Emi

"Epiphany's live was amazing!" I exclaimed, flopping onto my bed. Epiphany had decided that the next place that they wanted to perform at was Aikatsu Island. Headmistress Seiko agreed, and sent Kazuna, Hanaka, Miru and I to join and help them with their activities. It was so cool to see Epiphany behind the scenes! Headmaster Seiko sent Ryuu, Kaito, Yuto and Takeo along with us. Just Soar was currently on tour, otherwise the headmaster would've sent them to Aikatsu Island too. Unfortunately, the trip only lasted three days. Yesterday, Epiphany had set up for their live and were exploring the island, while we all stayed in the hotel. Just a few hours ago, Epiphany had performed. Tomorrow would be where this short trip to Aikatsu Island would end.

"They were truly wonderful!" Kazuna said, sighing happily as she lay down on the bed next to mine.

Hanaka and Miru agreed with us wholeheartedly.

Hanaka took out her Aikatsu mobile and we watched their performance over and over again, mesmerised by Epiphany every time.

"I can't believe that we have to go back to Stardust already! This stegosaurus wanted to stay here even longer!" Miru remarked.

"But when we we back, we'll get to see Emi's solo performance!" Kazuna exclaimed excitedly.

I almost forgot that I had my solo when I got back to Stardust. I was beginning to feel nervous as we all drifted off to sleep.

"Aikatsu! Aikatsu! Aikatsu!" I chanted as I ran. Everyone had finished packing, and now my friends were having fun at the hotel. I needed to make sure that my performance was not going to disappoint, so I told everyone that I was going to go running. I'm going to give it my all at my performance, and make everyone proud! I know I can do it!

I'm going to fly to my dreams!

The trees were beginning to all look the same. I was distracted by my solo performance and now I had gotten myself lost. Finally, I reached an area crowded with people. I'll just call Kazuna and check the map for Aikatsu Island!" I said out loud. I searched my pocket but realised that I had left it at the hotel. I stood there trying to remain calm, but in the end I began flailing my arms around in the process and running in circles. I finally stopped and began walking aimlessly. That's when I noticed a girl approach me.

"Could you guys please stop sulking in the corner and help us find Emi?!" Hanaka yelled at Kazuna and Ryuu.

"Why are you sulking Ryuu? I thought you despised Emi" Takeo said, smirking.

"This is no time to be smirking!" Miru said in annoyance as she started to flail her arms around, hitting Takeo at the same time.

"Let's all just calm down now. Perhaps Emi is somewhere in the hotel" Kaito told the group.

"But Hanaka and the others said that no one's seen her since this morning" Yuto said quietly.

"Have you found her?" Akane said, coming over. Everyone shook their heads.

"This is awful!" Megumi cried.

"You don't think she...went into the water and got eaten by sharks?!" Kaguya stated, terrified. Kazuna, who was starting to get up from her seating position choked, and fell flat on her face. It looked like the colour from Ryuu's face had drained away.

"Do something about your runaway imagination!" Akane scolded.

"We have to search for her. Epiphany will stay here in case she comes back. Have you all got your Aikatsu mobiles with you?" Asami questioned. Everyone nodded.

"We'll call you if she comes back" Akane told us.

"Be careful!" Epiphany said in unison as my friends all left the hotel grounds and started their search.

Luka

Midst the search for missing Emi I decided to stop by the beach side for two reasons. First, I can bet that the three other idiots will never search here and second, I want to take some selfies here. Holding my camera out and smiling during each shot, I easily forgot about the search for Emi. After I finished my little self photo shoot, I scrolled through my photos. In the corner of my eyes I spotted a pale blonde haired girl. Her wavy hair blew along with the rhythm of the wind, but something else had caught my eye, her eyes. Her radiant rose-gold eyes made me spit in envy. Aren't I the most beautiful sexy idol around here? I huffed. Due to the wind my magenta pink hair was all over the place, and I brushed it behind my ears. Maybe she has seen Emi around?

"Excuse me!"

Hanaka

I spun around to see a girl with long and curly magenta hair, and beautiful sky blues eyes come running up to me. The vibes she gave me made me feel like she was an idol. A sexy idol no doubt, if she was one. Her fashion sense wasn't that bad, it was better than Miru's at least, but still. There was no way that she was more stunning than me though. After all, I'm the best sexy idol in the world! I'm the amazing Hanaka! But this was no time to be complimenting my amazing self. I need to ask this girl if she's seen Emi around.

"Excuse me, but have you seen my friend? She has shoulder-length golden blonde hair and pink eyes" the girl told me.

"Sorry, but I haven't seen anyone who matches that description. One of my friends has gone missing though. She has brown hair with a lilac ombre at the ends, and purple eyes. Have you seen her?"

The girl shook her head. I sighed.

"Why did you have to go missing today Emi?!" I shouted to the sun.

"Emi?...EMI?! Excuse me, but I thought you said that you hadn't seen my friend!" the girl said, hissing. "Where is she?"

"What are you talking about? What's your name?" I asked, eyeing her suspiciously.

"Luka Maximillian, the prettiest sexy idol here!" Luka proclaimed. I laughed at her.

"Pfft! I'M the prettiest sexy idol in the world! Hanaka Jukashi will always be the most amazing and best sexy idol in the whole world!" I declared. "And anyways, Emi's never mentioned you before!"

"Emi's never mentioned you before! I've never heard of you in my life!" Luka spat.

"Neither have I!"

We spent a few moments glaring at one another, until I muttered something under my breath.

"I don't have time for this. If I don't find Emi, then on the way back home we'll be short one Emi Miharu" I mumbled, spinning around, my hair almost whacking that Luka girl in the face as it swayed in the wind.

"Who's Emi Miharu? I'm looking for Emi Hoshino" Luka said, raising an eyebrow.

"Emi Hoshino? Never heard of her, or you for that matter" I said, turning around.

"Well, I've never heard of Emi Miharu before. Or you."

"That's just sad. Who hasn't heard of the great Hanaka?" I said, grinning.

"No one I know" Luka said, smirking. I glared at her.

"Anyways, since I'm better than you, I'll find my Emi before you!" Luka declared.

"No way! I'll find my Emi before you!" I retorted.

"Fine then. Let's make this a contest. Whoever finds their Emi first wins, and the other has to admit that the winner is the most beautiful sexy idol in the world" Luka told me.

"Alright. Be prepared to lose! Because my radiance is overflowing, and my skills are beyond yours! I'll find Emi before you!" I said determinedly.

"I won't lose to the likes of you, Hanaka Jukashi. I'll win, just you watch! Then you'll be bowing at my feet!" Luka hissed.

I started to walk in the opposite direction from where I came from. Luka ran after me, and we stuck together, keeping our eyes out for our respective Emi.

Asahi

I quickly made my way near the hotel. Maybe my sweet Emi-chan was waiting for me, her prince, to arrive outside the hotel. I stepped in front of the glass doors which slide open upon my presence. I quickly glanced around and no, she wasn't there. I swiped out my phone and dialed her number.

"The receiver is currently unavailable. Please call again another time."

"Damn it! What should I do?"I needed a solution asap! Emi-chan could be in danger! I, as her boyfriend need to search for her right away! Sitting down on a bench near the trees was a boy with chestnut brown hair and lime eyes.

Should I ask him if he has seen Emi-chan? Heck no, he looks just as confused as me. But he might know! Arrhg! Anything for Emi-chan!

"Excuse me, have you seen a cute girl named Emi?" I asked.

"Cute girl? Excuse me, but do I know you?"

"Ah excuse my rudeness. I am Asahi Kasumi from M4. I am looking for Emi-chan."

"I'm Ryuu Tanaka and I'm also looking for Emi."

"You know Emi-chan? She has never mentioned you before" I replied, shocked. "Has she mentioned me to you? Surely she has! I'm her boyfriend!"

Ryuu

Boyfriend. Boyfriend...BOYFRIEND?!

It took me a second to process what he had just said.

"You're kidding me!" I shouted.

"What do you mean?" the pipsqueak responded.

"Listen here shorty! I don't know what you're playing at, but can you be serious for a few minutes?" I hissed.

"Shorty?! Who are you calling short! And what on Earth are you talking about? Emi is very dear to me. She's my girlfriend, and she could be in danger! So please, if you've seen her, tell me!" Asahee said.

"I have no idea about what you're saying Asahee-"

'It's Asahi!" Asahi corrected, annoyed.

"Whatever. Anyways, Asahi, listen to me very carefully. Emi has never mentioned you, and she certainly wouldn't want to be your boyfriend!" I stated.

"That's not true! I love her, and we both care about each other! And who would you suggest would be a better match for her?"

"Obviously me...not that I would get with that annoying girl" I muttered.

"...There has to be a mistake. What's her name? The girl you're looking for?" Asahi said. It looked like his emotions were a mix of anger, frustration, confusion and sadness.

"Emi Miharu" I replied, crossing my arms. Asahi's face slowly lit up, and he started jumping for joy, then...he hugged me.

"Get off!" I shoved Asahi away. He still looked delighted.

"Uhh...what's the name of the girl you're looking for?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Emi Hoshino" the smiling Asahi replied. "She's the most amazing Emi in the whole wide world!"

"Are you sure? The Emi I know is better than yours!" I blurted out.

"I haven't even heard of her! Surely, you've heard of Emi Hoshino? My Emi, I might add" Asahi said.

"Not once in my life! That's because my Emi is better, as I said! She may be a doofus, and she's pretty annoying, but she's special and unique in her own, quirky way. She's gentle, sweet and kind, and listens and helps others to the best of her ability while keeping her own problems to herself, even when they're affecting her greatly. Emi might not see it yet, but I'm sure that when Emi has her solo performance, others and herself will see the blinding spark she has, and she'll be one step closer to her dreams!" I said, my eyes sparkling. Then it dawned on me what I said.

It didn't make sense. I don't like Emi. She just annoys me, so why can't I get her out of my head now? But then again, her personality, and her smile...

"I-I...uh...forget I said anything!" I stammered unhappily.

"It doesn't matter what you've just said, became my Emi is better! Like your Emi, she's kindhearted and determined to make her dreams come true! When she aims for something, she aims high! Emi may be a little stubborn, but she's charming, and delightful to be around-"

"Well, so is my Emi! I love being around her!-...I mean..."

"Stop interrupting! As I was saying, my Emi is imaginative and is always there to lend a helping hand! Emi is just so..amazing! That personality of hers was what made me fall in love with her!" Asahi told me.

"I don't care. My Emi is better." I said to him. Wait...I have to stop saying my Emi...

Before Asahi had a chance to retort, I realised that time was ticking away.

"Asahi whatever-your-last-name-is! I don't have time to just stand here arguing. I need to find Emi!" I muttered as my feet began moving once more.

"Hey! Wait up! This war between which Emi is the best is far from over!" Asahi said, standing next to me. We both began searching for the missing Emis, arguing along the way about who was better.

Miru

"Hey, you okay Kazuna?" I asked the anxious Kazuna.

"I'm fine" Kazuna replied solemnly.

"If you keep on being miserable, I will triangle you" I told her in a serious tone.

"What does that even mean?" Kazuna asked, blinking.

"I have no idea!" I said happily.

Kazuna sighed, but finally, and I mean finally, gave me a smile.

"That's more like it!" I said, grinning.

"Thanks Miru" Kazuna said, smiling at me.

"What are friends for! And don't worry! We'll find Emi for sure!" I said, patting Kazuna's shoulder.

"Yeah!"

I grinned my stegosaurus grin once more, but as we walked on, I started to become tired. The trees looked the same to me.

"Come on Miru! We have to keep going!" Kazuna told me as I began to slow down.

"I'm coming!"

After a while, Kazuna and I heard footsteps.

"That might be Emi!" Kazuna remarked as she ran off.

"Hey wait for meeeeeee!" I stated as I ran after her. The ground was pretty rough, and there were so many tree roots that I almost tripped. I didn't trip, but unfortunately Kazuna did.

"Kazuna! Are you okay?!" I bent down in a hurry. I was glad that before we left the hotel, Epiphany had rushed over to us and handed a backpack to each person. Inside were things like water, food, and a first aid-kit. I made Kazuna sit on a log as I took the first-aid kit out of my bag. Kazuna may or may not have hurt her ankle.

Luckily, it didn't look serious. I examined it carefully and it didn't look deformed or dislocated at all. I couldn't see any swelling or bruises either.

"You sure do know what to do in this type of situation. I would be panicking right now if one of my friends got hurt. I would have no idea about what I should do!" Kazuna said, sticking her tongue out.

"Remember to always remain calm in these types of situations!" I told Kazuna. "And also, my mum is a nurse. She teaches me about these things sometimes" I answered. "Does it hurt?"

"Nope! I'm A-okay!" Kazuna told me, giving me a thumbs-up.

"I'm just glad that you didn't sprain your ankle" I mentioned to her.

"So am I..." Kazuna replied, sighing in relief. She put her sock and shoe back on. Then, she jolted upright.

"WE MIGHT'VE LOST EMI!" Kazuna stated.

"Calm down Kazuna! We just have to keep calm and collected!" I said.

"This is a new side of you Miru" Kazuna muttered.

"I become like this when I have to be serious" I commented.

"That makes sense."

Just then, Kazuna and I both heard footsteps approaching.

"Did I just hear Emi? Is Emi here?!"

A girl with light blonde hair with a green ombre at the tips appeared out of nowhere. She had a bunch of colourful hair clips. Wow, Hanaka would not approve. If I wore that many hair clips, she'd Hanaka Slap me.

Then, when she saw Kazuna and I, she opened her mouth to speak.

Mitsue

I was walking around with a popsicle in my hand. We were supposed to have so much fun today but here I am stuck, looking for Emi-chan!

I walked past the large swimming pool with aqua blue water. Oh how I wanted to just jump in and relax! Where is Emi-chan? I want to play with her!

I quickly began asking everyone if they had seen Emi-chan. Unfortunately everyone was too busy having fun that they didn't notice a blonde girl. Then, I saw two girls talking loudly under the palm trees. I even heard them mention Emi-chan! I quickly ran up to them.

"Hey Hey! Are you guys looking for Emi-chan too?" I chirped. "I'm looking for her too! Are you Emi-chan's friends as well?"

"Who are you and what is with your hair clips? That's way too many!" Kazuna asked.

"I love all my colorful hair hair clips!" I replied. "Don't you know Harajuku Decora?"

"Ooh! Decora is so colorful!" Miru stated, throwing her arms into the air.

"Anyways, have you seen Emi?" Kazuna sighed.

"No. I lost her so I'm looking for her." I replied."You lost her too?" Miru asked. "Man Emi just disappeared. Anyways, who are you? I've never seen you before."

"My name is Mitsue Sasaki from Four Star Academy! I'm Emi-chan's best friend!"

"My name is Kazuna Hitori and Emi is MY BEST FRIEND. I didn't know she had friends from other schools but she's MY BEST FRIEND."

"My name is Miru Akari and I'm the stegosaurus idol! I didn't know Emi had friends from other schools too. How did you meet Emi?" Miru asked.

"We're in the same class dummy. How can I not know her?" Mitsue replied.

"Wait a minute. This doesn't make sense, Emi is in your class? Just who are you looking for?" Kazuna questioned.

"Emi-chan."

"Elaborate!"

"I'm looking for Emi Hoshino the polymath idol, the all rounded idol, the ex-child actress. Ring a bell?""Nope." Miru began.

"We are looking for Emi Miharu from Miracle Sparks!"

"Never heard of her either."

"Never mind that. It just a funny coincidence that we happened to each lose an Emi. Let's go look for them together." Kazuna requested.

"Sure!"

The three of us began chit chatting about our school lives and soon before we knew it we had made our way to the pool side. I saw so many yummy cold drinks I wanted to buy one too. I looked at the people happily playing in the water. I just want to hurry up and find Emi so we can play in the water! I stomped my feet on the ground stubbornly.

All of a sudden this huge dragonfly buzzing around the air made it's way towards me."HELP! IT'S A DRAGONFLY!" I shrieked. I quickly ran towards Miru and Kazuna who where searching for Emi.

"What are you doing Mitsue?"

"There's a dragonfly eep!"

I crashed into both of them and we fell straight into the pool.

"AHHHHHH! I can't touch the ground I can't- oh I can." Mitsue wailed.

Kazuna

I climbed out of the pool dripping wet. When Miru and Mitsue climbed out, Miru yelled at her.

"I will triangle you!"

"Heh~ sorry" Mitsue said, sticking her tongue out.

"Are you okay?" a staff member asked us.

"We're - achoo!" Miru sneezed.

"Let me go grab some towels" the staff member told us before she hurried away.

The three of us went over to three beach chairs and sat down. The staff member came back with the towels shortly after.

We all sat in silence for a while, until it hit me.

"WHAT ABOUT THE SEARCH FOR EMI?!" I screamed, jolting up from my seat.

"Oh yeah!" Mitsue stood up, and in the process accidentally whacked Miru in the face with her hand.

"AHHH! I never liked you anyways!" Miru shouted at Mitsue. The cheerful girl just looked confused.

"Come on Miru, Mitsue! Let's go!" I told the two girls. Miru ran after me, but Mitsue didn't. She was drinking some punch or something.

I stormed back to her with Miru right behind me.

"What are you doing? I thought you wanted to find Emi!" I questioned.

"I do! But I need to try this drink first! And since it's yummy, when Emi-chan is found, we can play together and drink fruit punch!"

"But you need to find Emi - Achoo!" Miru sneezed.

"Are you okay Miru?" Mitsue and I asked in unison.

Miru sniffled. "I'm fine!"

"Are you sick?" Mitsue asked. Miru shook her head.

"Miru, if you feel unwell, you should stay - Achoo!"

"Now you're sneezing Kazuna!"

At that moment, I noticed Akane walking over to us.

"Who's this?" Mitsue asked before Akane arrived.

"She's Akane Fukada! Our upperclassmen, and a top idol!" I replied.

"Hey Kazuna, Miru, why are you two  just chilling here? Have you already found Emi?" Akane asked.

"Mitsue was the one chilling! And - Achoo!"

"You alright?" Akane asked, concerned. Miru nodded.

"What happened?"

"We feel into the pool" I responded.

"Oh, well, you girls should come indoors. It's actually a bit cloudy. That's probably why there aren't many people here at the pool" Akane said.

"But Emi is my best friend! Without her, I don't know how I would've overcome my fear! She was there for me, so now I need to be there for her! I need to find Emi!"

"But if you get sick, that won't help anyone" Akane pointed out. Eventually she convinced me to go inside, along with Miru and Mitsue.

I prayed that Emi would be okay, and when she's found, I'll give her the biggest hug ever!

Elliot

Emi went missing and everyone went chaotic.

I was currently taking a job around the area to find my partner, but she was nowhere to be seen."Where could that idiot be?" I asked no one in particular and took a gulp of cold water.

"Disappearing on our trip! And she was the one who suggested the whole thing."

While walking around I spotted three other boys wandering around. I ran up to them. "Excuse me but do you know where Emi is?"

Takeo

Yuto, Kaito and I spun around when we heard a voice. A boy was running up to us, and he had just said the name Emi.

"Who are you? And how do you know Emi?" I asked.

"I'm Elliot Shirota and I'm good friends with Emi!" the boy called Elliot said, smiling happily.

"But Emi's never mentioned you before!" I retorted.

"We don't know Emi that well Takeo" Yuto pointed out.

"Who even are you three?"

Kaito introduced us. "I'm Kaito Suzuki, and these are my friends Yuto Onishi and Takeo Yamashita."

"Emi's never said anything about you three!" Elliot exclaimed. Before I had a chance to say anything back, Kaito piped up.

"Who's this Emi you're looking for" he questioned.

"Emi Hoshino, obviously. Haven't you heard of her?" Elliot stated. We shook our heads. Elliot looked shocked, but came back to his senses.

"Who are you looking for?"

"Emi Miharu" Yuto replied.

"Don't know her."

After a while, Elliot continued. "You want to look for the missing Emi's together?" he asked cheerfully.

We agreed, and the four of us started walking together. There was nothing but silence, and I was beginning to get bored. That is, until an idea came to my head. I put on a sly grin. This was gonna be a ton of fun.

"So Elliot, is Emi Hoshino just a good friend, or your girlfriend?"

Kaito

I looked over at Elliot, who had turned into a tomato.

"N-No! Besides, she likes someone else" Elliot stammered, beat red.

"So sad. You just got friend-zoned" Takeo said, trying to act upset, but he just couldn't stop smirking.

"I've only considered Emi as just a friend" Elliot replied.

"LIAR!" Takeo shouted.

"I'm not lying!" Elliot retorted.

As Elliot and Takeo were arguing, Yuto and I were shaking our heads at their immaturity.

"They really are little kids" I said as I shook my head before smiling.

"Heh, you're right" Yuto chuckled. We kept on walking in peace, until I stopped.

"What is it Kaito?"

Yuto looked up and saw that I was looking at a group of people.

"Let's go ask them if they've seen the missing Emis!" Yuto exclaimed. I watched him come back.

"No luck. Let's keep moving" Yuto said.

"But that guy is chewing with his mouth open, and it's disgusting" I said, scrunching up my face.

Yuto looked at me, then face-palmed. At that moment, Elliot's voice was heard.

"Do you like someone? I bet you do!"

"I like myself" Takeo replied.

"I thought you liked Miru" I said, coming into their conversation.

"NO! She's so annoying! Anyways, you like Kazuna!" Takeo spat.

"No, she's just a friend" I replied calmly.

"No she isn't!"

"Yes she is."

"No!"

"Yes."

"NO!"

"Yes."

Yuto laughed awkwardly. Takeo turned to him, grinning mischievously.

Yuto

Oh no.

"Say Yuto, you like Hanaka don't you?" Takeo said slyly.

"N-No!" I stated, my face red.

"Oh? Well, then I'll just tell Hanaka that you don't like her" Takeo said, shrugging.

"Don't tell her that!" I pleaded.

"But I thought you said that you didn't like her" Takeo said. He grabbed his phone out of his pocket as he said this.

"I-I... I do like her!" I said loudly. After a while, I realised what I had said.

"I don't like her in that way though..." I muttered quietly.

"I-I... I do like her!"

I heard my voice on Takeo's phone. We all looked at the laughing Takeo.

"PLEASE DELETE THE VOICE RECORDING!" I begged.

"Or what?" Takeo teased.

"Or..or I-ll...uhh..."

Takeo rolled his eyes and laughed before sticking the phone back in his pocket.

"Anyways, it's getting late. Let's continue searching!" Takeo told us, as if nothing ever happened.

Emi Hoshino

After stopping by the bar for a drink, I walked around the pool. I spotted a crowd surrounding the building and I thought that maybe someone I knew would be here. I quickly skipped over to inspect the commotion. When I got close I noticed a single paper taped high on the wall. It was a colorful poster with large words.

Aikatsu island was hosting a performance contest in pairs of two. Usually I would enter these contests with Honoka but since she is not here today I could either ask Luka or Mitsue. I groaned suddenly realizing that I had lost them in the island. The contest was taking place soon and I really wanted to sing but I had no partners.

I could run around frantically shouting their names, but that would be embarrassing. Perhaps there was someone here who was willing to sign up with me. I was so upset that I could pull all my hair out. This reminded me of a time I really wanted to attend S4's concert but I had exams!

I quickly scanned the pool area and the bar. I spotted a brown haired girl with lilac ombre all by herself walking around aimlessly.

Maybe I should ask her? What if she's not an idol? Oh come on Emi! We are on Aikatsu island, an island dedicated for idols, go and ask her.

I walked over to where the girl was standing and gently tapped her shoulder.

"Excuse me but are you an idol?" I asked.

The young girl's eyes lit up when I spoke and nodded.

"I don't know if you have a partner or not but I was wondering if you would like to partner up with me for the idol contest." I offered kindly.

"Sure!" She replied. "I have no one else to partner up with anyways. I lost sight of my friends."

I raised an eyebrow. "You too? I lost sight of my friends too."

The other idol giggled.

"Let me introduce myself. My name is Emi Hoshino and I'm from Four Star Academy."

The girl's eyes widened. "My name is Emi too!"

"Wow! Really?"

"I am Emi Miharu and I'm from Stardust Academy! Nice to meet you!"

The other Emi smiled at me. I smiled back. What a coincidence that we were both lost, and we were both named Emi. Emi and I walked over to sign up for the contest. While Emi was writing her name down, I was thinking about the others. I might've said yes to quickly. I would've entered the contest with Kazuna, but since I had been so careless, I lost her, and the rest of my friends.

"Here Emi!"

Emi handed me the piece of paper and pen. I scanned the list. Not one of my friend's names were on there. I sighed sadly, but smiled when I wrote my name down. I quickly decided that I should get to know Emi better. We had thirty minutes before the contest. I figured that I should ask Emi about herself!

"Sooo Emi! Tell me about yourself!" I stated cheerfully.

"Huh? Well...when I was younger, I used to do acting and modelling! I also have a brand called Cheerful Lolita!" Emi told me.

"Wow! That's amazing! I haven't even had a solo performance yet..." I mumbled.

Emi was shocked for a moment, but she quickly regained her composure.

"You haven't?"

I shook my head. "I only debuted recently. At Stardust Academy, the first performance you put on is in pairs. My best friend, Kazuna Hitori, and myself formed Miracle☆Sparks! She's already had her solo, but I haven't yet. Mine's soon though! But I'm nervous..." I said quietly.

"You don't need to be nervous! Having your first solo performance may seem a bit scary at first, but once your on stage, the feeling is amazing!" Emi exclaimed.

"Do you have any tips for me?" I asked.

"Hmmm...I think it depends on the idol, but you just have to push all your doubts away and sing your heart out!" Emi said passionately. "You know why we idols perform right?"

I nodded, smiling broadly. "To make people smile!"

"That's one reason!" Emi said happily. I grinned at her.

"Anyways Emi, we should probably head to the venue. The performance is drawing closer" Emi told me.

"Okie dokie!" I replied, beaming.

"Wait..."

It took me a second to realise that we were both lost. We both sighed in unison. Just then, two girls passed us. Without thinking, I raced up to them.

"Excuse me, but are you two idols?"

The two girls stopped laughing and smiled at me. "Yup!"

My eyes lit up. "Are you two heading over to the venue now?"

The two girls said yes once more.

"My friend got lost" I stuck out my tongue. "Would you mind showing us the way?"

"Sure!"

Emi and I followed the girls back to the hotel, and the venue. On the way, we chatted about nothing in particular. I learnt about a boy called Asahi. Unlike Ryuu, Asahi seemed spunky and fun. I huffed thinking about the chestnut-haired male idol.

"Emi!"

Emi and I both looked up. Asami, and the rest of Epiphany was running up to me.

"Are you okay Emi? Were you eaten by a shark?" Kaguya asked.

"Now that's just plain stupid" Akane sighed. Kaguya stuck her tongue out.

"Are you alright? What happened?" Megumi asked worriedly.

"I'm fine! I got lost is all! I'm terribly sorry for making you worry!" I apologised, apologising and bowing ten times.

"What matters is that you're safe now" Asami said gently as she gave me a hugged. I felt like I was flying right up to the stars! I can't believe someone that the Asami, the idol that I adore so much, is hugging me!

"Well, we should call Kazuna and the others to let them know that Emi's safe" Akane said, taking her Aikatsu mobile out.

"Where is Kazuna? And Hanaka and Miru?" I wondered out loud.

"They, along with the boys, went searching for you. They were all anxious that something had happened to you" Megumi told me.

I felt incredibly guilty. I lowered my head.

"Don't worry Emi! You can apologise to them when they come back!" Kaguya declared. Akane hit her on the head.

"I definitely will!" I said.

Asami smiled, then looked over at Emi. "Who's your friend?"

"I'm Emi Hoshino. It's nice to meet you" Emi said, smiling.

Kaguya approached Emi and took a big sniff. Akane whacked her again and dragged her away from the startled Emi, scolding Kaguya at the same time.

Kaguya wasn't listening though. She had closed her eyes, and only opened them when she was about to speak.

"Emi Hoshino has the scent of an idol! Are you an idol?" Kaguya asked Emi. The blonde nodded.

"And what a cute one too! Oh! I'm sorry, we should introduce ourselves in case you don't know us. Emi, would you do the honours?" Megumi said.

Megumi must've read my mind, since I really wanted to introduce them to Emi.

"Of course! Emi, these are my amazingly talented upperclassmen! They're the top idols at my school, and the idols that everyone strive to be! Epiphany is the idol group I look up to!" After a while, it dawned on me. I became a bit flustered. "I-I...I mean..."

Asami and Megumi giggled. Akane was still yelling at Kaguya.

"Aww! That was so sweet!" Asami said cheerfully.

"I'm very flattered" Megumi commented happily.

Emi smiled at me to continue. "You were saying?"

"Heh~ Well, the members of Epiphany are Asami Ogawa, Megumi Kobayashi, Akane Fukada and Kaguya Matsuda!" I announced excitedly.

"Oh no! Look at the time!" Megumi exclaimed. "We've been invited to put on the opening performance for the contest! Are you two entering?"

"Yes!" Emi and I said in unison.

"Good luck!" Epiphany stated as they went and put on another spectacular live. Emi stood there in awe. "They really are astounding, like S4!" Emi said, her eyes sparkling. I felt that tingly feeling again. Epiphany was truly invincible. No idol group was better than them!

"And now, let the competition begin! First up, the contestants we have are...Emi Hoshino and Emi Miharu!" the host said. Applause was heard as we stepped onto the stage. At that moment, I saw Kazuna, Hanaka, Miru, Ryuu, Kaito, Yuto and Takeo's face appear in the crowd, along with two other girls, and two other boys. Before I apologise, I'm going to give my friends the best performance they've seen me do yet!"

Emi Hoshino

Emi and I gave each other a high five before we exited the stage we both admired so much. I knew that she was nervous about her solo performance but she is a prodigious idol and I know that she will succeed.

As we walked down the stairs a bunch of people ran up to us including my friends. Emi Miharu laughed sheepishly and apologized and I knew that those students must be her friends. So she so much friends I was slightly envious. I was never too good at making friends since I'm pretty shy.

"Where were you?" Elliot asked, worried. "We spent the entire morning looking for you."

"I went to the washroom and went I walked out none of you were there!" I shouted angrily.

"Worried about your girlfriend eh?" A boy joked and wrapped his arm around Elliot.

Elliot's face turned red and pushed the other boy's arm off of him.

"Shut up Takeo."

The boy, Takeo gave him a sly smirk before turning towards me."Nice to meet I am Takeo Yamashita. I've heard a lot about you from your boy-"

"Ahem." Asahi interrupted. "I am her boyfriend."

Takeo froze and quickly whipped his head towards Elliot. He whispered into his ears.

"Why didn't you tell me she had a boyfriend?" He whispered.

I chuckled at how awkward to situation was.

"Oh my god! I am so glad you are alright." Asahi shrieked. "I didn't know what I'll do if you got kidnapped."

"This guy here had separation anxiety because of you." Luka stated and the girl next to her giggled. "This is Hanaka."

"Nice to meet you Emi. Oh and I'm sure you met Emi too." She joked. "You guys had a great performance!"

Emi and I watched patiently as the test scores came up. I held her hand tightly as we watched the screen in anticipation.

Our scores came up and we beat all the other contestants by an inch. Emi and I threw our hands into the air and screamed loudly.

During the party I met all of Emi's friends. They were very nice and funny idols and I had a great time with them. I followed them all on this cool app called IdolDream and laughed at Emi's quirky profile picture.

I left the island feeling content. I made new friends and had a great time. Hopefully I can come back here and perhaps meet up with the amazing Emi Miharu again!

Emi Miharu

The party was a blast! I met all of Emi's amazing friends too! Everyone was chatting and playing some fun party games, though I stood to the side, thinking about the amazing performance Emi and I just pulled off. Kazuna approached me.

"Aren't you going to enjoy the party?" Kazuna asked me.

"I will! I'm just thinking" I replied as I daydreamed about being as skilled as Emi was.

"By the way, don't run off again. You had us all worried" Kazuna told me sternly.

"I'm just kidding! Well, not about the part about you running off. But I'm grateful" Kazuna said, standing next to me.

"Grateful?"

"Yep! I'm grateful that you introduced to new and awesome idols! Meeting new idols is a part of Aikatsu!" Kazuna exclaimed.

"You're right!" I stated cheerfully. We smiled at each other.

"Come on Emi! Let's go have fun with our new friends!" Kazuna said as we both went back to the group.

We all played some fun and quirky party games afterwards. I showed Emi my profile on IdolDream, and she loved my profile pic! I mean, she may have laughed, but she said it was adorable! I also talked about Stardust. In return, Emi told me about Four Star Academy. It sounded wonderful! When we go back to school, I'm gonna ask Headmistress Seiko to let us go on a student exchange program!

At that moment, the boy called Asahi and the annoying Ryuu came up to us.

"Your Emi isn't bad, but I told you that my Emi's more stunning!" Asahi remarked, putting an arm around Emi, who sighed.

"Don't say 'your Emi!' and pffft! My Emi is just as skilled! I mean, Emi is just as skilled!" Ryuu retorted.

Emi and I let them argue as we went and talked to Miru, Mitsue, Kaito and Yuto. That Ryuu really is weird. I have no idea about what he was saying.

After a good hour, everyone retreated back to their bedrooms. We grabbed our luggage and said our final goodbyes to Emi and her friends.

I left Aikatsu Island with bubbling excitement. The world is filled with so many interesting idols! It was like a dream to perform with Emi! I was going to take her advice and do my absolute best for my solo performance.

I can't wait till I meet the spectacular Emi Hoshino once more!
