Hello reader! Welcome to my new story based off the Aikatsu franchise :3 The story shares some features from the other stories, and of course the characters will use Aikatsu cards and all of that xD. I will provide images for some coords and my best friend and myself will be writing lyrics for the songs ^.^. The story might be a little cringy, but I'll do my best to improve it! I hope you enjoy this story!

Emi

"Emi Miharu! Wake up!" my mum yelled.

"Five more minutes..." I murmured. My mum sighed.

"Fine. But don't blame me if you're late on your first day" my mum muttered.

"Wait...HUH?" I jolted right out of bed and raced to my mum. "Isn't it tomorrow?" I questioned frantically. My mum shook her head.

I rushed back into my room and quickly dressed in my new Stardust Academy uniform. I tied my vibrant brown hair with a lilac ombre that started three-quarters down into two ponytails on the bottom of either side of my head, using golden hair ties. My purple eyes with a hint of gold were gleaming with excitement. I placed my lilac bow on the left side of my head and was finally ready to go. I grabbed my lilac luggage and purple bag before skipping out of my room.

The Normal Stardust Uniform:

As I came into the living room, on the TV was Epiphany. The greatest idols of all time!

"They're amazing!" I stated as I sat down in front of the TV. Epiphany consisted of four equally talented idols, who were at the top of the Aikatsu world, and Stardust Academy. They were Asami Ogawa, Megumi Kobayashi, Akane Fukada and Kaguya Matsuda. Asami, my favourite out of all of them, had wavy pastel orange hair which went up to waist, with some of her hair in two loose buns on either side of her head. The rest of her hair was let down, and she had a single braid on the right side of her head. Asami also had these lovely emerald green eyes that sparkled. Megumi had wavy hip-length dark coffee brown hair that she let down, and had a small portion of her hair in a ponytail on the back of her head. Megumi also had beautiful magenta eyes. Akane had straight red hair that she wore in a side plait that rested on her left shoulder, and she wore a blue headband. Akane also had striking blue eyes. Kaguya had short and slightly curly vibrant mint green hair that was styled in a bob, and her hair only went down to her chin. Kaguya also had these joyful yellow eyes. When I get to Stardust, I hope I'll be able to meet them all!

"Hey kiddo! You excited?" my dad asked as he high-fived me. He had just come out of the kitchen and passed me my breakfast.

"Of course!...But I'm a little nervous" I said.

"Don't be stressed! This is your dream right? What do you always say?"

"I'm gonna fly to my dreams!" I cheered happily.

"Oh yes, that cheesy line" my dad chuckled.

"Hey! You're a meanie" I said, both of my cheeks growing in size. My dad laughed.

"You two should start to hurry. You don't want to be late!" my mother exclaimed.

"Done!" I exclaimed.

"You can leave the plates there. We have to go!" my mum stated. I followed her outside of the Miharu Bakery. My luggage and bag were already in the car.

"Before we leave, let's take a picture to commemorate this moment!" my dad suggested, and we did just that. As my parents got into the car, I took one final look at my home. "When I come back, I'll be an idol!"

"Are we there yet?" I asked.

"Not yet" my mum answered for the fiftieth time. I sighed and turned my head to look out the car window.

"Hey, wasn't this the spot where the New Year's Festival was held?" I asked.

"It sure is" my dad commented.

Thinking about the festival made me remember the encounter I had with a girl around my age.

The New Year's Festival was one week before the entrance exam. As I walked around, I accidentally bumped into a girl. She had twinkling turquoise eyes with a hint of pink at the bottom of each one and long, flowing blue-violet hair that went up to a bit above her waist. "Oops! Sorry!" I said, apologising.

"It's fine! Anyways, do you know where I can find a lucky talisman?" she asked.

"At a lucky talisman stall!" I replied, grinning.

"I know that, but where would that be?" the girl questioned, sighing.

"Hmmm..somewhere here!" I said cheerfully.

"I know that! But can you give me a specific location? Or at least point me in the right direction?" the girl muttered, sighing heavily.

"Ohhh....but wouldn't you prefer being around food stalls? There's so much food!" I remarked delightedly, my eyes twinkling. The girl smacked her forehead with her palm.

"Nevermind..."

"Wait! I think I saw a lucky talisman stall! Follow me!" I told her. As we walked to the stall, I introduced myself.

"I'm Emi Miharu!" I asked.

"I'm Kazuna Hitori. Nice to meet you Emi!" Kazuna declared, giving me a smile. I smiled back. We spent the next few minutes asking questions to each other. I found that we had quite a lot of things in common. Soon, we were chatting as if we knew each other our whole lives. I felt comfortable around Kazuna. We were both having such a fun and great time that we walked right passed the talisman stall. Kazuna and I ended up in an open area where many families were, including mine and hers. We introduced our parents to one another. Before we knew it, the new year had started, and Kazuna and I watched the fireworks together.

"Woah! Wow!" I exclaimed every time a firework exploded in the night sky.

"They sure are wonderful" Kazuna said, grinning.

After a while, Kazuna and I travelled to a nearby shrine together. We waited as the people in front of us were praying.

"Hey Kazuna, do you like idols?" I asked while we waited for our turn.

"Of course! They're so cool.." Kazuna said, sighing happily.

"The Stardust Academy entrance exam is next week, and I'm going to do my absolute best to get in! I might even be able to meet my all time favourite idol unit is Epiphany" Kazuna told me excitedly.

My eyes lit up. "I love Epiphany too! They're amazing! I want to be like Asami one day, and be able to lead and inspire others! I'll make dreams rise! That's why I'm going to the Stardust entrance exam too! " I told Kazuna. She grinned.

"You better not disappoint me Emi" she said, winking.

"Hm? What do you mean?"

"What I'm saying is that you have to get in! Let's stop at nothing to achieve our dreams and let them rise!" she said.

"Of course! I'm going to work harder now!" I replied excitedly.

It was our turn next. Kazuna and I both stepped forward to pray. I prayed from the bottom of my heart that Kazuna and I would both get in, and one day be top idols together!

After we finished praying, Kazuna and I said our goodbyes with the promise of being top idols together.

"May our dreams come true!" we chorused as we looked up to the stars, right before we left.

Currently, I was wandering around the school. An hour ago, my parents and I shared a tearful goodbye, and the opening ceremony that welcomed all the students and explained how the school worked had just concluded. I may or may not have been day-dreaming most of the time. The only time when I paid attention was when Epiphany and Just Soar stepped onto the stage. I listened to them eagerly, well I listened to Epiphany.

Just Soar was the top idol unit from the boy division, which was controlled by Headmaster Hideaki Seiko. We had Headmistress Hoshi Seiko. Sometimes, the two divisions joined together to do performances and lessons.

As I skipped along the pathway to my class, two girls passed me. The first one had wavy pale blonde hair that she had tied in a side ponytail on the left side of her head, with a messy bun sitting right on top of her ponytail. And I noticed that the girl had dazzling rose-gold eyes. The second one had short raspberry red hair that changed to orange. It was straight and curled in very slightly at the ends. She had vibrant teal eyes. The girl with the pale blonde hair and rose-gold eyes seemed to be thoroughly annoyed with the girl who had raspberry red hair and an orange ombre, and teal eyes, who was apologising, but I think her mind was somewhere else. I watched as the two girls passed me.

I took my seat in the classroom. I watched as all the students in my class came pouring in. Our teacher was late. I sat there for a while, doodling in my notebook, until my head jerked up. A girl with blue-violet hair and turquoise eyes had just entered. I raced up to her.

"K-Kazuna?!" I stuttered, surprised.

"Emi?!...Well, it looks like you didn't let me down after all" Kazuna told me, grinning. I hugged her.

"Alright darlings! To your seats!" our teacher said. Kazuna and I took her seats next to one another.

"I'm your teacher, Maeko Hiroki! Before we start this introduction lesson, I'll be giving you some essential items that you'll be needing! She handed us each an Aikatsu mobile and our student ID card.

(A/N: The ID case will be like the ones from Aikatsu Stars, except all silver, and they'll also have the school logo on the back and gold stars)

"Now, since we don't have much time left, open up the app on your phone with the Aikatsu cards on the icon" she instructed, pointing her finger at the class.

We all did as she told. "Cool! It's the coord producer!" Kazuna said.

"What's that?" I asked.

"Eh?! You don't know?! It's where you design your own coords. There's a room for it that has more details, and it's easier to use, but I heard that you can also use the coord producer on the Aikatsu Cards app. You can also scan your cards with this app, and they save your cards" Kazuna told me.

'Right you are darling!" Miss Hiroki said, startling both Kazuna and myself. "You can save cards on this app too, but we store our cards in our Aikatsu Card Albums." She handed everyone a gold album with silver stars on the cover. Inside, there were multiple slips, with each one split into four sections, the perfect size to fit Aikatsu cards in.

"Each slip can fit four of your cards. If you need more, just let one of us teachers know and we'll give you little darlings some more! But you all have a long way to go yet" our teacher said.

Kazuna had already started designing her coord. She was tapping away at her screen.

"Since we only just started out, we don't have a lot of styles, patterns and fabrics to choose from..." Kazuna said, sighing.

"I'm sure that you're all aware that at our school, if you put on an outstanding performance, you get points. Now, there are two categories. If you do really well on a performance, and say, you got one hundred points, then you'd get one hundred points in each category. Now, with the first category, you can spend your points on things like your dorms, which, you will get after your performance later, and different styles, patterns and fabrics for your coord. With the other category, you can't spend the points. Instead, you'll be saving them until the end of this year. Sadly, Epiphany and Just Soar are in their third and final year here, but that means that when they graduate, we will have a top idol selection to determine the next top idols at our school. If a pair from the first years makes it in, then you'll be a top idol until you graduate! Oh, and also, we chose the five pairs with the most points from each division to create their own unique coord, which will be under your own brand name! If you don't become a top idol though, then your brand won't be established. If you do, then your brand will obviously become a reality. And don't forget that you'll be competing against the second years too!" Miss Hiroki explained.

She had everyone hooked when she said that we had a performance later. Everyone was rather nervous about that. Except Kazuna.

"I definitely want to become one of the top pairs in the school! Then, I'll be able to design my own coord! That would be a dream come true..." Kazuna said, sighing happily. She then turned back to her phone and completed her coord.

"There! The Snow Dream coord is completed!" she remarked.

"Wow! It's so pretty" I said, admiring her coord.

Miss Hiroki then told us how to send our card design to the coord producer room. You add to add your name and the coord's name. Afterwards, the staff at the coord producer room would take care of it.

When the bell went, Kazuna and I went to the coord producer room to pick up our coords. We told the lady behind the counter our names and coord names, and after she checked our student ID's, she handed us our cards.

I couldn't stop marvelling about my coord.

'This...this is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! The Flower Dream coord is truly wonderful!" I said.

Kazuna laughed.

Before we could say anything else, we head a voice on the loud speaker telling all the first years to meet at the hall, which was in the middle of both divisions. Kazuna, myself and the rest of the first years did so.

"Nice to see you all beaming sparkling stars! Now, if your teachers haven't told you already, you were required to find a partner, because later, my starry self, who also goes by Headmaster Seiko, my wife, Headmistress Seiko, your teachers, Epiphany and Just Soar will be judging you. And your fellow students will be there too! This is a perfect chance to snag some points! If you haven't already found a partner, I suggest you do so while heading to the training rooms. You also need a shiny unit name! Now see you tiny stars in a tiny while!" Headmaster Seiko said before bouncing off the stage. As Kazuna and I walked to the training rooms, Kazuna turned to me.

"Emi, this is it! Our first performance!" she said as she lifted her hand in the air. "Let's light up the sky together!" she said.

"Of course! I really would love to perform with you! Let's make dreams rise!" I said, smiling as we high-fived.

"Now...we need a name..." Kazuna said, thinking.

"I know, how about Miracle☆Sparks! We'll be like sparks of a miracle, lighting up people's hearts as we make them unleash their dreams!" I said joyfully.

"I like it! Well, in just a few hours, the curtain shall rise on Miracle☆Sparks!" Kazuna said, beaming.

I beamed at her too, before I realised that she had a few hours.

"Why weren't we told sooner?!" I stated, frantic.

"Because, idols need to be prepared at all times. You never know when you might need to perform!" Kazuna said.

"But we're only just starting! What if we make a mistake! What if we FALL! What if we TRIP!" I wailed.

"Well, our audience will understand. They don't expect you to be amazing on your first performance, but we will be!" Kazuna said, pulling me along with her.

"And don't worry! I've already come up with some moves and some lyrics! I just need your help to come up with some more moves and your lines! Then, we'll be done! And if we concentrate and focus, and if we are the perfect partners with perfect compatibility, we'll shine!" Kazuna stated.

"Of course!" I replied, my eyes sparkling

"Next, we have..." Mr Kurokawa, another teacher, said as he checked the list. We had told him our names, and our unit name. "Ah yes, we have Miracle☆Sparks, which consists of Emi Miharu and Kazuna Hitori of the Aurora Symphony class!

"What's the other class for the girl division called?" I asked Kazuna.

"Sapphire Melody" she whispered back.

"Oh yeah! I knew that!" I said cheerfully. Kazuna sighed, but smiled afterwards.

"Now let's go!" we said in unison as we headed towards the fitting room, our cards in our hands.

Before we got ready, Kazuna and I turned to face each other and chanted together.

"Miracle☆Sparks, like a rising dream!"

Special Appeal: Miracle☆Sparks Dreamers (A/N: I'll be using existing special appeals, but once in a while Kaylee and I will make our own. This special appeal that we've created goes like this: The two idols are on separate clouds decorated with stars. The cloud is their respective colour. Eg. Emi's will be lilac and Kazuna's will be sky blue. The background will be a silver starry one (Regular pairs have silver backgrounds, top idol pairs have gold, and when there's a rainbow starry background, that means the pair...you'll have to keep reading to find out!)
Afterwards a bright, glowing star will float down. The idols both extend their arms and the star falls into their hands. Together, the idols lift their arms up and the star flies up in the air. The idols strike their own individual pose, and while doing so the star explodes into glitter. There are also gold and silver stars, rainbow stardust and snowflakes surrounding Emi and Kazuna. Depending on the idols, the additional backdrop accessories (the gold and silver stars, the rainbow stardust and snowflakes etc.) will change to suit the idols performing. Please do not use this aura without Kaylee and my permission)

"We did it Kazuna!" I said after our performance. We high-fived. "I can't believe that Epiphany, Headmaster and Headmistress Seiko, Just Soar, our teachers stood up and clapped for us! Everyone else was cheering! We did it we did it we did it!" I said, jumping for joy.

"Yep! And this is just the start of Miracle☆Sparks!" Kazuna said, grinning broadly.

We slipped our cards into our Aikatsu Card Albums. "I can't wait until all the performances finish! I'm really sleepy..." I said, yawning. I smiled at my album.

"I can't believe that we actually put on a successful live, with our own coords! I'm going to treasure this moment forever!" I said, hugging my album. Kazuna agreed with me wholeheartedly.

After, we watched the other performances. They were all so amazing!...though I may or may not have started daydreaming about filling my Aikatsu Card Album, and becoming a top idol with Kazuna.

Finally, they announced the results. I grew excited when Asami came upon the stage. I held my breath.

"Firstly, let me congratulate you all on your amazing performances! I was blown away! I would love to get to know all of you! I hope that Epiphany will have the chance to meet all of you!" Asami said, smiling sweetly. Kenji, who was next to her, grinned at the audience. He was announcing the boy units first.

"Like Asami said, you all had spectacular performances. It was an honour to watch you all, and Just Soar was extremely pleased with everyone's performances. Good job!" Kenji exclaimed. Some of the girls swooned. Afterwards, Kenji announced the boy units that all got a hundred points.

"Now, I'll announce the top three units that each got one hundred points!" Asami said, glowing with happiness. Kazuna and I clutched each other.

"And the third unit who got one hundred points is...Miracle☆Sparks! Congratulations!"

Our phones buzzed in our pockets once we got outside, which took a while to get out, since Kazuna and I were hugging and high-fiving and hugging.

I swiped to the next page of apps and checked the app that kept a track of our points. I saw a sparkly one hundred. I hugged Kazuna again. I like hugs.

As the bell rang, announcing lunch, Kazuna and I smiled at each other once more. Our Aikatsu had finally begun!

Our hearts are singing and our dreams are rising! Aikatsu Dreams is about to begin!
