'You're what?' I glanced down at the map on my phone, then spared a second glance at the photo in messenger. I analysed the Chinese restaurant with its paper red dragons with golden snouts hanging from the ceiling and paintings of flying maidens and beautiful landscapes all along the walls.

Then there he was at a table for two and I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I am here to catch a dragon and here he is, the great almighty dragon of legend, eating egg noodles?

'This can't be right.' I flicked through my phone once more waiting for a message back from my boss. The dragon kept eating but seemed to be patiently waiting for me, ignoring the sword in my hand. 'You look nothing like your picture.'

The blue scaled dragon had a humanoid body covered in a black suit. His shining sapphire talons were about the size of my head so I am not entirely sure how this big beast is using those chopsticks. The scales were amazing though, they had a holographic shine to them when he moved ever so slightly.

The great dragon of legend loosened his tie and offered his hand. 'Here, let me look.'

I don't why I'm doing this... but I handed him the phone, one scaly hand grabbing it with the other wiping the corners of his mouth.

'Hm.' He nodded and handed me back my phone. He didn't bother making eye contact as he was too enthralled by his veggie noodle dish. 'That's me.'

I gave him another once over. 'But you're soo-,'

'So what?' He said flaring his nostrils.

I smirked. 'Unimpressive.'

'Sit down kid, and put that thing away, that sword looks too big for your monkey hands.'

'You do realise what I'm here for right?'

'I know, now sit down so we can talk this through.'

I don't why, but I decided to sit across from the "great beast of legend" but I kept my sword out on my lap. At the ready, for when he dares to make a move.

'I'm going to explain why you'd be a complete idiot to attempt to carry through with your task.'

'Oh really?' I leaned back against the chair and crossed my arms over chest.

'Really, many others have come before you, I have sat with most of them to give them a chance to reconsider their positions. Many decided to move on and leave me be. We've even become Facebook friends.' he leaned forward, pressing his large swollen chest against the table. The fire was in his ebony eyes and smoke swirled out from his nose and mouth. 'Few who did not abide by my warning have not lived to tell the tale of my wrath. I don't like to be interrupted at mealtimes. You, mortals, are lucky I normally a very patient being.'

I threw my head back laughing. 'You can't be serious. Look at you, you're tiny.'

'Oh.' He said, his mouth stretching back to a raw awful grin that made me squirm. 'You want to see big huh?'
