The Clown Who Ate French Fries

"Look, I know you're a super serious secret agent or whatever, but I can't take you seriously in that clown makeup, Dad!" his thirteen-year-old daughter Josie said to him.

She was sitting at the local fast food restaurant with her father and younger sister while they were waiting for his job interview. Actually, her father, Hammer McNeill, wasn't seriously considering to become the restaurant's resident clown on a permanent, indefinite basis. He was a private detective who had been hired by the manager's wife to observe her husband because she thought her husband was cheating on her with one of his employees. As of right now, Hammer had neither spotted the lady in question nor the manager.

The only thing that had happened so far was that he had been asked to write a ton of autographs because many kids had already taken him for the resident clown. That was why he had gotten nervous and begun to consume a ton of French fries. Whenever a little kid had walked over to him, he had scolded him or her that he was "eating and that they had no manners at all." One kid had called him "a mean clown," and if his own kids hadn't been present, he would have told that little boy to "eff off." Josie had actually told him off at that point because the entire mission was in danger.

"Who is the employee we are looking for again?" Josie asked her father now because she couldn't really be seen by her classmates in this unhealthy eating establishment.

"Her name is Oksana, and her rival described her as the one with the big "everything" - and she was especially referring to her long hair, of course," Hammer replied, correcting himself because of his younger daughter's presence.

"She must have been referring to the lady over there, I think," Josie suggested and pointed to a couple that was making out outside the restaurant and did not seem to care who was watching them through the glass windows.

"You're a genius!" Hammer said to Josie.

"I know."

"But how do we document this? I cannot really take pictures of them in the middle of a restaurant."

"Have you ever heard of a livestream? I'll get more pocket money for this." Josie said with some exasperation, took out her phone, opened a certain app and began to film herself, talking into her phone's camera. "So all right, guys, I know you'll all be surprised to see me here. But I had this unique opportunity to review this restaurant, and I think it will look really great on my college applications if I bust this place now, which is what I'm going to do because this is not a healthy working environment. We'll interview the resident clown later, who is already sitting with me... In case you're wondering, the guy in the background is the manager, and he is cheating on his wife."
