It was unlike anything I had seen before. 

This thing glowed in all colours of the rainbow. 

I was unsure how to call it. Was it a stone because it looked like one? Was it a fruit because it lay on top of a flower?

I didn't know what it was. I had never heard of anyone who had made a similar experience with a sunflower. Nothing like this had been mentioned in any book I had come across. 

But if it was what it was, if it was special, this thing might be a way of saving the world.
