all groaned.

"We really need to talk to Ai-Ai about that..." Lucy groaned.

"Yeah..." The others said.
